Wonderful location, wonderful pet parent, and wonderful pets. Yvonne was gracious and warm, taking us to a local restaurant and making dinner for us before leaving on her trip. She walked us through the process of feeding and caring for her bevy of furry and scaley housemates and stayed in contact with us throughout the sit. Poopah is a lovable, smart (and very strong) dog and we loved our morning and afternoon walks with him through the medieval hilltop village, olive groves and vineyards (don't forget to bring your hiking boots). The cats came in 5 flavors--from serious lap cat to skittish recent adoptee and they were all wonderful and we loved being a part of their daily lives in and around the garden. We'd definitely return if we have the opportunity.
Stella-Louis and Ludwig were super welcoming hosts, very kind and helpful! It was an absolutely rewarding, heartwarming and blissful time to look after Rubi and Fee and both of the love playing games, cuddling in the evenings and keeping the energy lovely in the house! I’ve learned a lot from our interactions! Definitely recommend! The neighbourhood was so lovely and sweet, everything is very close! Neighbours are friendly and there is everything for an excellent experience!
Moku, Yaku and Squidge were the best cats! We had so much fun looking after them, they were curious, social and very affectionate. Lisha & Luciano’s apartment was very comfortable (omg the bed was legit comfy) and Lisha was very friendly, generous and welcoming, encouraging us to make ourselves at home. Everything we needed was there, and the instructions was clear and simple to follow. We’d very happily petsit for them again anytime! ❤️
Spending 2 days with Hank was unforgettable! Hank is such a sweetheart, he loves to be by your side wherever you go. He enjoys taking a walk around the neighborhood, car rides, and exploring. He loves to be out and about. Hank is a snuggler so if your watching a movie he’ll happily cuddle up next to you even when it’s time for bed. We took Hank to some nearby waterfalls which was amazing! Within just a 30 minute drive away there are some bucket list waterfalls to explore such as the Bridal Veil Falls, Multnomah Falls, and many more. Another neat attraction is the Vista house which is a scenic viewpoint that overlooks the Columbia River Gorge and is a must see. Please keep in mind Hank is smaller so keeping the hikes a comfortable distance is key. Ali is so awesome and had great communication with us throughout the sit and answered any questions we had. We would be more than happy to sit for Ali again and get a chance to go on more adventures with Hank! If you get the opportunity to sit for Ali and spend time with this incredibly sweet pup, consider yourself very lucky!
We had a great time during this sit. Pedro and Turid are very nice people and explained everything about the house and the three adorable cats in detail, leaving small room for mistakes. Still, anytime that we needed to be in contact, the communication was easy and quick. The house is very comfortable and modern, with all the amenities. Also, we have to mention that Turid is a passionate gardener and it was a pleasure to care for such a beautiful garden. We had every meal outside, overlooking the vineyard, which is a statement of how enjoyable this time was. The three cats have different characters but all of them with the right amount of cuddliness and independence. We would love to come back anytime to sit the house and Luz, Karel and Poesie. Thank you for having us.
