Bonsai is an energetic and affectionate boi. He likes his daily walks and would ask to go out in the yard. Ingrid has many toys and balls for him, as well as different kind of treats. She loves Bonsai like her own child. Bonsai had some barking issues but it got progressively better while I looked after him. Most of the time you just have to ignore the barking and show him love. Ingrid is super nice and communicates really well. She left me a homemade blanket as a gift. She would promptly answer all your questions regarding Bonsai and her home. Her place has a convenient trail and ball park within walking distance. That’s where I would take Bonsai out for his daily walk. Overall it’s a great experience with Ingrid and Bonsai.
We enjoyed almost a month with the beautiful Molly and Tilly in Howard and Deborah’s new luxury home. Everything about our stay was perfect and we enjoyed the long walks with the well behaved Tilly and the shorter ones with lovely Molly. Howard and Deborah are the nicest people you could imagine and if you have the opportunity to sit for them you are very lucky indeed.
Sally and Barry are wonderful hosts they treated us like old friends from the very beginning. Sally even provided us with some food for breakfast and the apartment was very clean and well prepeared for us. Barry gave us a ride to the airport on our way back. They are very caring people! The two beautiful Furbabies: Twix and Liquorice are well-behaved, kind and affectionate. They stole our hearts the minute we met them. We had fun time playing with them in the garden, they love running and chasing the ball and even play tug-of-war. When it is their bed time, they go to sleep easily, and sleep 12 hours, which is also very unique. We highly recommend this sit to everyone, and hope to revisit Sally and her family in the future.
I thoroughly enjoyed sitting for Julian and his wife LuLu. They were very welcoming and easy to communicate with. The house was in a very central and cool neighborhood. One of my favorite features was the hammock in the living room it's a great added touch :) There were several grocery stores in the vicinity as well as numerous good food options, Cafes and fruit markets. Their cat, Mr. Finn, was one of the most loving and friendly I have seen. He loved to climb up on your chest and is also a big fan of face and nose rubs I came to find out. My overall stay was excellent and I would recommend the sit to others that want to experience some Bogota adventures. It would be my pleasure to sit for them in the future and look forward to other opportunities that might come up. Doug
My stay at Renata and Roberto's house was excellent. The dogs are very friendly and I had no problem with them. Everything was very well organized before my arrival and they were very attentive on the days I was in the city indicating me places. The house spotless, clean, organized. It was a wonderful experience. I recommend with my eyes closed.
It was a beautiful experience to take care of Ruby and meet Lucy, Henari and Pearl! We absolutely loved to be with Ruby! She had been such a good girl. We were in love with her, our big tennis balls fan! We love her kindness all the time being at our side. There is always time to play and swim, except when she lays down in any shadow at the park seeking for a time just by herself and her big tong! The house is comfortable, completely fully equipped and has everything to spend a good time there. The neighborhood is very nice too. There is a good park in a 5 minutes walk and there is the Thames in a 15 minutes walking, where Ruby loves to swim. There are also good coffee shops and markets near by. Lucy and Henari welcomed us very well and gave pretty clear instructions. Their daughter, Pearl, made us a very good Oreo pudim! They absolutely made us fell very well at their home. We had great conversations, they were very supportive 100% of the time and we also loved to send them pictures and videos to tell how Ruby was doing. We are grateful to have met you all and hope to see you guys again! Meanwhile, we strongly recommend it to any other sitter: enjoy Ruby’s company and kindness. It is priceless!

