We brought our English Toy Spaniel here for 2 days as part of trial before being admitted into boarding. We felt so at ease throughout the process. Even though we didn’t end up boarding our dog that weekend, there were several instances which made me know we had found a good boarding place when the situation calls for it. When we picked up my dog on the second day, the man at the counter got up to say goodbye to us, and told me he wouldn’t be around for the weekend. He then proceeds to cup my dog’s face in his hands, and tenderly said goodbye. It was complete natural, completely genuine. My dog, who usually hates strangers and would NEVER allow ANYONE to TOUCH him let alone cup his face, gazed back adoringly. A dog knows what a dog knows. We will not hesitate to board our dog here when we need to and recommend this place.

We’ve been boarding our pup and taking her to daycare at Atlas for 3.5+ years now. They take such great care of her and she loves to go there to see her friends! We love having such an amazing place (especially one she loves to go to) to watch our dog when we’re away.

Atlas Doghouse takes fantastic care of Zoey. They were very attentive to Zoey's dietary requirements and made her feel quite welcome in their space. Even though Zoey is a medium-sized boxer, she is older and more reserved, but Atlas separated daycare by dog energy vs. size and has handled each one with wonderful care, respect, and love. While there are no cameras, Atlas is quite active on social media and frequently updates me with pictures while boarding. They always made me feel at ease and were accommodating with drop-off and pick-up times. As soon as I turn into the street, Zoey becomes excited on her way to drop off. She adores the people who work there. I've used Atlas for daycare, boarding, and a variety of doggy activities.

If you are a caring pet owner you feel that your pet is part of the family. So when leaving them for an overnight stay or day care you want the peace of mind that they are receiving the best treatment. When you choose Atlas for your pet that is exactly what you are doing. The Staff is loving and caring of all animals. They do their best to accommodate requests within their means and communicate so well about the experience your pet is having. The facility is very clean and the system they use for caring for your pet works really well. Not only does my pup have so much fun being there he comes home calm and relaxed. That is truly a sign of how much fun, comfortable and loved he feels when he is there. We wouldn't settle for a second rate experience for ourselves and we shouldn't for our animals. I am very thankful for all the people at Atlas and the caring service they provide.

My dog Mocha loves Atlas Doghouse. She is usually shy but the staff does a great job to make her feel at home. It really helps that they separate dogs by energy levels and tend to have the same dogs every week - this creates a pack my dog is confortable around and happy to be with. The staff is focused on maintaining a happy and well behaved pack, so my dog comes back happy, relaxed and best of all tired! Great for overnight stays as well for weekends or longer!

I cannot express enough how much Atlas has improved the quality of life for both my puppy, Boomer, and myself. We do both daycare and boarding and they always send me pictures and videos (because I may be a nervous mother) and they shower my little one with love. Every day we get out of the car Boomer is bursting at the seems to get in the door. He may love Atlas more than I do :-)

After loosing our amazing dog Benji at a boarding facility in College Park, we were hesitant to board our other dog Wally. But the owner of Atlas eased our mind by explaining there protocol for everything to us. They let us have a trial run at daycare to see how our pup would do. They are amazing and send out emails and report cards during boarding. I firmly recommend any of the Atlas facilities.

There are a lot of dog daycares in the Bethesda area. Atlas, however, is a cut above all the rest! This family-owned business makes you and your pet their top priority. From the moment you walk into Atlas’ door, you can feel how much their staff love their jobs and truly care about being with your dog. The facility is always clean. The dog area is cage-free with cots and blankets. They also have a variety of equipment for dogs to enjoy. Atlas offers boarding with around-the-clock staffing! There is no better daycare in Bethesda to trust your pet with daily! Join the pack!

I started taking my baby weenie dog, Archie, to Atlas at the beginning of February. Being this was the first time I’ve left him anywhere, I was nervous. It did take him a second to warm up, but Michelle was so patient and kind to him and me. Fast forward to just a month later he LOVES going in. He doesn’t even tell me bye anymore 🥲 he wants his friends lol. This took all the worry away. If you’re looking for a daycare/boarding facility I cannot recommend them enough. They are AMAZING.

