My sit for Tom and Terese just went as one would expect a sit to go on THS. They are lovely people, who will make sure you feel right at home and if there is anything they are just a text away. I arrived a day in advance to get to know Gracie and her habits and the house which was all lovely. The house is beautifully located just one street of the common which is perfect for Gracie and where we walked often and close to any shops you would need or public transport. The neighbours are all friendly and very welcoming and Gracie herself is a very sweet and very energetic doggy although she is nearly 3 she is still a puppy at heart and loves to be close to you at all times( which makes you feel very protected and loved). She is also an excellent guard dog and will let you know whenever anyone approaches the house. She loves to play with her toys and will bring them to you when she wants to play with you and her favourite activity is chasing squirrels albeit in the garden or on the common. She is completely fine off the lead when walking on the common and if she seems to be a bit distracted some biscuits will do the trick to get her back focused and giving you the sweetest puppy eyes( same counts for when you're eating😅). It was lovely sit and I would definitely recommend it to others.Thank you Tom and Terese for having me! It was a pleasure 😊
Baylor, Lena and Mike have created a wonderful, comfortable well loved home to enjoy while you have a wonderful companion, Baylor, to play ball, chase sticks and show you around his neighborhood. Everyone on the street and all his friends at the playground know and love Baylor. He's shy at first but quickly warms to a friend who will walk, play ball and throw sticks any time of day. Lena and Mike are great hosts with clear instructions and lovely neighbors to help anyway they can. I hope I get to stay with Baylor in the future.
Great young couple. All my questions were answered fast. Due Covid 19 , they came home couple days earlier than scheduled . They let me stay until my scheduled departure date.It was very much appreciated. Thank you guys. The house is 3 minutes from the bus station. Very convenient. A very nice, big house with all the comfort. The dog Summer, is the sweetest dog. So so friendly, will not leave you alone. The cats very entertaining and very funny. I will be back. Thank you guys. I had a fine time sitting for Rachel in Boulder! She was super accommodating when I needed to communicate with her in regards to a few things I left behind by accident (oops!). Her pup was loving the ball being thrown whilst i relaxed on the awesome patio surrounded by pines overlooking the foothills! The baby grand piano was a hit as well and the pup was only but adorable and easy with effortless walks I might add! ;)
We had a wonderful time looking after Suki in Amber and Oliver’s home. Although Suki took a while to warm up to us, we were best friends by the end of our stay. She was very easy to care for and giving her her daily medication was straightforward. Amber and Oliver’s home is in a great location, very close to the centre of Bath, so everything you need is just a short walk away. Their home itself is clean and well-organised, and we felt right at home during our stay. We would highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a house sit in the heart of Bath.
Kenya, Daphne and their human, Kim, were the absolute sweetest!! While Kim was very accurate that Kenya and Daphne would be super energetic upon meeting us, she was also spot on that they'd calm down very quickly. Kim had told us that Daphne could be challenging on walks, in that she'd lunge after small animals, but because Daphne was so chill at home, it was still a surprise when she was indeed challenging. So take heed to everything Kim tells you regarding her beloved fur family ;). Kim was VERY organized when it came to instructions re: care of Kenya, Daphne and the house; which was much appreciated. The house is located in very close proximity to the Thunder Mountain Trail and we were able to take one nice little hike w/the dogs; unfortunately, shortly after our stay began, the weather turned much warmer and it was more difficult to take the dogs out for very long. Having said that, there was one afternoon, that Tonya was able to walk to the Sedona Film Festival Theater and catch a matinee. Overall, this was an amazing sit in every way and should we have the chance to do so again; we'd be ever so happy to accommodate.

Su and family have provided Dog walking, daycare, holiday stays and emergency cover for my dog for the last 7 years and before that looked after my elderly fragile cat. Their service is fully insured and they adhere to high professional standards. They have a great bond with my pets who really enjoy spending time with them as they are treated like one of the family - a home from home. Spot on were key holders for my house which was so useful when I had to rush away on a family emergency. They were able to collect my dog and all she needed and look after her until I was ready to come pick her up. I tried other companies before I discovered Su and family and this is the best by far.
Spot On Pet Care have been looking after Stanley for over a year now.We used their Dog walking service regularly when Stanley was a puppy and now he attends day care and stays overnight and whilst we holiday! I only have to mention Suzannes name and he is chomping at the bit to get round there. Would Highly recommend anyone wanting home from home care for their doggies.
Phoned up to arrange a stay for my dog. She asked what sort of breed he was and if he was good with other dogs. I answered he is half border collie half golden retriever and that the border collie breed makes him pretty excitable but he is a good boy. She promptly said he wouldn't be a good fit because it was in her home. I can understand not wanting a misbehaved dog in my home. But what she failed to find out was my dog is 9 years old and as sweet as they come. It would have been more professional to maybe arrange a meet and greet. Or to at least find out more about him.
