Housesitting for Barbara was a delightful experience, even given the difficulties of travel during COVID. As we were travelling from Portugal (our visa was up), she allowed us to quarantine at her house and even overlap our stay with her given the difficulties of planning specific dates. She is an attentive, friendly, and charming host! Izzy and Savvy were great fun. Savvy took a little longer to warm up, but once she did, she couldn't get enough cuddles. Both cats were mellow and comfy furballs who eventually let us groom their magnificent mane. The house was spacious yet cosy and Seva became an expert at the Aga. The house is just a three-minute walk to the beach and near many shops. Great neighborhood. A highly recommended sit!
We had a wonderful stay in Hobe Sound with Luna, Skye and Felix, they are so sweet and easy to care for! We absolutely fell in love and miss them already. Leslie is great too and we so enjoyed getting to know her. She even took us out to dinner the night we arrived, so thoughtful. Communication was really good, especially considering that she was halfway across the world. The location is in a really nice neighborhood with a pool, gym, and tennis court and everyone we met was so nice. Loved the bed and the home had everything you could ever need. The flowers and plants in the garden are beautiful and the back looks over a nature preserve so coffee on the lanai was fantastic. I'm sure we'll be back when our calendars match up. Thanks for a wonderful experience Leslie!! Say hi to the babies for us :)
Findi was easy to care for and after a day or two was very affectionate. I was informed he might need some coaxing to eat, but I didn’t have an issue at all with that during my stay. The apartment is very cozy and has lots of natural light. It’s also located in a lovely neighborhood full of cafes, parks, and shops. I hardly left the area during my entire stay. Sonja also left clear and detailed guidance for the housesit and was very responsive to messages, which made the stay pleasant and worry-free. Overall, a memorable sit in a cute neighborhood with lovely company.
Looking after Beppie and Tiny was such a lovely sit. They're both very relaxed and low maintenance to care for, and Beppie was especially affectionate and happy to spend ample amounts of time by your side and following you around. Bee & Seb were also very kind and communication was a breeze both before and during the stay. The house is well located to public transit and the beach, while itself was very cosy and an easy place to feel at home. Thanks so much for such a wonderful sit! :)
Christine's apartment was an absolute delight to stay in. The space was immaculate and inviting, making me feel at home right away. The neighborhood was fantastic, with friendly neighbors and a great atmosphere. Raja, Blue, and Stella were a joy to be around and incredibly affectionate. Zoie is the sweetest companion you could ask for, always ready for a cuddle. Altogether, it's a pet lover's dream! I would highly recommend staying at Christine's place if you get the chance.
Jan is a good communicator. Everything was easy and direct. Lionel is a little Lion with the spirit of the chillest cat. No fuss! Although my stay was short he greeted me each morning by jumping on the bed for some cuddles! Location is great and the area is very peaceful. Good bus links too which I depended on.
