This was an excellent gig! :D Helena is a very nice, down to earth pet owner. Wonderful to work with. Her four cats were great. Even the one who supposedly gets feisty was nice and friendly, after the first day in hiding. One was very loveable. One was very playful. The house is beautiful, lots of artwork, a piano. Only several miles from Boston. Couldn't get more convenient. Excellent restaurants. I saw the Green Monster for the first time in my life. (Hubby typing, btw. :D) We walked Boston Harbor. Lack of time in a 3-day weekend was the only reason we didn't do all the things we wanted to.
What can we say about Maya, Ron and their children... They are the most incredible people we met!!! 💚 From the first moment they made us feel super comfortable, as if their home was our home. We talk to Maya every day and she made us feel part of her family, we felt loved and valued by them. Her family trusted us at all times, they let us use all the facilities of the house, in which we felt amazing. We had the most beautiful conversations with them, as if we had known each other forever! About Thea and Jemma, they are the sweetest pets! Thea is super protective of her family but she was also with us, she was worried if we were okay all the time! She is super affectionate and came to ask for love when we were sitting on the sofa 😍 Jemma is like a teenager 😅 Sometimes she spent the day outside but at night she returned to claim food and affections. I would recommend going to Ron and Maya's house to everyone, you will never have a stay like that. We miss Maya and Ron very much because they are the first family we have in USA 💕
Hallie is a playful and loving dog that loves a good run on the beach! She is easy to care for. The home is lovely and comfortable and within close reach of beautiful beaches, cafes and shops.
My sit at Norma’s house was a 5/5 across all categories! Taylor and Dan were very kind and caring from the very first minute. They gave me a thorough walkthrough of their home, which made my stay very comfortable and worry free. Everything was there for Norma and me to enjoy our time together. During my stay, I was excited to find out that Norma Jean is a multiple winner of the World’s Most Adorable Feline Ears Contest, the Best Teacher of Sass Sciences Award, and the Most Creative Chaser of Treats (daily challenge). I look forward to staying with Norma again in a couple of weeks!😻🙌🏼
I had an amazing stay with Elisa in Seattle! Elisa is a wonderful host who made me feel completely at home during my time caring for her friendly and well-mannered Husky-Lab mix, Phoebe. Communication with Elisa was excellent right from the start. She provided clear instructions and was always quick to respond to any questions I had. She ensured that I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Elisa’s apartment in Seattle was clean and incredibly welcoming. It had a cozy atmosphere that made it easy to settle in. Phoebe was a joy to be around. Her friendly and expressive nature made caring for her a great (and sometimes comical!) experience. Phoebe required medication during my stay, but thanks to Elisa’s thorough instructions, administering it was a breeze. Phoebe was cooperative and the routine was well-established, which made it simple to ensure she received her medication on time. The location in Seattle was perfect for exploring the city. Blakeley Village is a peaceful and friendly neighborhood, offering easy access to parks and amenities. I really enjoyed taking Phoebe for walks in the nearby parks and exploring the local area together. Overall, my experience with Elisa and Phoebe exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Elisa as a host on Trusted Housesitters. Thank you, Elisa, for trusting me with your home and your wonderful furry companion. I would love to visit again in the future!