Ollie, adores Bob, he’s always very excited when the van pulls up. Bob, is amazing with Ollie, and he has got much better with his recall since going out with Bob. The daily videos are a favourite, it’s so great to be able to see all the doggy’s running and playing. Ollie, has also made some amazing friends on his walks and even exchanges Christmas cards, the quality of care provided is excellent I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend ‘Doggy days of Berkeley’ .
Bob has been fantastic feeding our cat over Christmas and New year, he's very professional and reassuring and goes above and beyond with last minute bookings too. Bob spends the whole time as stated and is happy to give medication and care routines where needed. Great value for money, great communication and a friendly trustworthy person to have around your animals and in the house. Our dog has been absolutely loving his walks with Bob and the gang. My dog Nora loves Bob and can’t wait for her walks with him. The group walks have helped to socialise with other dogs. She also walks beautifully on lead for bob, but not for me. Bob works with Margaret who covers overnight dog care, it is amazing to go on holiday and know Nora is happy loved and well cared for while I’m away.
Bob has been walking our beloved family dogs for many years. He is incredibly caring, trustworthy and reliable. Bob provides an excellent service. He is reliable and trustworthy and flexible, helping out with sometimes last minute difficult work schedules. Our dogs love going out with Bob and always come back for a long sleep, quite happy and content. I would highly recommend.
We’ve used Bob and Doggy Days since our pup was a pup (nearly 6 years ago). Barkley the Sausage adores Bob and loves going on the group walks. Bob provided a professional dog walking service for my dog for three years until I was able to retire. She was so happy in his care that she still squeals with delight and rushes to meet him when we bump into him out and about. Dogs love their walks with him and meeting up with their doggy pals. My dog, Dolly, has stayed with Irene and Peter three times now. They clearly both love dogs and I am confident that they look after her well. They asked lots of questions about Dolly’s needs and routines so they could give her the best experience. Dolly was so excited to see Peter at the start of her most recent stay, and wasn’t bothered about me leaving, which is very reassuring. The most recent stay was for 13 nights, which is the longest I have ever left her and they regularly sent me videos and photos. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants their dog cared for in a home environment.
We would highly recommend Peter and Irene to anyone needing holiday boarding and walking for their dogs. Our 2 dogs, Mabel and George recently stayed with them for 2 weeks and had a wonderful time. It was so reassuring to know they were being so well looked after, we could relax and enjoy our holiday. We received daily videos of the 2 of them on walks and enjoying time at home and also having fun with other daycare dogs. Peter and Irene spent time listening to everything we wanted them to know about our dogs and took everything on board regarding their individual needs, a fantastic experience and Mabel and George seem quite sad to be back home in their normal routine!
I was lucky enough to find Berkley Home Boarding & Pet Care a few months ago. I have a 4 year old cockapoo that was born during the Covid lockdown. He is very shy and needs lots of reassurance and love. Pre-Covid my husband and I had travelled extensively. We had a Yorkshire terrier called Archie who has been looked after for 16 years by a lovely lady who retired during Covid. My older dog sadly passed away in September 23. We had decided to resume our holidays but were really worried about who would look after Buster during our trips away. I looked at many options for 6 months until I found Irene and Peter. From the initial first call with Peter and then my first visit to discuss Buster and his needs I knew I had found the right people to look after Buster and to love him as we do. Buster did 2 day and over night visits to ensure he was ok and to make sure Irene and Peter were happy to look after him. The relationships built quickly and then we left Buster for two weeks whilst we went on a holiday. Both my husband and myself were worried as we set off for our trip. Irene and Peter are thorough in finding out about your dog and