Katharine and Adrian gave me a wonderfully warm and generous welcome to their amazing home and when they left the following morning I was fully informed of the cats' requirements. Cloud and Baloo were very easy to get to know, needing virtually no "acclimatisation" time, and by the end of my short stay were extremely affectionate. They really were as good as gold and everything a cat-sitter could hope for. The location is very quiet, but there is a pleasant area with restaurants, a pharmacy, etc. a short walk away and the seaside is within touching distance. The only things I would flag up are the technology-intensive nature of the house, as the owners are understandably security conscious (and it's all detailed in the welcome guide) and the absolute need for a car to get around the area.
Where do I begin. Julie is so lovely and I instantly felt comfortable in her beautiful home. You might think caring for 5 dogs is a lot…its a lot of love, a lot joy, a lot smiles, a lot of the best snuggles in your life! All 5 were my favorite. They are so well behaved and are so overjoyed every time you walk back in the room. Julie has everything so organized to care for them that made it so easy to fall right into a great routine. Tilly is like a little human wrapped up in all that cuteness. She is so smart and will make you laugh each day. Choochie girl, I still miss her presence, that wiggle and joy just leaps out of her! Mavi seriously all love!! I miss his neck snuggles and his happy joy before each meal!! Nelson, so sweet and he will be this gentle shadow by you. Pure love he is. Rocky boy, oh my heart for him, he will stay in the shadows but let him in and its all pure goodness and so much love. Obviously I fell in love with these little souls and will treasure my time with them times 5! Julie’s home is not only beautiful but very comfortable and a safe walkable neighborhood. I enjoyed all the walks with the pups. I did all my grocery shopping by foot at the local food Co-op grocery store. But if need be, there are plenty of other wonderful other grocery stores, just minutes away by car. The home is in a Super cute little downtown district that you can walk to. Loved walking with the some of the pups most mornings to the neighborhood coffee shops. Nina’s Coffee Cafe is beautiful and wonderful. Claddagh Coffee is delicious too and their gluten free Blueberry Cream donuts I highly recommended. Many wonderful places to eat and shop all within walking distance from her home. I hope to see all them again some day. Thank you again Julie for all your kindness and sharing your home, your wonderful fur babies with me. It was an experience I will never forget.
Sitting for Clyde, Copper, Torque and Max was a delight! All the boys each have their own personality and are a very easy crew to sit for. The house is in a gorgeous valley with beautiful sunsets. It has everything you need for a stay. Marissa and Derek are very accommodating and easy going. We would definitely love to petsit for them again in the future!
Kurt and Amy were wonderful hosts. They welcomed me warmly and walked me around the entire farm to show me my responsibilities in detail. They were always available if I had any questions. Their farm and all of its animals are absolutely wonderful. It was such a treat to care for them all and I had my little sidekick Heidi (their dog) to keep me company through it all. I had a delightful time watching over their home and would do it again in a heartbeat. If you love caring for farm animals and love the country, I would highly recommend watching over their beautiful land and farm.💕
It was such a pleasure taking care of Stevie. She was a joy to be around and easy to love. Had good energy for walks and was calm and quiet as I worked. Molly was very welcoming and responsive. She made me feel fully at ease living in their lovely home for the week.
