What a fantastic housesit! Jacqueline and Darcy are very kind and generous hosts who made us feel at home right away. Jules and Maggie are both sweethearts and easy to care for. Jules loved to play and cuddle with us and while Maggie is quite elderly, she was a pleasure. Jacqueline and Darcy's home is very spacious and comfortable and we enjoyed the quiet, peaceful surroundings. There are lots of places to explore here on beautiful Vancouver Island. We highly recommend Jacqueline and Darcy as hosts and we would be happy to return!
Everything about this housesit was awesome except that Finn the cat encountered a bully that took him to a short visit to the vet for a wellness check. Lorraine and JJ were so supportive especially during the unexpected challenge. They were welcoming, helpful and friendly. Luna, Cloe and Finn were adorable and affectionate and fun to hang out with. Powell River was a great scenic place to explore with lots of unique shops and restaurants. I would love to come back and I highly recommend it as a wonderful sit experience!
Sarah is a lovely host and her pup Reggie is a lovable goober. This has been one of the easiest sits I’ve done because Reggie is so laid back.
We came to Danielle's housesit after a two week trip in Montpellier. We loved the area so much and wanted to extend our trip to explore the area more. Danielle is a fantastic host, we got to spend some time together and it was super fun to get to know her. Boulette is a beautiful cat who is independent, yet also very cuddly once he gets to know you. It took a few days for Boulette to warm up, once we connected he's the sweetest cat and a masterful purrer! The area of Cournonsec is interesting, many desert trails begin not so far away from the house, and the network of trails is pretty extensive. The other beach towns around Cournonsec are lovely and relaxing to visit, some towns hold weekly nautical jousting tournaments. I also enjoyed biking around, you could take an epic bike ride to the beach as well, it is a challenge, I recommend it. It was very difficult to leave Boulette by the time the housesit ended, and we hope to visit again in the future. Thank you so much for this experience Danielle!
What a wonderful stay! Melisa & Tobias were so welcoming and hospitable. Their beautiful home has all the amenities you could ask for and more. Jasper and Cooper are really the sweetest cats you could ask for and I loved hanging out with them. They do enjoy their outdoor supervised play time, but are pretty easy to get back in the house as long as you keep an eye on them. An overall great experience. Highly recommend this sit. Thank you.
Miranda and Chris showed up as really welcoming and open hearted people with an adorable and sweet dog! I came there to spend a weekend with Argos. Perfect for one person or a couple. Best area of Santiago. Really nice park nearby where it’s great to take the dog. Argos, has some anxiety issues, but only when it comes to other dogs, and a little bit with being alone. Except from that he’s very social and really likes company and connection. Also the communication went smooth, they explained everything really well, so everything was clear when I came. And they were available on chat for any questions during the stay. Their apartment had everything needed and they made it clear that I could just feel at home, which I did. I’m glad to know I’m coming back in a couple weeks to see Argos, Miranda and Chris and their home again.