Barney loves going to day care each week and Suzanne takes so much care of him - starting to think he likes Suzanne more than me! He can never wait to get through the gate. Suzanne is very caring and I know Barney is in good hands. I would never dream of sending him elsewhere. All queries are responded to very efficiently. Excellent service all round. Would definitely recommend
We have taken our dog Millie to Suzanne for boarding many times now when we have been away and can not take her with us. She is well cared for in a nice family environment and is always happy to go there. I would recommend Spot On to anyone who wants to know there dog is in good hands when you are away.

Jane has been walking Doris for sometime now she is extremely reliable and trustworthy and always goes above a beyond. Doris adores her which means a lot to me. You can tell by the interaction she has with your dog that this is not just a business for her. I have no problem in recommending her.
Ive used a number of Dog Nursery's as I have to travel a lot for work. I can honestly say this is one of the best I've come across.I would recommend them to anyone. And more importantly my Border Terrier 'Fras' loves it!
Our dog Charlie is really well looked after by Jane and unlike a lot of day cares we've used before, she goes the extra mile by sending pictures during the day so we know Charlie's having fun with his friends!

Highly recommend jessicas pet care, I have 3 fur babies and I get extremely worried about leaving them but jessica is reliable and instantly made me feel at ease with leaving them in her care. My dog stayed 10 days at Brookfield Place kennels recently. We're over an hour away and I had looked at oh, so many more local kennels before I found this one. It's small - which I much prefer to the larger ones that seem to run like military camps - and has a relaxed feel. The best thing though? The massive freedom field that they use to exercise each dog. Mine whined when I put him in my car to leave, and came back absolutely desperate to spend as much time as possible outdoors. I'd forgotten to pick up a couple of his items and they were very kindly posted to me. I don't need to use kennels too often but I'd absolutely take the 75 minute drive there again.
This was Beryl's first stay in kennels and she seems to have had a great time! She was well cared for and totally relaxed on pickup. She's already booked in for a few weeks time. Highly recommend.
Thank you Brookfield Kennels, our puppy Joe just had his first experience away from home and seems to have been very happy with his 5 day stay.. We also took the opportunity to have him groomed while he was there and he came home looking very smart and tidy. We will happily book him in again later on this year knowing it’s a nice happy environment for him to stay in. Thanks again for looking after our boy.
We won't be using this kennels again. The last weekend we left our St Bernard in their care, he had not been fed for the three nights he was there. We know because we supplied his own food and it had not been touched. He came back stressed and very agitated, it took a whole week to get him calmed down again. On top of that, when we went to collect him, they could not find his lead, which wasn't a cheap one, but one especially for big dogs, so someone must have known that they had the wrong lead, and we were given no recompense for the loss. Georgia had always been good with him, but she said she didn't work that weekend and therefore any fault was down to the weekend staff !!! I helped to put out a fire in the stable block there some years ago, and this is the karma we get. I would give zero stars if I could, but one thing is for certain, we will NOT be going there again.
Welcoming and genuine on being greeted by the owner. Made a fuss of our daft pooch which she loved and the freedom field is perfect to burn her energy off.
The staff here are amazing, Georgia was so patient and calm and reassuring. We were a bit reluctant to put Jake our 15 year old Jack Russell (who had never been in kennels before) and our reactive greek rescue Rocky in kennels but the set up is so good with the freedom field and best of all Rocky could get straight out to the field from his kennel without anyone having to put him on the lead. Georgia set us a text message update and we really felt we didn't need to worry. When we came to pick them up they were both so happy. I would definitely recommend Brookfield Place to anyone considering it, even if your dog can be difficult or reactive. It's so great to know we have Georgia close by if we ever need to leave the boys again.
We left our pooch for the first time in nearly 4 years so a little apprehensive of course. We were met by a lovely lady who Marshall took to straight away so we left feeling ok but still a little apprehensive. The whole set up is amazing. People, horses, dogs and open ended land!! He’s not a small dog and very excitable and pretty lively but he’s a big softie and loves cuddles. We came back 11 days later to a super happy hound who looked fabulous!! He’s was shiny happy and looked like he’d had just as good a holiday as us with his peanut butter treats even though he did destroy some balls…sorry! 😂 I would 100% recommend this doggy hotel to even the shyest of dog and Marshall will be back very soon. We can’t thank you enough!!
I go to the Freedom Field weekly and it's absolutely fantastic for my boys to run around without worry. I'm very impressed with how the field is kept, with longer and shorter grass for them to play in and water readily available. It's a good price and allows the freedom my dogs deserve without the worry.
Been a couple of times and my dog loves it, it's also very secure and grass kept a good length, however it is a bit confusing to find if you have never been there before and whoever uses it prior leaves alot poop so i do spend alot of the time picking some up otherwise she walks in it but other then that lovely large field for a good sprint.

