What a lovely welcome at Julia and Jeremy's! Surprised by their beautiful house and our attractive and well-appointed stay, the Oast house. The next day an informative tour of the beautiful garden. Closely followed by Molly and the 2 cats. It was a pleasure to walk with Molly on the hills in the area. She is a well behaved and sociable dog. A pleasure to walk with. The cats are both old and can entertain themselves well. Fluffy especially likes to get attention. Unbelievable to see how the blind cat manages to find its way flawlessly. Their food with the medicines was no problem. We were lucky in the spring, with all the tulips, bluebells and other beautiful flowers. Lovely and relaxed in the garden to water, and to remove the dead heads. We made use of the oven which was easy to operate, also usable as a microwave. We did not use the dishwasher. The fridge does. The double bed with 1 lovely duvet was made. Such a luxury. Nice big and thick towels in the bathroom. In short, completely complete. The wifi was superb. We look back on a number of wonderful days with beautiful trips and walks. Thank you Julia and Jeremy for your nice welcome and stay. Big hug to your lovely pets.
Lona and Emma were such lovely hosts. We spent some days together prior to our visit and we felt at home instantly, we couldn't have asked for a better welcome. Darla and Piper were the sweetest and we miss them already. They are very well trained and very pleasant to look after as they really stay with you (literally everywhere, privacy does not exist anymore haha). Piper needs quite some exercise, which is just perfect with the trails basically on your doorstep which made every walk feel like an adventure. We had an amazing time and had everything we needed (and much more!). We were so happy to have met all four of them.

The quiet neighborhood, lovely neighbors, and a massive amount of walking trails around this golf course added to the charm of my stay and allowed me to focus on my writing and research. What a bonus and a highlight that you introduced me to your amazing neighbors and setting me up to learn a card game called Hand and Foot which is variant of Canasta - way fun. I appreciated our pre-sit gathering, the full tour of the best spots, the wonderful meals together, and your attention to detail, especially with the eye-drop schedule for Zazzila. Plus it was so easy to communicate with you while you were overseas. Best of luck with your future travels and I am so looking forward to seeing you all this Fall…and especially cuddling with Zazzy.
