I recently had the pleasure of looking after Charlie while for Nicole and Daniel were away, and we had a great time together! Charlie is an absolute sweetheart, full of boundless energy and a love for attention. We had a blast exploring the neighborhood together, going on long walks, playing fetch, and even enjoying some beach time. He's a joy to be around. Nicole and Daniel's home is nothing short of gorgeous, and its waterfront location is truly breathtaking. Situated along the Manly to Spit walk, their house is perfect coastal walks and swimming at the many beaches nearby. It's also located very close to shops and public transport, making it easy to get around. Nicole was an excellent communicator throughout my stay, always available if I needed anything. She made me feel right at home, and has the most warm and welcoming nature. I want to express my heartfelt thanks to Nicole and Daniel for entrusting me with the care of Charlie and their beautiful home. It was an experience I'll always treasure, and I hope to have the opportunity to house-sit for them again in the future! :)
This was a wee gem of a housesit, and one definitely to recommend. I was met at the door by gorgeous Barley with her very waggy tail, followed by Max and Sarah-Jane - son and partner - who gave me a very thorough briefing of Barley’s routine and what was where. Barley was a treat to look after, very chilled, well behaved and a great guide on our walks - no maps needed - just follow Barley’s nose! Cool pet parent, kitty, and neighborhood. Cali was a bit shy at first and hid. Be patient and she’ll transform into the sweetest love bug who adores the brush and has the cutest meows! Great communication with Pascale, she’s wonderful. She has friendly neighbors with cute dogs. I definitely fell in love with Philadelphia and will be back! :)
We received a very warm welcome from Julia and Steve. The house was just lovely, and we had a spacious and very comfortable bedroom and en suite. It was all spotless and worked like clockwork. Their attention to detail was great and everything was laid out clearly. We lust loved Brian and Tattie who were very affectionate and totally obedient. We had Julia's Mum on hand and she dealt with the horses and geese whilst we very much enjoyed the bantams and hens, and of course their eggs! The location was a dream with walking from the door into the Forest, just amazing. We were so grateful that despite the uncertain times (just before lockdown) we were able to stay in Grove House. We would love to go back anytime and cannot recommend this sit more highly. Thank you Julia and Steve for letting us share your home and animals, and we very much enjoyed meeting you and your Mum. It was very hard leaving.
Milo is an absolute angel, he is so relaxed and well behaved, he’s the perfect dog. Alan’s home is very well located near town and has some beautiful walks nearby, where Milo can run off the lead. The view of Totnes from the garden is stunning. Thank you Alan for a great stay.
I loved hanging out with Smoke! He’s so sweet and very easy to care for. Erin is a lovely host and easy to connect with + left great instructions. You can’t find a better location in Brooklyn and the apartment is comfortable and beautifully decorated. 100% would sit for Erin/Smoke again ☺️
