I spent a very pleasant few days in leafy Nether Edge with Spanky and Mab. It's a nice area to walk around because of all the trees, the views from the allotments and the independent shops and eateries around the corner. Bus stops too. Also nearby is Abbeydale Road with more shops, bars and restaurants. I spoke to Phil over the phone beforehand re the sit and care for Spanky, who was recovering from an accident. He sent over a pdf of information for the sit. Phil was friendly and welcoming and communication continued to be good throughout the sit. The house was clean and comfortable. The cats were lovely and made no demands; Spanky ate his medicine on his food with no problem. I couldn't work out who was the shyer or more sociable of the two as I would retire with one cat on my bed and wake up to the other one...Mab was more receptive to strokes. Both are quite independent and had their favourite places to hang out - Mab usually in the garden and Spanky asleep somewhere.
This was a wonderful sit. Tara is absolutely great with providing lots of resources and information on the guide as well as being available through text. The place itself is a beautiful and comfortable stay with beach access by foot! Of course the real highlight of the sit is Freddie Mercury and Major Tom. They were so affectionate and fun to play with, even with such a short time to get to know each other. I highly recommend this sit for anyone but if I'm available I hope to be picked instead :-)

Rosie is super nice and very easy to communicate with. Her place is so lovely and Carl is a very chill and happy Cat. I had an amazing time in Didsbury and would love to go back soon
Chloe was very communicative! Poppy and Milo were perfect if you love lots of cuddles. Very easy to take care of and the house is perfect if you want some hill country vibes to it. Easy access to DT. I couldn’t recommend this sit more. Very nice girl and very sweet cats◡̈
It was such a pleasure to stay at Suzy&Ross house. The house is awesome, perfectly clean and well located : not in the city center but by the beach! Woody is a lovely dog; the perfect buddy to discover the neighbourhood and to enjoy the beach. Suzy and Ross were always available to answer our questions. We actually met them before their departure and they gave us clear instructions. We totally recommend it, it was lovely to sit their home and dog!
