We feel so lucky to have had lovely Danny and Joanne looking after our cat and dog,. Both pets clearly doted on them and enjoyed their company. We arrived home to a spotless house and were welcomed with a delicious dinner! The communication was great, both in arranging the sit and with updates about our pets whilst we were away. We couldn't recommend this couple more highly and hope to see them again.
I cannot say enough good things about Chelse and her home. It was very easy to communicate with Chelse and everything she asked of me while I was staying with her fur baby was more than reasonable. Her place is clean and homey and not too far from the action. Heisenberg was a fantastic kitty and I loved spending the whole month of June with him. I worked remotely while I was pet sitting him so he got a chance to meet all my coworkers and some of my clients which brightened their days. I had to bring over a chair for him so he wouldn't sit on my keyboard but the purring company was great. Heisenberg is very vocal so he will tell you when it's time for water, play or cuddles. His love of playing fetch with hair ties was also adorable! I would go back and sit for Chelse and Heisenberg any time.
Thank you so much Robert and Lesley for making it possible to explore such a beautiful part of France, stay in your lovely comfortable home and get to know two very well-fed cats who are a delight, and were very easy to live with! We appreciated your kind hospitality very much, starting with a delightful meal - the only downside was that you had to leave to go on your holiday the next day! It was an absolute pleasure to look after Laura’s cozy apartment and Ayla :) We spent 5 awesome days with Baby Ayla — the super sweet, adorable, well-behaved, very smart and curious pup. She can learn new tricks in one or two days. We managed to teach her how to shake hands and turn around! Laura is a fun person to talk to, and very welcoming, made us feel right at home. She was a great communicator before, during and after the sit. Laura gave us very clear complete home guide and how to take care of Ayla. The apartment was modern, clean and comfortable. Every room was already well-equipped too. Very well located to local restaurants, shops and subway is only 1 minute away. The apartment area is very nice as there are private roads, playground and garden for Ayla and us to walk around. Definitely a very easy sit and we had a wonderful time there! I 100% enjoyed sitting for Bernadette & Bryan. They were super friendly & felt confident with all info on how to care for their home and Tibbs. Tibbs is a super cool kitty & loved our game of twisting the laundry peg, kept both of us entertained! I enjoyed making/having dinner with them when they returned. I would sit for them again if the opportunity arose.
We had a lovely sit in Kate and Tristan's home. Lupin is an absolute delight and even though we were only there for a couple of nights we totally fell in love with him. He loved his daily walks on the beach and was a very good boy. He does get nervous around other dogs and tends to be a bit barky/growly (not realising this attracts more attention!) but he is easily distracted so you can pre-empt this behaviour. He is an absolute joy, has a lovely little personality and gives the best cuddles! Arundel is a beautiful town and well worth a visit. Thank you to the family for sharing their home and Lupin with us!
