We enjoyed looking after Gin and Tonic - they were both such friendly dogs and so well behaved. We took them a walk each day around the nearby lake which had numerous ducks swans and grey and white herons and cormorants. The house was lovely and cosy. Their parents are lovely people too! What a perfect housesit! Jess, Ben, the kids, the animals, the house, the views - everything was perfect. We stayed at Jess's house as a family, and it couldn't have been better. From the fresh fruit and local cheeses Jess left for us; to the sweet and hilarious Rudi and Farthing (the pups); to the gorgeous house, views and local area - we couldn't have asked for more. Rudi and Farthing were so much fun, and the other animals (sweet outdoor kitty, chickens and three cute sheep) were so easy. We enjoyed exploring around the Cotswolds, and of course spent lots of time adventuring near the house - endless places to walk and enjoy the beautiful countryside. Jess was a fabulous communicator from the very beginning, from our first Zoom to responding quickly to a few enquiries I had while they were away, and even after a long drive home from their holiday, they made time to offer us a cup of tea and a chat before we left. We would happily have Jess and fam over at ours for a cuppa if the opportunity ever presented itself - thoroughly lovely people!
I was able to enjoy an excellent induction, together with a lovely meal and good company. The duties were all very pleasant - feeding hens, tortoise and fish, collecting eggs, watering greenhouse and pots, filling bird feeders and feeding and cuddling the very loving and loveable cat Angus. Staying here was a real pleasure - a home beautifully designed and built to the highest standards by its very talented owners. A stone's throw from the North Downs Way, with good rail and bus connections, this made an ideal base for some wonderful walking.

Genevieve and Kevin are very thoughtful and generous hosts. Sophie is a sweet pooch who loves to chill and we had a great time getting to know her and her old lady ways 😀 Willow dropped in now and then to check on us and to get some snuggles. This was an amazing sit in the countryside with an abundance of hiking trails 10 mins drive from the house. Wouldn't hesitate to sit here again.
Such a nice family and beautiful animals at a peaceful country oasis in Pennsylvania. Pat and Jim were so kind and very responsive to questions. All three of the cats have totally distinct personalities and are all so lovable in their own way! And it was such a pleasure to watch Woody and Star their beautiful horses. They were total characters!! I really enjoyed my stay here.