No better place to take your dog for daycare, we have been going here since they opened and wouldn’t go anywhere else. The staff really care about Pumpkin and make us feel she is in good hands when are at work. Their behavioral philosophy of deeply understanding the dogs also wowed us. I can’t recommend Atlas high enough!

I like that the canine coaches are very attentive to the dogs and immediately deal with any aggressive play or behavior. Staff also keeps the rooms clean and cleans up any messes right after they happen. I also enjoy that they have special days and activities for the dogs and will do cute photos for a 5$ fee. Wendell's prom and Olympic photos are the best and they are proudly displayed on my fridge and in my office :) Most importantly, my dog loves it, has been going since he was a puppy, and has made several friends with other regulars :)

BEWARE OF PRICING! I boarded my dog here for 4 nights 5 days. I was told boarding is $35 per night. Well it is … ON TOP OF $54 per day of day care to total $89!! I just moved to the area, boarding where I moved from in a suite (not a kennel) is $45 per night all inclusive so I didn’t even think to make sure boarding was not considered an “additional” cost! Since I didn’t bring her here for day care I didn’t go over that part of the service menu. It sucks because this place is super convenient but the lack of transparency on this issue makes me wonder what else we don’t see. Cameras are only on during play time, not 24 hours and they don’t give daily progress reports like I’ve received from other places. I’m really bummed out because other than that it seemed to be a decent fit for us. I emailed the office and as soon as I communicated that I was upset about pricing, but at that point I received no response. At least they could have give me the discounted rate for the multiple days of daycare which is offered on their website!! Already cancelled my upcoming boarding reservation and sadly won’t return.

I like that the facility is clean and calm with not too many dogs in the same room. My pup usually sleeps most of the day because I’m working at home in a quiet house, so I wanted to ensure that he would be able to find a cozy corner to snooze if he wanted to. I also love that they seperate the big dogs from the little dogs. During the meet and greet, the front desk receptionist and dog handler were super friendly and made me feel comfortable leaving my fur-baby with them and the other little dogs for a few hours. He aced his report card and I’m so proud! I’m looking forward to bringing him back for the days I work in the office, which is walking distance from Dogtopia!

I cannot recommend Dogtopia Bethesda enough! This dog daycare has been nothing short of amazing for my dogs, Henry and Petey. The love and care they show towards them is truly exceptional. Each time we pull up, both dogs can barely contain their excitement - it’s clear they absolutely love their time there. What strikes me the most about Dogtopia Bethesda is the cleanliness of the facility. In every visit, I’ve found it spotless, which gives me peace of mind knowing that my dogs are in a healthy and well-maintained environment. Moreover, their staff is top-notch. Each member is friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They always go above and beyond to make sure that Henry and Petey are comfortable, happy, and well cared for. Henry and Petey not only get the chance to play and interact with other dogs, but they also come home tired and content, which tells me they’ve had a full day of fun and socialization. In conclusion, if you’re looking for a dog daycare service that is reliable, loving, and professional, look no further than Dogtopia Bethesda. It’s a 5-star establishment in my book and a place that my dogs truly consider a second home.

