Pixie was an absolute dream to look after and the biggest challenge was saying goodbye to her :( Sujeewa has a lovely spacious house in a gorgeous village with lots of countryside walks on your doorstep but also easily accessible to the bigger towns nearby and London on the train. Pixie was great on the lead and it was lovely having her snuggle up on the sofa in the evening. She was also no trouble when I went out without her. Sujeewa was lovely and answered any questions I had. Only reason I didn't score a 5 was that I struggled to get instructions from her ahead of the sit and when I did, they were out of date with wrong information and some useful details were missing. I much prefer having detailed instructions to save me having to bother the owners while I'm there but Sujeewa did not mind answering my queries while I was there and she answered promptly. Overall, would be delighted to look after Pixie again and would highly recommend to anyone considering.
Sunny’s apartment was lovely to stay in, the location is prime and the space itself is gorgeous. Snoopy is a sweetheart, with a lot of energy and love to give! A big walk/run in the morning is a great way to start the day and make sure he can get some zoomies out. He loves to play fetch and tug of war, and chase other dogs at the run. Once back at the apartment, he’s happy cuddling up with you or looking out the window to see what’s going on. I had a fantastic time with Snoopy, and would be happy to sit for Sunny again!
I had the best time sitting for Sadia's fur baby. What an adorable, playful, and sweet cat!!! She LOVES to play!! Sadia was very communicative in a good way, and totally made me feel at home. Location was great too, close to parks and lots of good food choices. Highly recommend :)
I absolutely loved sitting for Kay and Ginger! Ginger is the sweetest dog you'll ever meet. She's calm and mellow, but has a fun and goofy side once you get to know her. She's happy lounging at home, but also loves short walks around the neighborhood. Kay was amazing as well. Super welcoming and had everything in order when I arrived - including portioning out all of Ginger's food for the 10 days I was there. Kays home is very cozy and comfortable. There are some great outdoor seating areas and a hot tub! I highly recommend this sit if you get the chance. Thanks, Kay!
Erin and Tim are great people with wonderful pets! Erin is very responsive, organized, and kind. Their home is comfortable and cozy. We especially enjoyed the books documenting the family's journeys around the world...very cool! We had a great time caring for Geronimo and Renzo while exploring Kittery and Portsmouth. They are great pups and easy to care for. We very much appreciated Tim and Erin taking the time to get us acclimated to the needs of the dogs prior to their departure. We hope to have the opportunity to return in the future...thanks :)
House and cat sitting for Vera have been an experience that cannot be transferred via words - creativity overflow! From first sight, Vera has been positive, open, kind, and understanding - while at the same time being incredibly funny in a wise way! She has a great gift for listening and being present, while at the same time making you feel at home within minutes. We immediately felt welcome and at ease with everything, Vera explained everything perfectly and was very happy to answer all of our questions. She was also very flexible in the dates of arrival and leaving, and in the end, it worked out perfectly for everyone :) This time Vera traveled for work and has been quite busy, but somehow managed to always respond in time and to the point - you can feel she truly loves the cats and the place. The house is perfect - there is plenty of spaces to work from, everything is very open, colorful, and the whole space invites you to be creative. There is also a pool, a magnificent garden, and many terraces, each one with its unique view - you can even see the ocean :) We also appreciated being able to step outside immediately from the bedroom, which made for a perfect morning feel. The main stars of the house sit - Theo and Pequenina - they are WONDERFUL! Theo is a very interactive cat in the best way possible -> we fell in love with all the different sounds he made when requesting human attention. :) He is very playful and will be very grateful for any attention you give him, we made him a string toy that he loved chasing around - he is clever, energetic, and easy to fall in love with. He will sleep with you if you let him - and he will not disturb you, he slept peacefully 97% of the time. He WILL find (and try to eat) any food you left out in the open, don't underestimate his detective skills! Pequenina is the more shy cat - she took a few days to warm up to new humans, but by week two she started showing her affection and love in a very unique, sweet way! She likes to play around too, preferably if Theo is not around (they love each other, at one point they even played together with the same toy) -> she has a preference for sneak attack play time, so you won't see her chasing string around the room, but more hiding and attacking from various angles :) They are both affectionate cats in their own ways, and we loved every minute spent in their presence - we would recommend this sit to everyone who loves interacting with cats and bonding with them, they will give you everything back and more! Both cats are very considerate of your sleep time, so don't expect them to wake you up at 5 am for no reason - on some occasions, we were the ones waking them up for breakfast. If you get the opportunity to meet Vera, Theo, or Pequenina, don't hesitate and go for it, for us it was a much-needed breath of fresh air! We would love to come back to cat-sit or just to visit the cats & Vera anytime :)