keep notes on their daily routines. A visit to the vet was needed and this was organised by Peter. We received videos and photographs daily and it was clear for us to see Buster had settled and was having fun on his daily walks. It was also good for Buster to spend time with other dogs that Irene and Peter were looking after in the day. In todays world it is hard to find many people who take a pride in their work and who want to deliver a good service. I struck the jackpot when I found Irene and Peter as they do care and it is clear to see they are very professional in dog care. Buster already treats their home as his own and they have even built him a little table with a bed on to lie on and look out of the window whilst Irene works. I now plan to book Buster in for day care once a fortnight to assist him with socialising better. I have also booked two more big holidays in the next year already. I would not hesitate to recommend Irene and Peter to look after your dog/s, Jackie
Berkeley Boarding and Pet Care are wonderful, i wouldn't leave my little dog with any other boarding company. Both Peter and Irene have made every stay with them full of fun and love and my dog is very happy to go there every time. they take the time to understand the needs and preferences of each dog and offer an incredible level of flexibility. The peace of mind this gives me is the sole reason i can go on any holidays, knowing they will care for my precious companion to the same standard as i do. I can wholeheartedly recommend them.
Irene and Peter have been looking after our cat for around a year now. They come over for half an hour a day whilst we are away on holidays or visiting family and we couldn't be happier with the service they provide. They're lovely with Esther and we never worry about her. Also, as a bonus, usually the room with all the cat things in is cleaner than when we left! I wouldn't hesitate recommend them, they will definitely keep your pets well looked after and they are both lovely people too.
We felt Bella was in very safe hands. Irene and Peter really care about getting the right dogs that will mix well and looking after them as they would be at home. Our Bella loved going there - and was straining at the lead to go in through the front door! What more can you say! Thank you
We have used Berkeley Boarding 3 times now. Our Cocker Spaniel Archie absolutely love Irene and Peter - he has the best time, which we can see in the daily video and photos that they send us. It’s his own little holiday, and a home from home for him. We could not imagine taking him anywhere else now. Thank you for looking after him so beautifully x
Our two dogs are rescue so can be anxious in unfamiliar situations. One is a springer/pointer cross, full of energy and into everything so not always the easiest to handle. However, I needn't have worried about him as he and Peter were the best of friends by the end of the holiday. We'd be very happy to recommend Irene and Peter to look after your dog.
Peter and Irene are such wonderful animal lovers. They have become Daisy’s extended family. I’m sure she misses them when we bring her home. The care and love they give to the dogs they look after is priceless. We adore our dog and I can relax completely when she’s with them. I feel so lucky we found them.
Irene and Peter gave purdie an amazing holiday experience, having never left her with anyone before she settled in so well, she had to be encouraged to come home with me! They kept in touch by sending lots of photos or videos of purdie having lovely walks and visits to the pub, she’s stayed with them twice now and I have no hesitation of leaving her with them again.
Helen and the team are amazing! Our dog is loved and treated so well by the team. We trust them with the safety and enjoyment of our dog and he really doesn't want to come back home he enjoys it that much.
Amazing - my dog comes home tired but not too tired and his pulling on the lead has reduced so much as he is getting the socialisation he had been craving. Love the team, super friendly and Helen really knows her stuff which is a massive bonus. Such a fab location for the dogs to play in
My rescue dog was extremely nervous and Helen is brilliant with him and now our new rescue puppy, who is the opposite, super confident. She trains us owners as well as the dogs, and I think she is a dog whisperer !! We only needed a few lessons, but still go for socialisation and talk to Helen about any issues. Highly recommended