This is going to be a long review of my experience because a) I've got the time b) I take doggy daycare very seriously Like many others, I had a furry pal join the family during the pandemic --Kibitz the Shih-chon pup. He's currently 4 months old, so I wanted to make sure he gets some socialization in and offset future separation anxiety. I opted for the Founder's Pass during Dogtopia's soft launch. It's my first experience with a doggy daycare and it's been amazing so far. I just dropped him off for his third day at daycare and he didn't even look back at me. 5 Stars. Location: Right across a Pet Parents pet store, on the same block as a Starbucks and surrounded by the great food offerings of Woodmont Triangle. (Tout de Sweet, Pitango Gelato, Medium Rare, Brgr, Doghaus, Hanaro, Bangkok Garden...) I just walk there since I live in the area but there's a parking garage on the same block and parking in the front. Hours: 7 AM - 7PM Weekdays 10 AM - 5 PM Weekends Very flexible considering other options in the area have less open hours and are not available on weekends. Offerings: Basic Upkeep--They offer nail trims, baths, ear cleaning, tooth brushing but no full grooming. The bath option was very needed thanks to the rain this week. Kibitz smelled amazing when I picked him up. I just added it on when I dropped him off, no appointment needed. I also added on a nail trim and they did a great job. Boarding: Haven't tried it yet, but if needed they will be my go to. Daycare: Day evaluation was efficient and employees were great at answering my questions and giving me a tour of the facility. I love the access to the webcam and the ability to send out guest pass access to family. Someone is always there watching my pup, and the employees have been really on top letting me know which dogs Kibitz is friendly with, and his behavior during the day. It's just nice to come in and have everyone know your dog. Employees were accommodating when I asked them to keep an eye on my pup's bowel movements. You can drop off your pets food or they can provide it. They can also give them any medications. There's one-way tinted glass to the toybox (small dogs area) by the front desk and in front of the building so you can see the pups if you want to check on your small dog from outside. Dogs are resting between 12-2pm, so the webcam isn't available then. They also discourage dropping your dog off during those hours. Fair, since dogs and employees both need to rest. Covid Safety: Employees all wear masks and are very considerate with having one dog at a time at the front desk. There's a small entry way before you enter the front desk area where you can wait with your pup. There's also a canopy outside. There's hand sanitizer available. Price: Founder's Pass was a steal at $99 for two weeks of doggy daycare. Normal pricing is competitive from what I've seen for this area and is listed on Dogtopia's website. There's a discount for veterans and military personnel. I'm looking at the monthly passes, but I'd like to see a unused day here and there can be rolled over, or if there's a discount for additional days. Baths start at $20 based on the size of your dog. Kibitz's groomer came out with him and let me know how he did. Nail trims are $15--that's a little steep to me but it beats going to Petsmart and getting the luck of the draw with your dog's safety. They can keep credit cards on file so I just add things to Kibitz's tab. Overall, I'm very pleased with my experience during Dogtopia's soft launch. I'm glad it's here. The Dogtopia Bethesda staff are wonderful! They genuinely care about the dogs in their care and are quick to address any concerns. I never worry when dropping my dog off at daycare because I know the staff will take care of her. The facility is always clean. 5 stars!

Our experience with Dogtopia has been positive overall. Our pet enjoys his time here. There have been some issues with the staff appropriately following feeding instructions. However, they has been receptive to feedback and show a sincere desire to fix their mistakes.

Mikhail Nowlin is a clearly outstanding general manager. Of course, the entire staff is terrific - all are courteous and helpful while a couple are even fun to interact with - however, Mikhail is exceptionally masterful in his customer care and service, flexibility, rapid response, and true affection for our Bravo.

Amazing experience!!! I brought in my dog Sully about a month ago and I’ve absolutely fell in love with the store and the staff. The employees took the time to meet with Sully and get him used to the room where he would be staying. Every time I have came in the store the staff has always been very polite and reassured me that he was in good care. They have TVs that display the rooms and the dogs always seem to be having a blast with each other and the staff. I’ve only taken him here about 4 times but I can say every time I pick him up he is so happy and full of life!!!

Seriously the most AMAZING place with wonderful staff. My dog has idiopathic epilepsy and unfortunately he has had seizures will he was at Bone Jour from being super excited. The staff took such GREAT care of him while it happened and all throughout his stay. The staff really care about my dog and really pay attention to how he is doing which is such a godsend when I’m away. I got correspondence from the owner to update me about the situation and it really put my mind at ease. We’ve done boarding, daycare, and grooming here and the care, attention, and level of service is unmatched.

