My dogs hated to see Suzil go! They were a little despondent because she took such good care of them. Such a gracious, relaxed and thoughtful person! I hope we can have her back again and I know if Suzil visits you it will be a great experience.
Another amazing time having Dede watch our kittens! She is such a lovely person, our cats adore her, she keeps our house super clean, and we hope she’ll be able to sit for us again!!
Martha was a wonderful, warm, welcoming, and communicative host. The house was great to stay in and clean. Lucy is a sweet, elderly dog. It was the first time Lucy was left with housesitters and we didn't fully know what to expect. For the most part she was easy to care for and a mellow companion even with strangers. When anxious, she can get really worked up and it's hard to know how to calm her down. That said, Martha is really helpful in setting expectations and providing suggestions to keep Lucy comfortable.
We loved this house sit and taking care of Roxy. Rick & Chrys have a beautiful home in a lovely area of Worcester. It was a great neighborhood for walking and very close to grocery stores, restaurants, and anything else you might need. They sent us a document prior to the sit that was super detailed, clear, and helpful. This was a two month sit and they ensured the house was well-stocked and we had everything we needed. Onto the best part… Roxy! She was a bit shy the first couple days but once she warmed up she was the sweetest lap kitty. She provided great company and kept us so entertained with her antics. We really enjoyed this sit and would be more than happy to return anytime!
I had the pleasure of house sitting for Penina over Christmas, taking care of her lovely home and adorable pets. Samus and Tyger, the cats, were a joy to look after, and Snappy, the turtle, added a unique charm to the experience. I definitely needed the rest and this quiet sit provided me a chance for that. And I am very grateful. I genuinely miss the playful antics of Samus and Tyger, and spending time playing, petting, and cuddling with them made the entire stay enjoyable. Penina's home is not just a house; it's a warm and inviting space that reflects her personality. It was a wonderful experience, and if the dates align again, I look forward to the next opportunity to care for her home and cherished pets.
I very much enjoyed my experience sitting for Molly and Steve in their lovely home with the very wonderful Ruben. I felt very welcomed upon my arrival where Molly went over instructions, and I shared a delicious meal with Molly, Steve, and their travel friends. They are great people, and I enjoyed our conversations. I was very comfortable in their guest room, and everything was clean and orderly. The views from upstairs are such a treat, and I appreciated the close proximity to town, yet the neighborhood feels more rural. I was drawn to this sit, bc of the rave reviews of Ruben from other sitters, and they were true! Over the course of the sit I fell in love with Ruben more by the day, until I said a tearful goodbye. We took daily walks, and I enjoyed him being around me in the house and his presence on the bed with me each night. I wasn't sure I'd want him on the bed, but he was very quiet and sweet to wake up with, my little buddy. I highly recommend sitting here, and I would return if stars align again one day.
Looking after Jack and Jill was so pleasant! They were very nice and lovely! The cottage is well localed and ther are many beautiful walks around. Boz and Gavin were very kind and we really enjoyed taking care of their sweat dogs.
Lolli was the sweetest, gentlest most affectionate dog ever. We fell in love with her from day one. Laura & Mark's home was very comfortable and in a great neighborhood. We fell asleep each night listening to the babbling brook in the back yard and loved watching the birds that would come and wash in it each day. We kept in contact throughout the sit and they answered any questions we had immediately. There are so many fantastic hikes in and around Bend with stunning scenery to take Lolli on the we had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Shevlin Nature Park was our favorite with miles of trails that run through forests and along Tumalo Creek. There is also a large dog park with a dog beach where Lolli had such fun retrieving pine cones from the river. It was a joy to spend time with Lolli and Bend must be one of the classiest towns in Oregon.
