I got to know Joe before the start date as he was visiting the area. He was friendly and made me feel at ease to leave Kali and my house with him. The house was in perfect condition when I came back, Kali was a happy cat, and the gardens looked good. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable sitter.
I had a lovely stay in Mira's foresty Berlin apartment. The location is convenient for travelling into the city, yet peaceful with great walks and lakes all around. Maurice or 'meowrice' as I have come to know him is very cuddly and affectionate. Communication was easy and overall so was the stay.
This sit was amazing!! Samantha and Greg are wonderful hosts - their house was very welcoming and clean and came with detailed instructions on how to care for their pets. And boy were the pets a dream. They were really chill and fun to spend time with! We really loved playing with them and laying on the couch with them. We would be sooo happy to sit for this family again!
We have just had four wonderful days at Susan's beautiful home. The rabbits were a joy to look after - very inquisitive and very very hungry!! Susan made everything easy with clear communication beforehand and made up packs of food left in the fridge. The house is clean and very comfortable and only a short walk to the beach. We would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises!
Brandon and I loved staying at this beautiful, clean, convenient house in Austin! The guest room was very comfortable and the bathroom and kitchen were well stocked and perfect for our 4 day stay. Chance and Annie, the dogs, are loving, playful, intelligent and so easy to take care of. We miss them and hope that we can see them one day down the road! Harry and Cupcake, the guinea pigs, are also very easy to manage. This house is about 20 minutes from both the airport and the downtown area and is very convenient if you are looking for a place where you can explore all that Austin has to offer. Lia and her family were very accommodating and communicative before, during and after our stay. We highly recommend this house sit!
We were thrilled Pete and Sarah selected us for their first THS sit. It's always a honor to be selected for any pet sit but we really wanted to put their minds at ease while they were away on holiday. Pete and Sarah are a lovely couple that care deeply for their two animals Bubbles and Bailey and both pups are showered with love and lots of cuddles daily. We made sure we continued that love and affection while their parents were away. Both Bubbles and Bailey are super easy pets to care for. They don't take medications, love to take walks around the block and if you toss a tennis ball around the backyard, Bubbles will be your friend for life. When we weren't outside playing in the yard, both pups are content cuddling up next to you on the couch. Little heart stealers - both of them. Pete and Sarah's home is exceptionally comfortable. The area is very safe, close to loads of shopping and restaurants and surrounded by pristine golf courses. The screened in deck overlooking the pool and golf course was a favorite spot where we sipped our coffee in the mornings and had wine in the evenings where we were often treated to some of the most beautiful sunsets. This pet sit has turned into a favorite of ours. Count yourself lucky if you are selected to pet sit for this wonderful tribe. We so enjoyed the company of this family both before and after the sit and look forward to socializing with them in the future. Thank you Pete and Sarah for trusting us with your home and fur babes. We are missing Bubbles and Bailey every day.
It was a pleasure to take care of Ellie! Sweet, gentle senior girl, who loves nothing more than to put her head in your lap at the end of the day. Az left good instructions on Ellie’s care and was very responsive to our texts when we had questions. Az’s apartment is in a good location, walking distance to area restaurants. Off-street parking was a plus in a high-density neighbourhood of apartments. Thanks for sharing your home with us Az! Hope to see you in our future travels!