We love Bone Jour Inc! Our Maltipoo Maple is seven months old and has been groomed twice and looked beautiful both times. I also know that she is well taken care of while she is there. I would definitely recommend Bone Jour Inc!

TL;DR: pay up front, and it’s a toss up for a good result but potentially iffy treatment of your pet. I’m torn on this review. My dog always looks great after going to Bone Jour, but is visibly upset and anxious upon pickup. I assumed this was the norm until taking him to a different groomer due to Bone Jour’s extremely busy schedule. A warning: ask for a specific price and pay up front. Several times I’ve been duped into paying significantly more than quoted at pickup. The most egregious of these was being quoted $85 for my first groom (a “too good to be true” price, truly), and receiving a $145 bill at the end and being told “well it just depends on the dog and how long it takes”. Not only is this an illegal business practice, it’s unethical and predatory. There’s no oversight or accountability to stop this from happening.

Oliver always is looking fresh after his cuts. They take great care of him. I have had him groomed at many groomers over the past four years and Bone Jour definitely is the best! I don’t know what they do but he is sooo soft after I get him back that you don’t want to stop petting him. I highly recommend for any doodle owners out there.

Very welcoming to our dog. He seemed to love the experience. Just wish they had web cameras to watch him play with other dogs.

It is hard finding a great place for your pets. We’ve tried and failed many times in the DC area, but we love Bone Jour. They love our dog, know him by name the second he comes in the door, and we trust them to always do a great with job grooming, day care, or boarding. The staff is super friendly, helpful, and responsive to your inquiries. Highly recommend.

Bone Jour has been the best day care place for my dog Bruno. He has been attending it since he was a small puppy. I want to express my appreciation to all day care team members for caring,loving attitude and taking care of our dogs as if they were their own. Two weeks ago I had to travel for a week and needed someone to look after Bruno. It was his first time being away from home by himself and I did not know what to expect. I entrusted Bruno to Bone Jour's team and he spent a week in his "boarding camp" there while I was overseas, visiting my family. He definitely missed his home when I picked him up, but after a week of being at home and catching up on his sleep, he was excited to go back to Bone Jour and see his friends again. I definitely give Bone Jour 5 stars for a wonderful and friendly environment, great indoor and outdoor play areas, caring and attentive staff. I recommend Bone Jour to my friends and all dog owners that I meet here in Bethesda. My corgi boy loves this place. I have been to 4 doggy daycares in the DMV, and Bonejour is by far the best in terms of price and care.

I have been employing Fetch! for my pet care needs for well over a decade now, perhaps 15 years (it's been a long time!). Without exception, the sitter (Jenny) has always gone above and beyond to satisfy every need while I'm away from home, not only for my pets, but in ensuring my home is secure during and between visits and in collecting mail and informing me of anything else that requires my attention (water leaks, flooding, etc.). In addition, the sitter has been wonderful in administering medications properly when needed and in cleaning litter boxes, food dishes, and eating/waste areas as needed. The sitter has also made time on every visit to play with my cats, which I can tell from photos that they've really enjoyed! I greatly appreciate the photographs Jenny sends after each visit, but I have always had complete peace of mind when I'm away, due to the fantastic communication she provides. Lastly, the management and staff of Fetch! have provided excellent administrative support in adjusting scheduling changes to accommodate my schedule. In my opinion, the service provided by Fetch! is worth every penny!

Silver Spring Fetch is awesome! Their sitter Dawn became a part of our family. My cats love her!! I always felt better when I know that Dawn was watching over my fur babies and appreciate the great care that she gave them.

Fetch has been a godsend for us. You've looked after our cats for over a decade, and we are always able to enjoy our time away from them secure in the knowledge that they are being well taken care of. Their primary sitter, Stephenie, is particularly great and always sends us the best pictures of the cats!

