This was such an amazing sit! The house is incredible, very comfortable, and perfectly located close to the downtown area. Although our schedules didn’t align to meet, I was able to talk to Octavia early on and she was very communicative, warm, and kind throughout the sit. She answered all my questions on her two adorable pups. Rumble and Tiki are quite the pair! I was greeted with puppy kisses and tushy shakes, which is the best greeting when you’re walking into an unknown home. They were so much fun to watch over the weekend too and have such different personalities—Tiki was more reserved at first and Rumble was gushing with affection. By the end though, Tiki was following me around like a little shadow and loving up on me. Rumble loves belly rubs and Tiki loves her bum scratched. Both love to play with each other and they both LOVE to snuggle up in bed. They were able to find just the right nook around my body to curl up on. Walking them was easy and they know their routine and favorite beach spot. Everyone that passed us during our walks commented on ‘how cute’ they are and we had no issues with other dogs, kids, or people. I would recommend this sit to anyone and look forward to coming back later this year. Nantucket is a magical island and this sit couldn’t have been more perfect too.
Beautiful home in a lovely country setting, with a very nice guest suite. We were very comfortable and would not hesitate to sit the 2 fur babies ,who enjoyed a lot of affection plus 4 chickens ( who supplied us with fresh eggs daily )again if we are in the UK
Calliope is a super-sweet, snuggly kitty who was very easy to care for. Jille is so nice, and I really enjoyed exploring a San Francisco neighborhood I’d never been in before. Lots of great bars, cafes, and restaurant options. Plus a fun hike up Bernal Hill for the best view in the city!
We enjoyed meeting Morna first through Skype and then we really loved meeting her in person, Morna is a very open minded person, very caring about animals, about life and people. I arrived one day before, she offered me the first night to stay, she went to pick me up at the bus station, she bought for me fruits and cookies, she is a very caring person. Her house in Hua Hin is very well located, about 10-15 minutes with her scooter to the centre of Hua Hin. Many little shops once you step out of the condo...wet market, coffee shops, little restaurant, hair dresser and all what you need. Morna has 2 beds and both of them very comfortable to sleep in. There is also 2 machines for sport for running and steps. Very convenient and she has all the props you need to practice yoga too! There is a hot shower you can use and a bath too! She has a TV too but we did not use it as we don't watch TV and plus it is all in Thai. Her internet speed was very good. No problem at all. And the tip top for us was that she has a blender and a fantastic juicer! So if you are into soups, raw food and veganism as Morna is, then you will be very happy using these 2 kitchen tools. Otherwise for cooking utensils, the kitchen has the minimum for cooking. For us it was easy because we use only her wok and bought cooked rice at the market. She has a very easy washing machine which is very easy to use. She has other things to use in her kitchen which we did not use. Her animals are very easy to take care of: Jack the black cat comes and goes as he wants, for us he was the king and boss of the house, Jack has a very beautiful character! Sometimes he slept with us which we did not mind at all. Another cat is Tommy, the eldest one, whitish colour. We loved Tommy too and loved seeing them every morning kissing and cleaning session with Jack and both playing, very beautiful to see. Tommy sleeps most of the day and love to be cuddled! The other animals are 2 dogs, Bear the little one and Coco the eldest one too. Coco is a bit grumpy, you need to give her love and cuddles every day than she is your best friend with no problem. You need to watch out for Coco because has tendency to eat the food of Bear. Bear is a very easy outgoing dog and very active, you need to play a lot with Bear a bit in the morning before you go off and when you come back from your day and as well love her and cuddled her. Twice a day, you need to walk for toilet Bear and Coco, when you walked make sure you take the wooden stick with you as they are many dogs around but otherwise no problem. We loved this sitting and we look forward to pet and house sit again for Morna. During the all stay, Morna was available for us through whatsapp messaging. We recommend 5 thumbs Morna house sit!
I had a wonderful experience sitting for Jessica!! Her home is lovely and very welcoming, I felt at home at once. The house has everything you need to be comfortable, including a well-stocked kitchen. The back porch was great for sitting outside in the evenings. And her home is centrally located to anything you’d want to visit while in Greenville! Jessica was very easy to communicate with prior to and during my stay, and was available whenever needed. She was also great to share some of her favorite spots around town (be sure to check out The Swamp Rabbit Cafe, just down the road!) The kitties, Loeki & Moppie, are sweet and very easygoing. They were a breeze to care for and were fun to spend time with. They were always eager for meal time, and always good eaters! And they loved coming out on the porch when the weather cooled. Overall, I had a fantastic sit and would love to come back to Greenville and sit for Jessica again.
It was an absolute pleasure looking after Jett, Luna, and the fish at Valerie’s house. Valerie and her family were warm, welcoming, easy to communicate with, and left excellent instructions. The kittens were fun, playful, and cuddly and we had a blast spending time in Santa Cruz. We definitely recommend this sit and would do it again if given the opportunity!
