Hosting for Julie and Eric was amazing for us. They were very kind and they helped us with everything we could possibly need. The communication was perfect and we really recommend them as hosts. The pets are amazing, we are already missing them a lot. They are really calm, they love the interaction and they are super cuddlers. We hope we can see them in the future.
It was good to meet Roger and Honor about a week before the sit. Honor made me feel very welcome and thoroughly went through the house and Roger’s care with me so I felt very well prepared. She even sent me a map showing possible walking routes. Roger is a gorgeous cuddly affectionate boy with quite a mischievous personality. He frequently stole my knitting and balls of wool. We had great fun walking in the surrounding hills and woods and Roger was always happy to play unbelievably energetically with balls and sticks. Back from a walk he would usually curl up on my lap and snooze for a bit. When he woke he often wanted to play tug or chase a ball around the house. Honor has a beautiful comfortable home in a very nice part of Edinburgh. Although I didn’t need to go into the centre there always seemed to be plenty of buses around. I would be very happy to look after Roger again.
Housesitting for Ingrid was great! Communication was perfect and their home was super comfy and welcoming. Petra is shy but super sweet. After a few days, she became more curious and loved hanging out with us in the livingroom. She’s very gentle and easygoing. Definitely would sit for Ingrid again :)
Mochi is a very loving dog who enjoys cuddles. She loves to be close and is always up for a walk. Mochi is easy to look after and great company. Natalia is super friendly, easy to communicate with and quick in response. Natalia is also very informative about everything regarding Mochi. The apartment is cozy, spacious and well located in Copenhagen. I felt very comfortable! Staying at Natalia's apartment and taking care of Mochi was lovely. Thank you Mochi and Natalia!
Couldn't have asked for a nicer escape to Brighton with the company of Taika and Thor. Nick and Becky's home is lovely and in a great neighbourhood and location for walking Taika, nearby a couple parks and wooded trail. Taika is a classic Golden Retriever - joyful, silly, friendly, and energetic - trying to impress with showing off how many toys he can pick up in his mouth and is very good with other dogs at the park. He is well trained (knows all the classic commands), very social and always eager for a walk. Thor is a funny fluffy cat. He has his hiding spots in the house and is overall independent, but he enjoys company too and would happily hang out in the evening with me or run down the stairs to say hello after getting back from a walk. Once he gets purring he won't stop! Thor and Taika also have a very cute relationship with each other. Nick and Becky were easy to chat with and very welcoming. Thanks for the wonderful sit!
I can truly recommend Micky’s beautiful home, set in quite village, with beautiful surrounding and walking paths. I enjoyed a week looking after and caring for Cillia and Janet, they are so loving and easy to manage. I enjoyed taking them for the beautiful walks along the Thames river. I can highly recommend Micky as hosts and are excited for anyone who has the pleasure of looking after their pooches!!
