Alina is absolutely amazing! I’m pretty sure her dog taught my puppy how to be a better dog. They went on SO many adventures, sent TONS of pics, and kept us posted as unexpected things arose. We already have plans to get together again with this fantastic pair. I wish they lived in town so we could spend more time with our new friends!
Communication with Kathy was brilliant, very easy. We arrived the night before, and we had a lovely few hours with Chris & Kathy before they left the next day. Their home is very comfortable, and we really enjoyed the garden to sit out in, plus home grown vegetables. Felicity and Purdie are very sweet cats to care for , and sat near or with us most evenings. The fish were very entertaining! and they seem to follow your voice as you walk round the pond ! Also Kathy & Chris' neighbours are all very helpful and friendly.. There is a lot to explore from this sit, and we used the £2 bus fare ! to Leeds and Wakefield, both very nearby. We also visited Halifax Piece Hall, Harrogate, Chesterfield, Beverley and Hull. A perfect sit, thank you Kathy & Chris..
We absolutely loved are time at this sit! The house was beautiful and in such a lovely location. Olive and Meg were just amazing! Both so very very sweet, Meg is a very gentle and cuddly dog and Olive is full of energy and loves attention. Angela and Simon were so very welcoming and made us feel right at home. Great sit, would definitely recommend.
Greg and Jess were so well organized with instructions and disinfecting surfaces etc before my arrival. Zoey is a quiet, affectionate cat who loves to be groomed. When she uses the scratch pad she makes eye contact with you, preparing herself to receive a treat! Commercial Drive is a short walk away and there are lots of shops and restaurants. The bed is exceptionally comfortable. I recommend this sit, for sure.
We enjoyed our time with sweet Molly in Natick, Massachusetts. Richard & Kate fed us a delicious meal, made us feel welcome in their lovely home and gave us thorough instructions regarding the care of Molly & their place. The house is comfortable, and their neighborhood quiet and safe. They have woods out their back door, and we found some excellent places for nearby walks; our favorite was Mass Audubon's Broadmore Wildlife Trails. Molly took a day to warm up to us, but then we became good buddies! She was easy to care for & a fun girl to spend time with! We visited Concord where we toured Louisa May Alcott's home, visited Minute Man National HIstorical Park, Sleepy Hollow Cemetery & downtown Concord. We also enjoyed many area walks at locations suggested by Richard & Kate. We would enjoy doing this housesit again and recommend it to others. Thank you Richard & Kate!
It was a real pleasure to house sit for Jaci and look after Jetson. Jaci was super friendly showed me around the area & where the local amenities were located. The house is super cozy, in a really lovely residential area but has so many handy stores around and decent transport links. Jaci was also super hospitable and made me feel like I was at a friends home rather than that of a stranger! Jetson is one of the warmest and friendliest cats I’ve ever met he is more like a dog in the sense he’s super affectionate, love his cuddles & isn’t shy or timid when meeting someone new. He is very low maintenance and is such a breeze to look after! I would definitely recommend Jaci & Jetson I couldn’t think of a better duo for my first housesit with TrustedHousesitters!!!
We really enjoyed staying in Jane's lovely house despite a storm and a lengthy power cut! Pixie and Timmy are gorgeous and Timmy especially kept us on our toes with her puppy mischief. Lots of lovely walks close by, we particularly enjoyed the beach excursions. The only thing we could possibly complain about was the weather!