We really appreciate the experience our cat had with her Fetch sitters because we know she was well taken care of by people who care about her and love cats. We appreciate the ability to communicate regularly while traveling it's great peace of mind.

We have been using FETCH for several years (about 6-7?). I cannot recommend this company more highly. Originally, FETCH came to our house in Kensington. When we moved further out in the county, FETCH accommodated us even though we were not in their usual walking area. Lorena has been walking our pup ever since, at least 3 years. Our pup loves Lorena who is completely focused on her care the entire time she is with her. Lorena knows exactly what our dog needs and she has special games she plays with her. (Hiding treats around the room when she leaves!). I attached one of Lorena's daily pictures of our dog. FETCH also accommodates our crazy, inconsistent work schedules. Over the years, their service has improved with digital walk diaries, online client portals and better customer service. We do not provide people with the keys to our home lightly. FETCH is licensed and bonded and they really check out their walkers thoroughly. We would not trust anyone else to care for our pup, especially now that she is aging. FETCH is a premium service, but the service and sense of trust we get from knowing they can be there for our dog is well worth it

I am new to Fetch! but have nothing but good things to say about my experience with them. Their online system makes scheduling visits, paying invoices, and receiving updates very easy and organized. Jenny, in particular, is such a pleasure to work with. She is professional, punctual, and thorough. Her post-visit updates with pictures and commentary provided much peace of mind while I was away. I have a blind, senior cat who is a little needier than the average cat, but I know he's in great hands with Jenny.

Absolutely love this service! Fetch is so reliable, I love that I’m always matched with the same sitter. Shout out to Connor. Connor comes to our home every time we’re out of town, our two cats love him, and, most importantly, I always feel safe having him in my home. Connor plays with my girls, takes pictures, and leaves a diary note in the app telling me about their day. I look forward to those updates when I’m abroad! I also have the peace of mind knowing that Connor is not an independent contractor, so if he’s ever sick or unavailable, Fetch will send a new sitter out to take care of my cats. All around 5 stars. Easy to use app and service.

Fetch has been an excellent service for us. They are friendly and really show care for pets. We appreciate that we've had the same wonderful dog walker for over 3 years now, and he's super sweet and kind to Roxy. We appreciate the flexibility of the daily schedule, and that Mike will often be able to accommodate extra or weekend walks when we ask. We have been impressed with the work Fetch has done to maintain service during the pandemic. Can't recommend highly enough!

Josephine and Chris are a godsend! We have a very energetic and dog reactive Pudelpointer and they have been taking great care of her off and on for the last 2 years. She gets plenty of love and has been able to socialize with many dogs which is helpful in her behavior training. Highly recommended service!

Chris and his team have been so wonderful! Chris is responsive, and works with my ever-changing schedule, and is great with my dog. I love that he uses the Pet Check technology - I get an email when they arrive, and again when they leave with a note about the walk, and sometimes a picture :) Paying invoices is smooth and easy. After using two other dog walkers, we've stuck with Chris for quite some time now and I highly recommend using him and his team.

We've used Chris and Peticular Charm Per Care several times. They've always done a great job and have been consistent, reliable, and professional. Our dogs are French Bulldogs and they have special needs. Chris and team did a great job with them and the dogs loved them. Finally, you can tell when you meet Chris and team that they are really animal lovers...

I highly recommend Peticular Charm Pet Care to anyone who is looking for dog walking services in the DC area. Chris is always very responsive and helpful when I reach out to him via email about scheduling extra walks or cancelling walks. Our little dog adores his walker and looks forward to his daily afternoon walks. Our walker is diligent in checking in with us and texting us updates as needed. Lastly, the app used by Peticular Charm is very convenient--you can see when your dog was walked, what route they took, and what your dog, ahem, *did* on his walk. I really trust Peticular Charm to look after my dog and give him the walks he craves in the middle of the day.

