Janie and Tony are lovely people and easy to communicate with. Basil and Dill were a delight - very well trained, didn’t go upstairs, great recall ( with the bribe of a treat) and this made the whole experience very enjoyable and without stress. The house is just lovely - I had the best nights sleep and woke up to views over the estuary, every convenience in the house and beautiful walks on the camel trail, beaches, town and fields. I felt as if I d had a holiday !
Terri's home and pets will forever stay in my heart! Terri was absolutely wonderful, and her home was as clean as clean can be. The pups were a pleasure to be with !, I wish to have Terri as a friend forever, and petsit at her place as many times as possible.
Inigo and EmJ are really friendly people. They have two beautiful, playful did who are a pleasure to look after:) Had a great stay
This was my first stay using Trusted Housesitters and it could not have been a better experience! Katherine and Mark were wonderful and I felt extremely comfortable in their home. Cato has such a great personality. One minute he will be running around being a goofball, and the next he is sprawling out on the floor meowing for belly rubs. Thank you so much for trusting me with your home and with Cato!
We had a lovely stay at Jenny's home with Nugget and would recommend it to anyone wanting to explore the Mendip Hills and Somerset areas while having some furry companionship at home. Nugget is adorable, gentle and very affectionate. She was easy to walk, feed, tablet and care for. It was a real treat to take her for a wander each morning and evening, as well as have her to snuggle with on the lounge at night. She doesn't love other dogs, but this was very easily managed and with some diversion and distraction it was barely something that impacted us. We were able to leave her at home for a few hours at a time so we could explore some places further afield, she settled easily and was calm when we left. She was quiet and relaxed at night, happy in her bedtime routine and space. Having an enclosed outdoor garden where Nugget could be outdoors by herself was helpful too and meant we didn't have to put her on lead and stand with her for every toilet break. Nugget is gentle and sweet, our 4 year daughter loved her interactions with her and we are going to miss her. The house is warm, clean and very comfortable. It has everything you need for an enjoyable sit with an excellent and well equipped kitchen. Great location near several easy rural walks to take Nugget - wandering around the village was lush - and very easy to explore places like Bath, Wells and Cheddar Gorge with a car.
Lindsey and Douglas were wonderful to meet and pet sit for. Their dogs are as sweet as can be. We had fun taking them to the dog park and to the beach and hanging at home and snuggling them. The house had stunning views - it felt like a serene and relaxing vacation. We hope to visit again!
