It was a real pleasure to sit for Maeve, Adam, Doris, Maud and Monty :) Maeve and Adam are exceptional hosts and really went above and beyond to make sure my sit was as comfortable as possible. They picked me up from the airport and gave me a great handover. This included a tour of the area by car, best beaches, supermarkets, places to eat and areas of interest etc. This is so helpful for a sit in Asia as things can be very different. They even stocked up the fridge for me with food and beer!! I have done many sits and never been so well looked after! The house really felt like home as I had been travelling and staying in hotels before I arrived. It has all mod cons and a wonderful TV with all my favourite channels! The air con in the my bedroom was great in what was very hot weather! Their home is located in a very convenient position for beaches, shopping, eating out etc. I did actually visit many beaches but by far the best is the nearest! Layan beach northern end of Bang Tao, which I recommend! Plenty of places to eat and shop at in the area and what made it easy for me Maeve and Adam gave me use of their car and motorcycle during the sit(although I only used motorcycle as much easier to get around) Now for the stars of the show! Doris the dog and Maud and Monty the cats. All 3 of them an absolute delight! Doris who is getting on years is no trouble at all and has such a sweet personality. Even though I had to give her tables/eye drops she was so well behaved which made it very easy. She doesn't need much walking , little and often to make sure she goes to the toilet. Maud and Monty are great fun and will play and cuddle often but all on their terms as you would expect from cats! :) You will have plenty of time to do your own thing and explore Phuket. If you want wonderful hosts, in a great location with adorable pets then I highly recommend this sit.
Kim and her daughter are the nicest! Extremely loving home with the nicest dogs to take care of! Happy to house sit for them again if I’m ever around the Boise area!
Emily was delightful she is a great hostess and was very helpful with everything! She is very organized and left all the information needed! The dogs are so sweet! They really love people and will greet you at the door and are very fun to play with! It’s so cute how they grab the toy and never let it go. Walking with them was super easy with two people they didn’t pull at all
We had a very enjoyable time in Bob and Delia's lovely, spacious home, within walking distance of all of Sidney's best amenities. They were easy to keep touch with and left us a very clear guide for instructions. Monty the cat is quite the snoozer, happy to be fed and cuddled. We enjoyed playing with her and watching her interact with curiosity. Jack is a lovely old senior pooch who knows how to enjoy a good nap. He is easygoing and gentle, very content with short walks, soft brushing and a full belly. We would be happy to care for these sweet pets again.
