We had such a wonderful time at Katie and Jack’s home, we were so sad to leave as we had so much fun with their beautiful pets - Charlie, Jimba and Bella are such wonderful dogs, each with their own unique and sweet personalities, and Meong the cat was also an absolute delight ☺️ they were all very well behaved and they all loved cuddles! we hope we get to come back and sit for them again in the future.
This was a fabulous housesit and one I'd definitely recommend if you're wanting the companionship and affection of Jessy, the adorable and loving cockapoo. She loved her daily walks to the (gated and secure) dog park in the neighbouring graveyard, where she enjoyed the interaction with other four-legged friends, chasing squirrels, and playing fetch with her new pink ball! She was great company down on the stone beach in Deal, content with just sitting next to me watching the seagulls, and lapping up the atmosphere of the waves and the clouds as much as I did. After all the activity she was happy to follow me about indoors and sit wherever I did, snuggling next to me in the evenings. Pure delight! Not only was Jessy just the best pooch to sit for, Jenny's home (pure delight for the creative minded amongst us) was nothing short of lived-in luxury, a 20min walk to the seaside town of Deal and the most beautiful south facing roof terrace with amazing sunrises and sunsets, and a view of the church steeple within touching distance. Jenny was a great communicator throughout, relaxed and warmly welcoming. I'd have no hesitation in accepting another sit if ever needed and one I'd definitely recommend to others!
Mirka was very welcoming and her home was lovely and spotlessly clean. Sunshine is such a sweet cat who enjoys her outside time in the sunshine and evening snuggles. We had a wonderful time house sitting for Mirka.
A really enjoyable pet sit with two energetic dogs, and an indoor cat that kept to herself. Bree loved racing around the back lawn, Jamie proved to be a great cycling companion, Morticia was only heard playing at night. Most amicable and generous hosts, a comfortable home with old character in a friendly safe neighborhood.
Bella and Hunter are the sweetest dogs you could ever meet! I loved taking care of them and getting to experience what their personalities are like. They will follow you everywhere and ask you to pet them from time to time. They will also ask you to throw the ball so they can catch it, but they are pretty calm in general and will spend most of the time sleeping next to wherever you are.
We had a great time looking after Apollo and Lilu. Lilu is super easy and Apollo is really loving and great fun to look after. He has a lovely personality. The house is really nice, the owners left lots of instructions and advice which was really helpful. Highly recommended.
