Theresa's place is amazing! Well equipped, comfortable and aesthetic. Was a little nervous about the hot plate instead of stove but it worked like a dream. Albus is a very nice old man, easy to care for. I had the most magical time and I'm so grateful for the opportunity.
Perhaps our most memorable sit to date. Julie and Jason provided us a warm welcome into their beautiful and wonderfully appointed home in Canmore. Plenty of detailed instruction, regular and clear communication, and two wonderful furkids made this sit a joyful experience for us (Tex had joined the homeowners on their vacation). Percy and India are two lovely cockapoos, each with distinct personalities. We engaged and bonded with the two rather quickly. Percy has a near bottomless stomach, loves play and cuddles, and has an uncanny ability to communicate vocally. India was a little more reserved at first but warmed up quickly as we got to understand her ways, she loves her scratches and being treated like a classy lady. We enjoyed long walks in the neighbourhood looking for the elk that sometimes wander in, while taking in the breathtaking views of the Rockies wherever you look. Banff National Park and its many trails and sights are within a short drive away, and the dogs joined us on many adventures as we explored this beautiful part of Alberta. We highly recommend any opportunity you might have to sit for Julie and Jason, and we would love to return if the opportunity presented itself!
James and Kat were amazing hosts. Their place was great and a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the city. Playing with Dora and all the chickens was a great was to break up the day! We would easily sit for them again.
Had a lovely time looking after Mohito, Jagar and Whisky. They were very friendly and well behaved. The location was spectacular and I’ll miss them all. Would love to house sit them again if the opportunity arises. Thanks
I absolutely loved looking after Lynne’s darling little Jack Russel, Rod is such a sweet little character and we bonded instantly! Lynne’s home is lovely and peaceful set in the countryside. We had great communication and I sincerely hope I get to care for Rod in the future!
Ashley and Bryan were just the most welcoming, warm hosts with a delightful young family. Their house was gorgeous with a lovely front porch and 2 very comfy rocking chairs where we spent many an afternoon with their adorable and well behaved Toy poodle, " Buster". They also have a lovely backyard to relax and soak up the sun. Buster is one of the easiest pet that we have looked after. He is very affectionate and incredibly cute. He loves being around people and sees no reason why he shouldn't park himself on your lap and keep you company :) or jump on the end of the bed when we went to sleep. He always wanted to make sure he was being an attentive host. Communication between Ashley and us was ea,both before and during the sit. She was so organised, left us comprehensive instructions for the stay. Both Ashley and Bryan are very considerate people and invited us to join them for pizza the evening we arrived as well as ordering bagels the next morning for breakfast before they left. They also brought us a present when they returned from their trip. If we are in Denver or even if we are not, we would happily do a house/ pet sit for Ashley and Bryan so that we could look after Buster who won our hearts.
