Moose is extraordinarily well trained and I quickly fell for his charms! For such a big dog, he is mellow and companionable, yet playful. Going to his favorite off leash dog beach was our favorite — he’s great with other dogs. We also enjoyed walking in the neighborhood and other adventures including hanging at a cafe where he elicited pats and praise from everyone, such a lovebug. Moose is independent and calm enough to allow solo side trips but honestly it was more fun with him! Moose’s care routine is easy. Erin and Kennedy were most welcoming, having me arrive the evening before their am departure so I had time to settle in and ask questions. The house has tremendous views and is very comfortable…it’s what you hope for in a sit, like an airbnb you’d want with a bonus amazing furry friend. Erin was generous in making sure I had a great vacation too including use of her car and being in communication during the stay. I love Whidbey and Freeland is convenient to shopping, beaches and forest romps…or just staying in and watching the eagles. I’m now a Bernedoodle fan!
Wow, what a sit. This is becoming a bit of a habit with us saying 'best sit ever' but the bar just keeps getting higher, this was THE BEST SIT EVER. Number 1 - the boys. Dusty, Dizzee and Goofy are gentle, loving, generous, funny, wonderful dogs who are an absolute breeze to be with and look after. It was an absolute delight to have been able to spend time with them. The house is so, so comfortable too, everything you might need is there. Lovely garden for daytime runarounds (us and the dogs) and then there are fabulous walks really close by (you walk the dogs on the farm, off lead, no problems). Flo and Mike are brilliant, really welcoming with lots of information and very responsive to messages or questions, and really kind and generous too. We just cannot say enough lovely things about this sit, we would spend time there again for sure, zero doubt about that. Thank you so much for trusting us with your home and the marvellous Dusty, Dizzee and Goofy.
Eva and John are warm, friendly, vibrant and generous people and house-sitting for them is an absolute joy - so much of a joy I've taken care of their home twice in the last last 18 months and I would be there anytime they needed me. Andover is a special town, and with John and Eva's place so close to the train station, you have access to anywhere you want to go in England really but you don't have to go far to experience other unique and interesting places. And if you have a car, or love to ride the push bike like I do (Eva happily loaned me her bike) there is some wonderful countryside to explore as well. I highly recommend house sitting for Eva and John, you'll have a great time, you'll feel very comfortable and welcome and you'll want to go back. Pet sitting for Skye & Tom was an absolute delight! Their two dogs, Baby & Cooper, were not only sweet and lovable but incredibly well-behaved. It was evident that they received top-notch care and attention from their owners. The home was wonderfully clean and comfortable. Skye went above and beyond, taking the time to thoroughly explain everything we needed to know about caring for Baby & Cooper, and leaving helpful notes for reference. Overall, it was a pleasure to spend time with such wonderful pets in such a welcoming environment. I would highly recommend pet sitting for Skye & Tom to anyone looking for a rewarding experience with furry friends!
It was a pleasure looking after Yugen and Zuri, they have big personalities and we had lots of fun playing and cuddling with them. They are large and very strong so they need a confident handler for walks. Tatyana and Pavel made sure we were comfortable with the dogs and in their home. Their home is in a beautiful countryside area of Portugal and we enjoyed some lovely walks with the dogs.
You won't find an owner that communicates better than Ashley! She made things so easy! And her pups are absolute dolls! It was a pleasure and I hope I get the chance to sit for her again the next time I'm in the area!
