We had a lovely stay at Amy and Henry's house, looking after the lovely Asia, the two gerbils, Nibbles and Sunflower, and the six ducks. The house is light and airy, equipped with everything you could need for an enjoyable stay. The garden is a lovely space to sit and read, well cared for and safe for the dogs. We were lucky to be able to use the lovely veg that was growing in the garden and greenhouse and the ducks kept us well supplied with eggs. Amy and Henry had taken Lucca with them, and Tess and Asia bonded really well, enjoying days out and snuggles in the house. Shotesham All Saints is ideally positioned for exploring parts of Norfolk with which we were less familiar and Suffolk is not far away too. We recommend the Earsham St Cafe in Bungay and the wood-fired pizza van that pitches up at the Globe Inn every Friday. Communication was excellent and every aspect of the sit was thoroughly covered. A great sit and we would love to sit for Amy and Henry again.
We had such a wonderful time taking care of Bud and Fern. They are not the type of cats that will sit on your lap the whole time, but both Bud and Fern have their cuddle and playtime hours. In these moment you will get lots of love from them! Martina and John welcomed us in to their home with lovely pizza's and cocktails! We had a nice evening together. They have prepared an extensive welcome guide, so we knew exactly what to expect and also with al lot of wonderful tips of what places to visit. Their house is gorgeous and really clean. We were there in winter, but I expect that their garden is amazing in summertime. The location is ideal for exploring London city. Close enough to do everything by metro, but far enough to stay away frome the hussle and bussle that this wonderful city brings with it. Would definitely recommand this housesit!!!! Jan and Dave are the perfect home owners to house sit for. We could not have asked for anything more. They treated us royally, cooked some fantastic meals, showed us around the area and introduced us to their friends and neighbours and even gave us a welcome party. They always responded quickly to any questions we had and gave us a very detailed information package. The house is excellent, we even had the pleasure to use their newly remodeled kitchen which is a dream. The location is perfect, within walking distance to a lake for swimming, kayaking, etc and is close to many beaches on the ocean and nature reserves. We cannot forget "the boys'. That was the height of our experience to take care of not 1 but 2 Golden Retrievers! MacDougal and Fergus are 2 very special friends that will forever remain in our fond memories. They are full of love and were super easy to take care of. We will miss them terribly. I would highly recommend if anyone has the opportunity to house sit for these fine folks to take it right away, they will most certainly not regret it!! Best regards, Gary and Therese
Communication with Rebecca before the sit was brilliant. We chatted on the phone and she sent through a Welcome Pack which covered everything we needed to know. We met with Rebecca, Rob and Eric on the day of the sit to go through any further queries and were then left in their beautiful home to entertain and amuse Eric. He is absolutely adorable and loves his walkies. We enjoyed both beach walks and country trails and he was a gem when we stopped at a cafe for a libation, sitting so patiently. The kitchen has a beautiful big AGA which was a joy to cook on and the house was so comfortable for our short stay. With evening walks straight out of the house we were able to enjoy the beautiful (sometimes wet) walks and can highly recommend the pub up the road. Thank you Rebecca, Rob and Eric for a very memorable, enjoyable sit.

Kate’s place was really cosy and lovely to look after. She was quick with communications and Mable and Watson were so easy too look after. They were sweet and so cuddly - we didn’t want to leave. Would recommend!
