Jeannine and Howard were the perfect House Sitters! Really relaxed friendly people who quickly won over my collie dog Willow. We managed to spend a little time together when they arrived and the day they left. We found we had lots of shared interests and I am now able to enjoy Howard's Youlgrave poetry written whilst they were here. People in the village are still asking about them and how they are. Also I am still finding things they fixed in the house - and a bottle of wine in the fridge. I hope to meet up with them again in the Autumn.

This was Jeanie's first pet-sit, but you wouldn't have known. When we arrived at Elm cottage, Jeanie had obviously gone to much trouble to provide detailed notes for the house and all the amenities nearby, even having 'post-it' notes on all the kitchen and utility room cupboards and drawers explaning the contents, which made settling in and finding things much easier. The house is spacious and beautiful and the largest bedroom we have encountered with king size bed, plenty of drawer space and that rare luxury - hanging space for clothes. the en-sute was huge with choice of a large shower or bath (again rare). The huge garden was truly beautiful and a joy to wander round. Of course icing on the top was little Poppy. She is an absolute charmer and such fun to be with - so obedient and affectionate and she has obviously been exceptionally well trained by Jeanie. She loves people and will quickly bond with you, she loves her walks and is great off the lead, rarely out of sight and with excellent recall. There are walks directly from the house and if you prefer to explore further afield, Poppy loves car travel and will hop into your car without being asked. We absolutely love this sit and we will miss Poppy and hope to return some day. Thank you Jeanie for providing such a lovely setting for our sit. Janet and Victor