Chris and his team of walkers are great. Mark has walked our dog for a number of months and we've been super happy (as has our puppy). Their use of the Pet Check system makes tracking and paying for service so easy and convenient. We have recommended them to several families already and will continue to do so.

I’m thrilled with the dog walking services of PETicular Charm! The owner, Chris, came by to meet our little guys, took notes on behavior and routine. Very good rates! An added plus is that Chris and his crew can board a dog at the last minute in case we have an emergency. I trust Chris and his employees explicitly with our dogs and our house! Chris is also a very well read, traveled, cultured musician with a fascinating life. My dogs are in interesting company - kinda jealous!

The team at Peticular Charm has been great! We use them for daily walks, doggy daycare once a week, and they also watched our 8 month old puppy when we were out of town for a week. They sent daily pictures and videos so that we knew our puppy was having a good time. Honestly, I think our puppy would rather live with his friends from Peticular Charm than us!

We met Chris while he was out walking one of his clients and enjoyed talking with him so much, we decided he would be our new dog walker. He is reliable and wonderful with our scaredy-pup. I've recommended him to our neighbors and friends, and we rest easy when we leave town knowing Chris is looking in on our pup.

We have had multiple dog walkers in the last few years and Chris and his team are definitely some of the best. Peticular Charms is very accommodating, very flexible and reasonably priced. They use Petcheck technology, which is great. I highly recommend Peticular Charms.

I’ve been using Mary’s Pet Squad for a few years now. I have an older, very high maintenance cat who needs an abnormal amount of attention and likes her box and bowls very clean. (Adopted this cat at 5 weeks old and she’s 11 years now.) I think Mary is the only other person in the world that my cat has gotten used to and likes other than her daddy. I love that Mary uses the portal and sends me photos of her at each visit. When I’ve taken extended trips (to Europe Pre coronavirus times) she also introduced me to her other staff members before I left who were just as fantastic. Same for even short weekend trips when I’ve gone to visit family on the East Coast. It’s also a big deal to me to be able to trust someone in my house. I can’t recommend her business enough. I’ve also moved and she’s been willing to follow us.

Great pet-sitting service! They're reliable and take great care of my two kitties, even giving daily meds to one of them who doesn't really like new people. I've trusted them to come into our home and visit, feed, and play with my cats probably 15 days per year for the last few years and I've never been disappointed. I get photos and daily updates through their portal to know that the kitties were taken care of that day. Also, online booking is easy once you've set up your pet portal access. Highly recommend Mary's Pet Squad!

The former owner of a pet sitting business myself, I have pretty high standards when it comes to my cats' care. I'm a neurotic pet mom, and the most important thing to me is knowing that someone is going to show up and take care of the things we've agreed upon. Not only is Mary unfailingly reliable and professional, my cats adore her. They fell for her the first time they met her. Honestly, I'm a little bit jealous - I think they like her more than they like me. Seriously, though...I can't think of anyone I'd rather trust with my pets' care than Mary.

Mary's Pet Squad is excellent! I had never used a pet walker before and was frantic when a unexpected situation required we get someone right away. I happened to luck into finding Mary just as she was launching her business. She's perfect!!! She is organized and professional and a joy to work with. She walks my dogs--one of which is a major handful--and the dogs love her. When we've gone away, she has come to keep our cat company and now our usually elusive cat comes running to see her when she comes to walk the dogs. I can't say enough good things about her, and she has always worked me in for an appointment even when I contacted her last minute. You can't do better than Mary--I highly recommend her.

Mary's Pet Squad goes above and beyond in pet care. I have two elderly cats who have a lot of medical needs. Mary treats the kitties as if they were her own. I am able to go on vacation and not worry. She sends me pictures and comments after each visit. My kitties have gotten to know her and they look forward to her visits.

Mary and her team of professionals make our furry family members feel loved, well cared for and happy 😊 Our Golden retriever Bella has ‘grown up’ under the care of Mary and she is the happiest pup ever! Mary was amazing! We had her look after our hedgehog Wolfgang while we were away on vacation for a week. She sent us in depth updates every day after her visits with him, including pictures. Although we missed him, we felt very much like he was in good hands, which made it easier to be away and not worry as much. 5/5 service for sure!

