We loved looking after Shar and Kim's home. They have a beautiful home in the hills of El Cerrito. With the most magnificent views of Oakland, Berkeley, San Franciso, The Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz. Shar and his family were so accommodating and invited us to stay for a few days extra before and after the sit if we needed to. The welcome guide had everything we needed to know about the home the furry babies and the area. About Us: My name is Cali. I am such a happy girl. I look like I am always smiling. I follow my humans all day long. I love my walks around the neighborhood. I get super excited when I realize that we are going for a walk. I am the defender of all and it's my responsibility to look after my little sister and older brother. I am super easy to look after. I love my humans and just want to be in whatever room my siblings and humans are in. I am Scotty. I am the cutie pie and a super good boy. I looove running and walking. I'm a speedster even though I am the smallest in the family. I recently got a new baby Labrador sister and we play every day. She is so much fun. The best is when my humans allow me on their bed or couch. I love being tickled. And last and not least there is Suki. I'm energetic, happy. I'm still a baby so I am still learning all the rules of the house. So you have to watch me all the time cause anything is possible. I am very funny. I know how to make my humans laugh. I play all day long. I love going to the puppy park and making new friends. Basically, my humans call me adorably. Thank you so much for lending us your car Shar. And thank you for making us feel so welcome in your home. We will be back in California next year and we would love to spend more time with y'all.
Mrs. Kathy and Mr. Roger were such a lovely couple and when you add sweet Roka and Cali, I can’t find better words to describe a better home. As soon as I met Mrs. Kathy I felt a delightful peace and knew once meeting the entire family that I would have a great time caring for sweet Roka and Cali. Pets: -RoKa is such a sweet girl. Obedient and loving. She is just a playful as she is calm. She really is such a good girl!😍🐕 Loved caring for her and having her company. -Cali is a sweet, shy kitty. When I first arrived I was told that Cali is a shy kitty and might shy away from meeting me and saying hello but as We we’re having a walkthrough about the home talking about responsibility and roles to be carried out ( Mrs. Katie and Roger are laid back and reasonable people), Cali came out to greet me! She then let me pet her and shortly went away. Throughout the stay she would come around and let me pet and rub her and she was SO sweet when she would come around but for the most part she would hide away😅😄. Location: Located in Oralando, Florida they are in such a thriving and fun city. However there home is a couple a minutes away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to attend any UCF games! For me this was a GREAT PLUS! It is definitely a peaceful oasis. ALL IN ALL THIS WAS A WONDERFUL SIT AND I WOULD LOVE TO SIT FOR Mrs. Kathy and Mr. Roger again!!! ☺️😁
Lovely sit!!! OMG—- Nala is the best sweetest dog! You can’t get enough of her! Mark and Rexana have a beautiful, quiet sanctuary that so comfortable. Mark is responsive to all questions. This is a sit I’d do again in a heartbeat!
My sit in Nashville with Kiwi was wonderful! Karen and Pete made me feel right at home, from the welcome meeting and throughout the sit. They graciously allowed me to have my “kids,” who live in Brentwood, over for dinner and an evening of games and laughter, which was a wonderful perk to staying close by. The house was beautiful and clean and stocked with things to make my stay a pleasant one. They even left me a gift card as a thank you! I actually ended up staying until the 12th to allow them an extra night at the beach, and me an extra day to enjoy Kiwi and their great screened-in porch! Kiwi was a sweetie and no trouble at all. She actually warmed up to me enough to even sleep with me for a while on the last night there. I would highly recommend this sit to anyone and hope to be able to sit with Kiwi again soon.
Julie and John were very kind and generous. Hop is simply a dream. He is very cuddly and sweet and loves to go for walks and rides. He is a little shy at first and his people's absence a bit disorienting to him, but once he realizes he is okay he opens up and is just so happy and fun. He is very well-mannered and calm (excepting a squirrel sighting so don't be fooled) and everyone in the neighborhood is enamored with him. I had such a great time exploring Bellingham with him and one can access miles and miles of beautiful trails as well as the lovely downtown area of Fairhaven walking right out the door. If you are an avid walker you could park the car and never turn it on until you left. Great location. Beautiful town and really the best part is the simply amazing Hop.
