Jenny sat for us for a 2nd time for the weekend. Poppy is very happy in her company and we have no hesitation is asking Jenny to sit or recommending her to others. House left beautifully tidy as before.

Karen was just amazing. So friendly and easy to work with, and Franklin took to her the second she walked through the door (and he’s a shy guy who does not do usually do that!). The concert she’d originally planned to attend (that was the biggest reason for her visit to Cali) was cancelled, but she still stayed to take of our guy. She sent us fun pics and updates on her adventures with Franklin throughout the week via text, and we felt 100% comfortable with her in our house taking care of our fur baby. She even left us some beautiful and fun holiday decorations to enjoy when we got home. Thank you so much, Karen!

Philip was great with our cat and seemed a very pleasant, communicative and reliable sitter, who looked after our pet for 7 weeks. He was good at communicating and sent us regular updates. However, when we returned we discovered that he had used all our canned food, olive oils, kitchen roll, rice, loo rolls, fish and other foodstuffs we have yet to discover! When challenged he replied that I had said he could help himself, but conveniently forgot that I had added that he should replace anything he used, as we did not want to return to find there was nothing left. A 7 week sit is very different from a short one, where the use of a few food items would be more acceptable. He has not offered to compensate us or replace any of the items used, fully or partially, which we feel is thoughtless and selfish. We are really disappointed. In retrospect I should have sent text or other written messages to Phil to make the replacement of goods used abundantly clear.

Robyn and Darren were fantastic. Our animals were really well cared for and the house was spotless on our return. Would thoroughly recommend them

It was a real pleasure to welcome Caroline and Jane back for a second time to look after Merry and Pippin. I was delighted that they could arrive the day before, in plenty of time for the cats to feel at ease with them again and for us to have a great catch up. Caroline and Jane are warm friendly sociable people who I regard as friends. They are good communicators and they are extremely well organised and efficient. Their devotion to pet care is second to none. My cats immediately relaxed with them so I went away knowing that I wouldn’t be missed too much. Caroline and Jane took excellent care of my home and they were kind enough to prepare a delicious meal for me when i returned. I wouldn’t hesitate to invite them back. Thank you both very much indeed. Happy travels!

Harry and Francesca were great! They took wonderful care of my dog Mochi and my apartment. They left the place clean, the communication was reliable and I felt safe and comfortable having them stay at my place and care for my sweet dog! Would definitely recommend:)

We feel so lucky to have had Laura, Rod and Allegra come and stay with us to look after our dog Barney, our fish and our plants. They were brilliant all round! We had good communication before and during our time away - in particular we loved the regular pictures of Barney on his walks or at home. Barney is a big golden retriever and they handled his enthusiasm wonderfully, with long walks and lots of attention. Our house was immaculate on our return, with some extra little presents left out for us. We'd love to have you back x

Pam and Gordon were excellent in every way. Their communication prior to the house sit was clear, concise and timely. They went out of their ways to look after the dogs and help when one of them was poorly. Pam and Gordon were super flexibly in accommodating people coming to do work at the house and pick things up. The house was left in an immaculate condition with the bedsheets changed and towels washed. I can't recommend Pam and Gordon enough to anyone looking for practical, helpful and kind house-sitters. It was a delight to work with them.

Babette and Matt came to Boulder from England to care for my cat and home. We had a pleasant video call before confirming the sit, and I felt them to be reliable and trustworthy right off the bat. They did not disappoint. They took the time to stop in to meet, greet and pick up the house key the day before moving in. They left my home sparkling clean, laundry folded, everything in the kitchen put back in its proper place, AND a bouquet of flowers with a personal note left for my return. My cat was relaxed as he greeted me after a long journey home. Thanks to Babette and Matt. They can come back anytime!
