Andrea did an awesome job caring for our cat and home, including our high maintenance pool! She communicated well both before and during the sit giving us frequent updates and photos to help ease our minds and everything was just as we left it upon our return. Keylin sat at my house to take care of my dog Krish for three weeks. She was good with her communication, letting me know in advance her travel plans, and if I needed to arrange anything required at home as well as arrival/departure timings etc. She stayed with me for a couple of nights before the sit began and in that time she came across as patient and firm with Krish. Krish put on some weight in that period, so she definitely fed him correctly. There was one time where she left some food on the counter unsupervised, which Krish ate, and she was upfront in communicating that this happened and I appreciate her honesty. As feedback, I'd recommend she be a bit more tidy in leaving the house as it was, there were a few unwashed pots and pans left when I came back.
If you considering this home with these wonderful well behaved furry friends....do not hesitate. Felt very welcomed in this beautifully located home. Only spent one night but quickly became attached to Kaya and Watson. Easy to walk and great in the vehicle. The house was clean, the bed extremely comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Would definetely come back in a heartbeat. Lovely, lovely people.
A 5 star sit from beginning to end. A truly charming family. Mushroom the cat was a joy to care for and the home and grounds are simply fabulous. We had the absolute pleasure of house sitting for Zoe and Nick this summer in the stunning Ribble Valley, and it was a truly unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed into their beautiful grade two listed home, which is full of character and history. The house itself is spacious, with many cozy bedrooms, a practical kitchen, a dining room, and a sitting room with a log burner—perfect for relaxing in the evenings. The English gardens are just as impressive, providing a peaceful retreat in a picturesque setting, although only 3 miles from Preston centre, which is well worth exploring for its arts, heritage and culture. We helped ourselves to plums, damsons, raspberries, salad and fresh eggs every day. What a treat! Zoe and Nick were incredibly generous and thoughtful hosts. They provided clear, detailed instructions and were always available if we had any questions. Their lovely cat, Mushroom, was a joy to care for, and the 10 chickens and a cockrel added a fun and rewarding routine to our stay. We also appreciated the opportunity to explore the surrounding countryside—truly a gorgeous part of the world. A birdwatcher's paradise can be found in the Ribble estuary, a short walk from the doorstep. Overall, Zoe and Nick and their 3 kind and thoughtful children made our house-sitting experience seamless and enjoyable. Their warmth and kindness shone through in every interaction, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our summer holidays. We would gladly sit for them again in the future and highly recommend this opportunity to others!
Sitting for the Packs was an absolute delight. We fell in love with their 7 sweet kitties who were all a treat to be with - each such individual personalities. They were loving and affectionate and vied for time on our laps each night. The routine was very easy to follow and these sweet cats warmed up to us pretty quickly, making their care easy and enjoyable. There are also two longhorns on the property, who required very minimal care, but were such a treat to see roaming the property. Lastly, two big tanks of fish complete the pet community at this lovely ranch. This lovely home is situated in a beautiful country setting surrounded by the Central Texas hills. Every modern convenience is available in this very attractively appointed home, which also includes a beautiful pool, hot tub, and outdoor kitchen. We loved being out in this relaxing, picturesque location which is very conveniently located only 1/2 hour from Austin and only 15 minutes from two smaller towns for groceries, restaurants, shopping. Linda and John are warm and welcoming and truly made us feel at home immediately. We emailed frequently during their trip and shared photos of their trip and the kitties' activity while they were away. We would welcome the chance to sit for them again.
We just finished a wonderful sit in Nashville with Ruby and Poppy! Clint was so gracious on our arrival and spent quality time showing us his beautiful home. The pool house was a wonderful retreat and was even stocked with basics and lots of refreshments for our use. We were very comfortable communicating with Clint throughout the stay with his laid back style. Ruby has the most beautiful brown eyes and loved to “talk” to us. Poppy is a ball of energy who emanates joy to all around. In addition, we were so fortunate to experience beautiful weather and all the spring blossoms in full bloom during our stay. All in all, a 5 star plus experience
Nicole and Andrew are very nice and explained me about the area. Their flat is also very nice and now comes the best part: The 3 kitties are really amazing, I already miss them. They loved cuddles and playing. Very cute and easygoing. I would definitely sit again for you :) thank you.
Stephanie and Andrew were fantastic at communication and very friendly. We loved staying at their home and hanging with their dogs. They had a nice guest room and left some towels for us to use which was great. House was clean and very comfortable/cozy. Their dogs were the sweetest! Meushi was a little shy at first but she warmed up fast and became a huge cuddle bug. They were very easy dogs to watch. Bubbles was warm instantly and loves the pets. They also have a nice backyard to play in!
