Maine Coast Pet Care is wonderful! Kristie and Jackie are the only ones we’ve chosen to stay at our house with our best gal Murtaugh and though she is a bit shy Kristie & Jackie have been very patient and loving! It always feels like she’s in good hands and they send tons of photos and quick updates about how she’s doing while we’re away. I always hate leaving her so to have Kristie & Jackie here literally allows us to go on vacation because I could never find anyone else that Murtaugh was comfortable with. They are lifesavers and really lovely too!

We have used Jackie and Kristie on several occasions for dog walking and they are wonderful. They are great with communication and are very reliable. They text and send pictures and it always looks like everyone is having fun! Recently they helped us out so my daughter and son in law could include their 2 dogs in their wedding. Jackie and Kristie picked them up early from the boarding kennel, exercised them so they would be on their best behavior and brought them to both a picture session at Nubble Light and the ceremony and back to the kennel. They were on standby the whole time so we could relax and enjoy the wedding. I highly recommend Maine Coast Pet Care.

Jackie and Kristi of Time to Pet have taken care of our two kittens twice now and we have been so impressed with their cat sitting service. We have booked them for two more upcoming trips. They send updates with pictures everyday which we totally love to receive. When we get home from our trips our babies look so happy; we can tell that Time to pet took care of our kitties. They took great care of our kitten while we were away for a few days, and probably gave her more love and attention than she normally gets! Even after 2 years with us, our rescue dog remains fearful of new people and places. Despite that, he warmed up to Kristie and Jackie relatively quickly (well, quickly for him). Although he remains cautious around them, their positive energy and patience have made a difference. He joins them on walks and just completed his first overnight with them. It was great to know that he was in good hands and that we didn't have to worry about him while we were gone (we also received updates, which was appreciated). Their easy scheduling and payment system is a plus as well. Highly recommend you contact them if you're looking for pet services!

Maine Coast Pet Care is all we needed! Bella is such in good hands when we are off for a day or for a longer period of time. We find Bella very happy, and our house as we have left it! Their booking system is very friendly and easy to use. We met the owners before the first service. They came to our house to meet our dog in person and to learn more about her needs. I couldn't have asked for a better pet sitter! They took care of my cat for a weekend we were away. Not only was he fed and given water, they also cleaned his litter box, played with him and cleaned his food bowl after use. The app they use is very user friendly and made booking and staying up-to-date easy. They even provided updates (with pictures) after each visit which eased my worried-pet-parent mind. Highly recommended!

Paul is the best! We’ve booked him a few times each year for the last 3 years and he’s always been great. He’s cared for our two cats and when one past right before a trip he helped use deal with the other cat’s depression while we were away. He has truly gone above and beyond. The app he uses for visit tracking and booking is also great. It notifies me when he’s there, he includes notes and photos, and I’m notified when we’re going to be billed. I really can’t say enough good things about Paul and the great care he has provided for our animals!

I've worked with cats and dogs for over a decade, owned a successful dog walking business in Boston's Seaport neighborhood (catering to professional athletes, presidents of Fortune 500 companies, city leaders etc), and am across the board an anxious wreck when it comes to the safety of my beautiful kitten, Pandora. I used Maine Dog Walkers & Pet Sitters the first week I moved up to Maine, and everything about the service was immaculate. The straight forward use of their website to schedule and communicate, the most excellent photos of Pandora each day, and the real attempt to bond with my very skittish kitty were all super appreciated. I am a paranoid cat owner who has been in the pet care industry for over a decade, and I use Paul's services for complete and total peace of mind when I'm away, and you should too! 😸

Suntar's Kennels also does grooming. We use them to trim one of the dog's claws as he doesn't need grooming and they do a great job of taking care of this very strong dog that hates having his claws trimmed. Our Cockier Spaniel seems to view his grooming appointments as a spa day. He is always happy to go and I must say looks quite debonair after his grooming appointments. We've not had occasion to use their boarding but I looked and it appears very clean and that the animals are well cared for. There is a play area for them to get exercise. I wouldn't hesitate to board our dogs here. And the grooming service is excellent. Highly recommended.

The staff at Suntar's Kennels were wonderful with our two dogs this past week! It was our dogs' first time boarding away from home, and the staff took great care of them, slowly eased them into playtime with the other dogs, and were very considerate and caring with them. Many thanks, again!

I Called Suntar's Kennels on a whim when I showed up to my cabin that was "pet friendly" all to find out my dog could not be left in the cabin unattended (even if caged) for any period of time. Afraid my children's vacation was ruined I called these guys and they told me to bring him over. He is a only a year, high energy, anxious dog and had never boarded before so I was so afraid. They answered when we called and helped us feel confident he was being well taken care of and not locked away somewhere. By time we came to get him he was trying to stay! Would recommend any day. My family thanks you for taking care of our furry child so everyone, including Gunner, could enjoy their Vacation!

We have been taking our dog to boarding and daycare at Suntars for almost a year and I can’t say enough good things. These folks are so kind and helpful and our dog LOVES her days there. I recommend this daycare to anyone who asks!

This place is wonderful! We drove from California to Maine to attend an event where our kitty cat wasn’t allowed, and so she spent five days here. Found Suntar’s online, and chose it thanks to good reviews. Setting up the reservation with Gryta was easy and I could tell she really cares about the well being of the cats and dogs who have the good fortune to play and stay here. We dropped off Merlie Bird early on a Monday. It was her first time away from us since she had come into our lives six months prior, so the good-bye was a little teary. The friendly and efficient staff did a great job of getting the details of feeding and playtime, and we checked in daily to see how things were going - reports were pretty good considering it was a first-time stay for Merlie at a pet boarding home - good appetite but more reserved than usual during the times she spent in the common space. There are a lot of options for kitties to play, climb and snuggle, and she did a lot of snuggling in a cozy covered kitty bed. Several of the kennels have nice window views, and when one of those came available the staff was happy to move her to one so she could look outside more easily. We camp a lot so Merlie was happy to get back to our tent, but we could tell she was very well cared for in her time at Suntar’s. And, we will definitely have her stay here again if the opportunity comes up.

Very accommodating to my pet and I during a pinch. Also very fairly priced. Looking forward to continue using their boarding services.

These folks love my baby!! He was so nervous his 1st time but they were so good to him! Now when he goes he is all excited! It is great to be able to go somewhere and not worry if he is ok. Love seeing his pics on their FB & INSTA pages!! Suntar we love you guys!!!