This is the first time that we have used Oven Green Kennels. We have an old German Shepherd who we love dearly. The owner of the previous kennels, that we had been using, had suddenly retired and we were left phoning around trying to find another 'good' kennels. Right away from the first telehone contact, I had a positive feeling. When we dropped our dog off, I was impressed by the friendly reception. The owners showed us where he would be staying. Everything was clean, spacious and well organised, They were also happy to spend time with us, talking about his dietery needs and giving us a detailed insight into how they look after the dogs in their care. This morning we collected our dog after a two week stay. He was clean and happy and not trying to make a run for the door, as he had done at some other kennels. We are overjoyed that we have discovered Ovens Green Kennels. They really are exceptionally good!
Our dog George just spent 2 weeks in the care of Ovens Green Kennels and was looked after extremely well. He's come home tired, as he always does from kennels (up all night chatting 😁). We also booked a groom for when we collected him, and it's probably the best we've seen his coat, thank you. One happy dog, very happy owners. Thank you to all who helped look after him.
My dog had a fantastic time here over the weekend. Staff are both friendly and efficient. Looking forward to the next time I go away, happy in the knowledge that my dog is happy and well cared for.
Our dogs have been staying with Karen and Dean for years now. Fantastic service and always willing their best to fit you in. Kennels are modern and lovely. I wouldn't take my dogs any where else. We actually travel over an hour to use Ovens Green kennels. Keep up the good work guys x
Brilliant have used them before and have a family room for my 3 older dogs which they loved as very fussy and now they have a day care facility as well not to mention a grooming palour, wouldn’t go anywhere else and will be using them again now for my 6 Sheltie’s couldn’t recommend them highly enough fab service.
Great place for your pet to go, be it one day or a week, they are well looked after. Our dog Spirit loves it there. When we have left him there, our minds are at rest as we know we have left him in great hands. We would highly recommend Ovens Green Kennels you won’t be disappointed.
Dean and team, are an absolute pleasure. I have a very anxious, unsociable westie Cross, who I was nervous about handing over, leaving him in a strange place. I didn't need to worry, he loves going each and every week, he is cared for, and comes out looking like he had the best day ever, he gets so excited to see Dean that he now howls in delight... I would highly recommended this Boarding kennel..
Feels like dropping your beloved pet off to friends. Owners without question accommodate your pet's diet/ likes, etc. From the first phone call to multiple stays over the previous few years, Dean, Karen + family have been so very friendly and courteous to us. My pet always leaves here calm (unlike an experience elsewhere years ago). You don't need to look elsewhere. I am so so so happy to have found such friendly and professional care here. You'll also be supporting a local family business. What's not to love?
Have used Ovens Green for a couple of years. My rescue lab had previously been badly treated, but she has always loved going to the kennels. Dean and Karen have been very understanding and patient with her and so I have had no problems leaving her in their wonderful care. Would recommend.
I've used Ovens Green for the last 6 years and would highly recommend them. Karen and Dean were wonderful with our last dog (who use to cry when she had to leave the kennels!!) and have been great with our puppy. Both dogs have always been excited when they arrive knowing the fuss that will be made of them.
We have used Sara a few times now, to look in on our two Shetland Sheepdogs, put down their food and take them out for a short walk in order to relieve themselves. She is so reliable that we feel totally relaxed when we travel away occasionally for full days. She will also text us with an update so we feel doubly comfortable. She even did it on last XMas Day - excellent. We would strongly recommend her. Thanks.
Sara looked after the birds, deer and hedgehogs in my garden, when I went on holiday for a few weeks. What an absolute star she was. Sara came every other day to put fresh water out and food for all the wildlife. There were other dog sitters I contacted who lived closer to me, but they didn’t respond to my call to look after the wildlife. Sara even sent me photos of the birds and let me know the house was safe, whilst we were away. I feel Sara went above and beyond in many ways to ensure everyone had food and fresh water. And she is a lovely woman too. I highly recommend Sara and her services.
Sara did a great job looking after our dog and house whilst we were away for a week. Before we left she took the time to have a walk with us so that she knew the dog’s daily routine which was much appreciated. When we were away she communicated well, even sending some lovely photos of our dog having fun, which gave us peace of mind that he was in safe hands. I would definitely recommend Sara to anyone needing a similar service.
Having Sara look after our two dogs was perfect from start to finish. She met us and the dogs before the booking and all aspects of their care was covered. Whilst we were away she sent us regular pics and videos of the dogs. She was very tidy and respectful of everything in the house and the dogs adored her. From start to finish the whole booking was great. I would unhesitatingly recommend her and would definitely use her services again.
Sara is a fantastic dog walker/sitter. We have a rescue dog who's nervous with new people and she was really patient and attentive with him. We've had her do multiple dog walks now and booked her to dogsit for our wedding. Fantastic service and prices. Would 100% recommend!
Sara is extremely efficient and before her first time in charge took many notes regarding my two labradors and cat so that I felt very confident leaving her in charge of them whilst away. They were obviously very comfortable with her - which considering one of them is very nervous was a great bonus too. I can highly recommend Sara if you are looking for someone to look after your dogs (and cats!)