I am so happy that Mary started her own business. My two dogs love her and so do I! Always timely always thoughtful caring and kind. Mary regularly walks my dogs and is always willing to do an extra walk if I need it. I am a very very happy customer and would recommend her to anyone who wants be sure their dog is in good hands.

Mary has taken care of our Maine Coon Kitteh, Sir Leonardo Scraggle Bottoms, III while we were on vacation. She took the time to meet us before our departure, get to know Leo, learn his schedule and habits, and assure us that he would be well taken care of. While we were away for a week, she sent photos and videos of Leo every time she visited. He always looked happy. We returned home to a happy, well fed and cared for cat. The litter box was clean and the water dish clean and full. We have already booked her while on our next trip, and we are confident that Sir Leo won't miss us a bit while she visits!

My Beabull had a wonderful stay with Mary and her family. She took great care of her and was responsive and sent lots of pictures. I would recommend her services!

My Suki is a covid pup who was accustomed to having attention 24/7, so when my husband and I were both pulled back into the office I knew I had to find a reliable dog walker. I spent ages combing through all the various services and Rovers in my area, and I'm SO glad I finally found Baby Got Bark. Claire was incredibly responsive when I sent the initial interest email, and she sent our walker, Jules, out to meet us the next week. We knew it was true love when Jules walked in and said "That dog is a HYENA and hyenas are my favorite animal". Most people call her a tiger, but she is clearly a hyena. Jules has come to walk my pup three days a week for the past few months, and we couldn't be happier. Based on the photos Jules sends after every walk, it is very clear that Suki has a new best friend. Jules is quick to send an update after each walk, and is very responsive to communication in the Portal - even for unrelated tasks I forgot in the morning rush, like taking the blanket off the bed so Suki can't destroy it, as she is prone to do... Claire accepts my walk requests immediately, and the price is lower than anything else I was considering. We're so relieved to know Suki is taken care of and happy while we're at work. We love Baby Got Bark, and will be customers for many many years.

Claire and her team have been incredible! I hired Baby Got Bark (BGB) because I wanted a professional dog walker that knew dog behavior to walk my baby on a daily basis. A week after I hired BGB, I went out of the country for a vacation. I had a friend’s daughter stay with my dog during this time. However, I saw on my cameras how she was not taking care of my dog. I got in contact with Claire immediately and told her the situation. She responded to me immediately and was able to have one of her staff (Ashley) take over for overnight stays after I asked my friend’s daughter to leave my house. Claire was understanding and so responsive and immediately went over to my house the next day and changed over my apartment in preparation for Ashley to stay there (changing bed sheets, putting out fresh towels, etc.). Claire took my dog in a long walk and made sure she ate something! (My dog had not eaten in four days when my friend’s daughter as watching her.) When I returned home, I met Ashley, who is amazing! Super nice and kind! My dog LOVES Ashley and gets just as excited to see her as she is with me! Claire and her team at Baby Got Bark have been incredible! I highly recommend them to anyone that needs dog walking or overnight services. They are amazing!!!

Valerie stepped in at the last minute when we became alarmed over numerous troubling incidents at our vet's boarding facility. Our little Tonkinese boy was chronically ill and received visits from Valerie three times a day. Valerie provided unparalleled care–she would rock him and sing to him! Bennie passed away in August. The following day we unexpectedly were given the opportunity to adopt two frightened rescues out of Baltimore. Although Oliver and Thea are amazing, intelligent, sweet and fully acclimated, strangers can still be a problem, so a kennel situation would be quite stressful for them. We know that we don't have to worry while vacationing when Comfy Pet Sitters is on the job. We are confident that Valerie will win them over as she is a "cat muse." (NOTE: Valerie also cares for our Sugar Glider, Hannah.) Valerie's rates are fair and affordable. Animal care is Valerie's full-time job; we don't have to worry that our kittens (who feed around 6pm) will have to wait until after 9pm to be fed. (If your pet sitter has a full-time job, your animals may not receive the care that is needed on your pets' schedules.) Needless to say, Comfy Pet Sitters is our 5-star choice for our fur babies!