Carol and her team go above and beyond to give our two boys love and care every time we’re away. Blaze and Bandit are over the moon to visit and we can tell they have the best time. Carol and her team have also gone above and beyond so many times for us too, squeezing our dogs in at the 11th hour when my dad went into hospital and we had to leave last minute. Everyone at Carols have been so incredibly supportive, kind and caring of us and our boys through Dads illness and we couldn’t be more grateful to them for the love and kindness they have shown us and our boys. If I could give 10 stars, I would! Thank you so so much Carol and your lovely team. You and what you do mean the world to us.

My dog loves it here! Such a lovely countryside location, it’s like a dog holiday camp. The staff are great and I always feel sure my dog is going to be well looked after, it’s a huge weight off my mind when leaving him.

Great experience from start to finish..My Staffy Star's first time using Carol's Kennels in August was so nervous because it was his first time in kennels but he loved it and loved being spoilt rotten. They update you also with pictures ect :)) he will definitely be returning for a visit x

We left our Bulldog Chester here whilst we went away for 10 days in August. We were quite anxious as he’s never been to a kennels before and the weather was very hot, Something that Chester struggles with. Luckily we were reassured with messages and photos from the lovely staff and we found them all to be extremely friendly. Chester seemed to have a great time and came home in great condition with the staff going above and beyond to tend to him. We wouldn’t hesitate to send him for a holiday again here.
My dog loves this place! He always wants to go back in! He never smells of kennels when he comes home and they always have plenty of treats. Dogs that are friendly, neutered and vaccinated can run around in the orchard and food is included in the price which is reasonable.
Had an emergency situation and needed to get our dog into a kennels with no notice. Bassett Court had availability and were able to take our girl in for the night. We were worried about leaving her as she’s a rescue and didn’t cope well in the kennels at the rescue centre but when we came to collect her we were pleasantly surprised. She’s normally nervous of new people but was making sure to get a belly from them all. They were all so lovely and made her so comfortable, even walking her before we arrived the next day. We will definitely be booking with them in future 🐶

Contacted in January to book my dog to stay with Forest Paws in June, was told we would need a couple of days to stay there previously to settle him in. ONE WEEK before we were due to leave for our holiday she tells me she can no longer look after my dog because he cried through the night. No apology or remorse whatsoever. If you don't like dogs crying because they're away from home you shouldn't be in the business. I had to pay £20 for the privilege of being turned away at the 11th hour and she didn't even thank me for that, am now left desperately trying to find a kennel at peak season and if I can't I've lost hundreds on a holiday I won't be able to go on. She even admitted in hindsight she should have dealt with things sooner to avoid letting me down. Shouldn't be in business, rude and unprofessional. Avoid.

Brilliant kennels My my german shepherds love it there and walk away from me without looking back. They are so happy there. I would go to this kennels regularly.
My two girls went here for the Christmas period whilst I went away to visit family. No communication regarding updates on my girls after messaging them on numerous occasions. Both girls came back dangerously thin which involved me having to contact my vets for them to be put on supplements to help with their weight gain. Their bed and new Christmas toys and them came back smelling damp along with their harnesses. When I messaged them to say I wasn’t happy with how my girls had been taken care of I got a message saying they were lively with them! And two photos of them on a walk blurry. I do not recommend and will never send my girls here ever again. Personally I would avoid precious pets.
People there were very friendly and helpful when booking for our dogs to stay, when collecting the dogs from their stay, the people who brought them out were friendly, the dogs both looked so happy, and all in all I think they enjoyed their stay! Would highly recommend precious pets for anyone thinking of putting their dogs into boarding!
I'm not really sure how I should review precious pets. The communication prior to my dogs going was amazing. My dogs stayed only 3 days in the kennels as i collected them early due to coming off holiday earlier than expected. I phoned a few times whilst away and was told both dogs were settled and eating and drinking well. On getting home with my dogs I realised one was peeing very frequently...crying to go outside very few minutes but hardly going and then also noticed she was peeing blood. ...an emergency visit to the vet then be diagnosed with a urine infection which she is now on antibiotics and anti inflammatory probably due to not drinking much. I am no way blaming the staff at precious pets as it must be hard to monitor especially when both my dogs shared a kennel. I just wish if something was noticed then I was told. I think a way the service could be improved is maybe If there was an option for photo updates when the dogs were out on their walks or even a live webcam to the kennels. I don't think I will be using kennels again as one of my dogs ovbiosuly found it pretty stressful. Like I said ...I am not blaming precious pets for my dog being unwell They have amazing reviews and that shows for something.
Very helpful and friendly staff... I love the fact that most times when I pick my two dogs up (they only ever do one or two nights) they have even been washed and smell lovely. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. They are most definitely not in the middle of nowhere as one review describes.
We use Precious Pets on a pretty regular basis and have used them for a few years now & highly recommend them. Their rates for boarding are reasonable as well...& we have 4 dogs. They offer special rates if you are boarding more than one dog which is an excellent incentive. The staff are brilliant with our hounds too.Our dogs always come home looking fabulous & smelling sweet what more can you ask for? Thanks to Paula & Steve & all the staff x
