Boots is a dream pup. I loved walking with her, playing with the ball and her toys, and especially all the ways she showed me her cuddliness. And I appreciated how friendly she was with other people, kids, and dogs so we could socialize together. Emma and Dom were easy communicators and kind hosts, making the sit both relaxing and fun. I look forward to spending more time with Boots!
When we arrived, we were greeted very friendly by the whole family, including Ruby, the young German shepherd. When we got Fynn, our Newfoundland dog, out of the car, Ruby went straight up to him to greet him friendly too. That was a perfect start. Only the cats Poppy and Perry were a bit more reserved. If a housesit needs the tag "Sitter needs a car", then this one does. But that is not meant negatively. Because after you driving up the serpentines, you are rewarded with an incredible view from Aliza's and Stephen's terrace over Lake Neuchâtel. You don't necessarily have to come by car. There's a bus stop nearby, but having your own car definitely makes it more accessible. So if you like it a bit quieter and want to spend your day out in nature, this is the place for you. Even though Ruby is still very young and therefore needs a strong, experienced hand and some training, she was a great companion on our tours. Jumped right into the car and was open to new adventures. She had no problems with other dogs and was super interested in everything that came in front of her nose. Poppy, the older indoor cat, only showed herself at mealtimes, let us pet her a bit and then disappeared again somewhere in the house. Perry, who is allowed to go in and out whenever he wants, only came back on the second evening. But one look through the window at now two dogs and strangers changed his mind, and before we could even open the patio door, he was gone again. The communication before and during the sit worked great. Aliza and Stephen answered all our questions, and the tasks were clearly communicated. As we got to know Aliza and Stephen with their four kids as a family, we are sure that the "family-friendly" tag was set very consciously. I'm sure also a family with young kids is very welcome. We thank them for letting us be there and appreciate that they let us bring our own dog with us. We have certainly not been to this beautiful region for the last time.
We absolutely loved our stay with Bella! She's such a sweetheart and she's very clear about when she wants affection and when she wants to play. Jakob's apartment is the perfect size and it had everything we needed and more. It's also a 7 minute walk from the S-Bahn station which was super convenient to see the city. Jakob was really communicative and was quick to answer whenever we had questions. We highly recommend!
Great communication from friendly host who made us feel welcome. Muffin is an adorable, playful kitten and we enjoyed looking after her.
We had so much fun staying here! The community was friendly and very quiet! The pool is beautiful, clean and relaxing! I can’t wait to sit for Chrispin & Rick!
Yasmin and her family were easy to communicate with, hospitable and made everything easy! Molly is the best. We had a lot of fun giving her walks, throwing her ball and playing with her inside the house and the yard. She's easy going and loves fuss. We would love to come back and see Molly if the chance arose.