We connected with Susie shortly after we adopted a Westie mix from the animal shelter. Our dog (Sophie) dealt with reactivity issues when we went outside for walks. Susie worked with us extensively to both improve Sophie's comfort level around other dogs and also how we could distract her through the use of positive reinforcement and clicker training. We greatly appreciated Susie's time and her willingness to ago above and beyond to help with with Sophie. She came to us for training, joined us in our nearby park (Meridian Hill Park), and even offered up her building front yard for long leash training. She provided necessary tools to help us and was all around a great trainer to work with. We can't recommend her highly enough.

Susie is fabulous. I adopted a 2 year old pit mix in May 2023 and was totally lost. I wanted a trainer in the neighborhood who would teach me how to be a good dog parent. Susie helped guide me and my pup into being a cohesive team, helping me teach my dog not to pull, jump, etc while dealing with my neuroses as a first time dog owner! Susie really cares about you and your dog and it shows. In addition to being a great trainer, she's also a fabulous dog sitter - she always sends me picture updates and my dog has a blast with her.

Susie is an excellent dog trainer! My dog is a rescue who was in the shelter for a very long time and didn't have any training. This is my first dog, so I also have a lot to learn. Susie is great with my dog, very supportive, and helps me feel comfortable as I learn how to engage with my dog. I also like that she uses positive reinforcement and clicker training. I saw huge improvements even after the first session! We've done three sessions together so far and made a lot of progress. I found Bella almost 2 years ago when I first got my dog, Roxy, and ever since she could not be more reliable. She is so great with her and treats her as if she is her own (and her kids love Roxy too!). I know for a fact that she is well taken care of while I am traveling and that makes me feel 1000x better; I don't need to worry about the love she is receiving while I'm away! CANNOT RECOMMEND BELLA ENOUGH! We have had Bella take care of our dog for the past 2 years when we go out of town. After a bad experience with a doggy day care center that felt impersonal and cold, Bella was a breath of fresh air. When our dog is with her, he really is a part of the family and I am able to relax while away because I know he’s in great hands. Our dog enjoys playing with her children and even going to work with Bella at the pet hospital. She is able to provide pick up and drop offs, lots of pictures every day as well as some grooming services. Bella is also very flexible and easy to contact. Our dog always returns exhausted and well cared for. Anyone should feel comfortable with their pet in her care. We cannot recommend her enough!

Bella has cared for our two dogs and diabetic cat for over a year now, and she is truly fantastic! She is flexible, responsive, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure our fur-babies are happy and healthy. She has accommodated all sorts of issues for us, including last minute schedule changes and medication administration. Our dogs are usually nervous around people, but they always have a great time with Bella. She is also great about keeping us informed and sends plenty of photos after each visit. I cannot recommend her services highly enough - without Bella, we wouldn’t be able to travel nearly as much as we have lately! I am so comfortable with Bella caring for our animals. If I could give her 10 stars, I would!!

Bella is awesome! She’s been watching my dogs for over 3 years now and has always done an amazing job with them. She is very attentive, sends updates often, and offers pick-up and drop-off services. I know that anytime I leave my dogs with Bella and her family they will be well loved and well played with.

Bella did an amazing job taking care of our healthy cat and our sick cat while we were away. She administered medication as prescribed and provided daily updates to the worried pet parents. Bella was lovely to talk with and also took good care of our home. I highly recommend her!

5 Star service for taking on walking my spoiled, large energetic Shepherd-Husky on short notice after I injured my knee and couldn't do the job myself.
