We feel very lucky to have been able to look after Kim's five kitties in Astoria. Firstly, Kim is such a gracious and generous lady, who clearly cares so much for her pets. Secondly, her kitties (The Fab 5) were a pleasure to look after. Each one has their own little personality and they provided us with loads of entertainment. Kim was great to communicate with and left us a really comprehensive manual covering all we needed to know to be able to look after her furry family. Her apartment in Astoria is lovely and is in a great neighbourhood with shops, restaurants and services all just a 5 min walk away. Plus the subway and busses are too, almost at the door giving fast and easy access to Manhattan. We would absolutely love to look after Kim's fur babies and her apartment next time we're in New York.
This was an amazing sit in a beautiful part of the country. Two very loveable dogs, one mature and dignified, the other still very much a lively pup, but both great company, well behaved and loving. John was very welcoming, his house and garden both fantastic - I feel very privileged to have shared them for a short time, John was also good enough to drive me to my next destination, definitely above and beyond! Absolutely no hesitation in recommending this sit and would live to be asked back!

A nice meeting with the owner and the animals. Everything is going wonderfully well. The animals are very wise. It was a real pleasure to take care of the horses, go for walks with the dogs, see the chickens free in the garden, and the geese are funny and kind. I would like to thank the owner very much for the welcome, in a relaxing place.
Our stay at Katie's house was idyllic. They have a lovely home surrounded by gardens that are beautifully landscaped. The foxglove were in full bloom among many other flowers. We were able to see many birds. Hummingbirds visited daily. The garden had various veggies and fresh strawberries ( we got lucky!). They are very close to a walking / biking trail that can take you directly into Port Townsend. Very convenient! Grits and Gumbo are very easy going cats. They enjoy being petted and sitting in your lap. Kate has nice set up for them so they can get some outside fresh air and watch the birds. One is able to explore the surroundings while sitting for the cats. Whale watching, visiting Whidbey island, and seeing the eastern part of Olympic National Park were all accomplished during our stay. Kate has a full kitchen so if you like to cook, no problem. Bedroom and bathroom comfortable and roomy. Communication with the hosts was easy. I would recommend them without hesitation. Port Townsend is a historic town worth visiting and exploring eateries and shops. Thank you for allowing us to watch Grits and Gumbo!
Fred and Karen are such lovely human beings!! They made my Stay as easy as possible and took great care of me! Lucy is an angel and is easy to care for. She has a good amount of energy so be ready to play fetch and go on some long walks!! I really loved my stay here. Thank you y’all!!
