Ruth
I had the most wonderful time taking care of sweet Betsy. She is so affectionate and goofy, and loves to nap the day away in the most photogenic positions. I would often find her in her basket in the garden, or curled up on a blanket on the couch. She loves soft pets, greeting you with a gentle nose bump if you put your face at her level, and will display the most wildly eccentric tail vibrations when she is excited at feeding time or to show off a skillfully foraged "present".

The Garden House is also a gem, with carefully crafted arched beams, wood joinery, a large burner, and cosy lofted bed. It's a little oasis amongst an abundant garden, right in the heart of the beautiful countryside and arts events of Dartington. Ruth and Bob are also wonderful and kind people, so all communication and logistics leading up to and during the sit felt very easeful.

I would highly recommend!

Karen
We both thoroughly enjoyed our time at Karen's place looking after Kona and Guinness! The house is stunning and a lovely place to spend your time, and the dogs were friendly and very well behaved - great companions!! Karen and Peter left us a thorough set of instructions, covering everything we needed to know, and they maintained a good level of contact while they were on their trip. During our time we had to provide some medical care for Kona, and again - Karen and Peter gave clear guidance on what we needed to do so we felt confident that we could provide the care he needed. Kona and Guinness are a wonderful pair of dogs, and we wouldn't hesitate to look after them again in the future!

Victoria
Victoria's house is beautiful and Snert and Fleur are the loveliest, most well behaved dogs you could hope to meet. Amazing area and lovely sit, 100% recommend and would love to sit for them again!

We enjoyed staying in Wendy and Mark’s lovely home and getting to know Titch. He is the most intelligent cat ever and obviously very grateful for being loved and well cared for. He showed us his appreciation throughout our stay. The fish too were easy care and we were most comfortable in a very secure property. Loved walking the lanes and canals and local pub meals. Thank you for selecting us to Housesit for you.

Emanuelle
Emanuelle’s home is modern and cosy, with beautiful views from high above. Her cats Amira and Sabrina were very well behaved and easy going. Amira will warm up to you but Sabrina likes to keep a good distance (but will sometimes approach close by). So many supermarkets nearby and a super convenient location to catch trams or walk to the city. It was a pleasure staying at Emanuelle’s, she is a really thoughtful host who explains everything 😊

This was a great experience! We loved the view and had both a peaceful and playful time with Watson. Jay and Erin are wonderful hosts and we felt right at home in their place. We would do it again!
