Rae approached me to sit for Winnie and I’m so glad I accepted. A lovely sit with adorable Winnie in their lovely home and not forgetting Rae’s daughter Bella who is a talented and knowledgeable horse rider. I was made very welcome by all. It was Winnie’s first time being left with a stranger she was a bit unsure, but given time and a visit to my son who Winnie instantly fell in love with she settled. There are so many walks to choose, our favourite Healey Dell amazing! Winnie is such fun, morning games of chase, ball fetching, cuddles on the sofa, tug of war, and a fantastic travelling exploring companion. I highly recommend this sit, friendly, welcoming and very generous. Thanks Rae, Bella and of course Winnie
This is a lovely and highly recommended sit. Alison and Alasdair are great hosts who kindly invited us over the evening before as they were leaving very early in the morning, and we thoroughly enjoyed a delicious meal with wine and good conversation. Their home is lovely with great views and our accommodation had a very comfortable bed, with a great kitchen that I loved cooking in. Bute is a lovely Island, easily accessible, and also if you want to venture further there is a short (5min) ferry from the North of the Island to mainland Argyll where you can see more of the beautiful Scottish scenery, and the dogs are excellent travellers and happily settle down in the back seat. For us the highlight was looking after Otto and Max. We lost our hearts to these dogs and had great outings and fun. They are quite different, Otto being younger has lots of energy and on the beach will fetch a stick as long as you want to keep throwing it. Max is more sedate and just loves spending time with you having a tummy rub as long as you want to keep doing it. I guarantee you will enjoy this sit. Alasdair I know is looking for sitters at Easter 2022 and we would have jumped at it but unfortunately the dates clash with a prior arrangement, but we certainly hope to be back.
Brooke was amazing with us. She welcomed us with a welcome pack 🥰 Charlie is a sweetheart, she was a bit afraid of sounds and walked behind us, but she was always very behaved and happy. The apartment is a little far from Stuttgart city center but is an a amazing complex with supermarket, bar, pool, restaurant. And the most amazing part for us was the florest and fields around the complex, the it’s perfect to walk with the dogs and see nature (we saw rabbits in the fields).
Our experience with Cece and Reaux at Laura and John's place was ideal. Prior to our stay, it was very easy to communicate with Laura and John. They were very flexible with our time of arrival and gave us all the information we needed to know. Cece and Reaux are the perfect dogs to sit. They are well educated and happy dogs. They love to run and rest in the big yard where they live. Cece is a calm and tranquil dog. She takes her time in everything she does and she enjoyed affection. Reaux is very energetic and playful. She loves to be pet. Both of them were very easy and fun to walk! Laura and John's place was charming. It had everything we needed and more. This was a fantastic experience.
