The owners are amazing and go out of their way to attend to their tenants' needs. My dog is a loner, he is almost blind and has mobility issues, but Steve and Peggy (and Dale, too) made him feel comfortable. Receiving regular updates with pictures was great, too. We stayed there three times over the past year, and I can't say enough good things about Kennel Crest! Highly recommend!!!
Steve and Peggy run a wonderful place!!! They have gained my utter loyalty and complete trust when it comes to caring for my pup pups. Whenever I need lodging for my furry companions, this place is where I want my precious Artemis and my brother's dog, Maybie, to stay. Both dogs are 60+ lbs. What you can expect for Kennel Crest(what they promise is what you get and more!!!): - Experienced and caring animal lovers who own this wonderful boarding facility. - People who will give individual, exceptional and genuine care for your fur baby. Don't worry if your pet has any anxiety or special needs.(My Artemis is a stubborn pittie mix who is very picky about who she trusts and likes and she absolutely loved Steve and Peggy!) - People who really want to get to know your furry beloved while your pet is being boarded. - People who will fulfill special requests for your pet. - A clean, well maintained and well kept place for your fur baby. No smelly odors in the facility and no pet returned reeking of stink! - Plenty of room for even the largest of dog breeds. The individual kennels are very spacious with indoor + outdoor access. If your doggie has trouble with figuring out the door to get outside, no worries; time will be spent helping them figure out the "doggie door" just like with my Artemis. - Very, very reasonable pricing and your pet will receive the best quality and care!(If you doubt me, look up pricing and accommodations with other mainstream facilities. Also, look behind the closed doors at what your beloved pet is really receiving. About 2 years ago, my previous dog Phoenix(also 60+lbs) was kept in a roughly 2.5' x 3' kennel/cage along with approximately 40 other dogs who were crying and clawing and desperately wanting their owners to pick them up. I will never entrust my pup pup to a place like that again.) - Owners who will go above and beyond the "standard" necessities that I would normally expect from a boarding kennel. -Your precious fur baby will be soooo happy to see you when you return, of course, but will have been very, very well taken care of. On a side note, when I went to pick up Artemis and Maybie, Maybie had recently soiled her bed. Her bed had already been washed and was currently in the dryer. I also forgot to load up the tub of dry dog food in my eagerness to get the pups home. It holds almost a full 30 lb bag og dry dog food. By the time I got home, which is almost 30 min away, Peggy was already trying to contact me about it. Steve and Peggy drove the distance and delivered that tub to me. That was my blunder and they went above and beyond to make sure that it got returned. Instead of acting like it was the occasional FedEx or Amazon truck "intruder" on their turf, both Artemis and Maybie were rushing to greet Steve and Peggy as beloved friends!! So, if you're nearby and needing boarding accommodations for your fur baby, I sincerely recommend Kennel Crest!! I know both Artemis and Maybie agree with me! -Jessica Eberhart (Feel free to ask for my contact info from Steve or Peggy from Kennel Crest if you would like to know more. They have my trust and confidence!)
I have used Kennel Crest twice, each time for a week. My dog does not like other dogs so the group type dog daycare/boarding places aren't an option for her. At Kennel Crest my dog gets her own run with half of the run being inside and the other half being outside. There is a dog door connecting the two so my dog can choose whether she wants to be inside or outside. The inside half is air conditioned/heated. The lower half of the run wall is concrete and the upper half is chain link fencing. They take my dog out of her kennel run twice a day and place her in a fenced-in area outside (by herself, not with other dogs, which is important to me) and clean her kennel twice a day. The first time I boarded my dog I asked staff to place her in a kennel at the far end, against the wall, so it would minimize her interaction with other dogs. (I didn't want her to frighten other dogs and stress them out) The staff were more than happy to accommodate my request and must have written a note in my account because the second time I boarded her they already had the same kennel set up for her and knew I was going to request the last kennel. I appreciate that they let me walk my dog to her kennel so I can see exactly where she will be at. They fed her twice a day, at my request, and gave her a chew bone every day like I requested. My dog completely destroyed her bed I brought so the staff set it aside in case I wanted to keep it, which I thought was a nice gesture. They gave her blankets to sleep on instead. I also expected my dog to be a little dirty from spending a week in a kennel but she actually looked cleaner when I picked her up. My husband even asked if they gave her a bath. I don't think they did but if they did that's great! My dog seems happy when I pick her up from Kennel Crest which in turn makes me happy!!! I would highly recommend.
Had an awful experience using this Kennel! Received a call from them telling me that my dog died back in November! They barely check on the dogs and leave them unattended for most of the day. Would NEVER recommend to anyone that these use this Kennel. They did not accept blame a single time for the death of my precious dog. Such a young soul died for no reason, and they still can't tell me why.
Just call it Kennel Cough Crest! Kennel cough for last 2 stays. In September spent over $500.00 in vet bills for 4 dogs who suffered & are still on antibiotics. The owner's dog & 2 others also were infected...possibly more. BEWARE.
They took incredible care of our Great Dane. It was his first time being boarded and when he refused to eat, they feed him canned dog food of their own. They were also great with the miscommunication that occured between my husband and I. We won't hesitate to board with them again
Kennel Crest take excellent care of our pets! Staff are very courteous and kind and truly go out of their way to provide the best care possible!
Dropping off my dog and picking up my dog. Was the best service ever. Very passionate about animals, I felt like family was taking care of my dog.
Love this place. Always feel safe leaving our furry friend here! Highly recommend
They take good care of my babies and are very accommodating
Danielle watched our kitty while we were away for a few days and she did an amazing job! We got daily pictures and updates which was so nice to be able to know and see how he was doing. He warmed right up to her and that made us feel so much better about him being home. She even brought our trash cans in and offered to bring in the mail. I highly recommend Danielle and Peachy Pets if you’re looking for someone who truly cares about your furbabies. We will definitely be using her services again!
My dog Sawyer stayed with Peachy Pets during our recent week long vacation. He had such a great time. Danielle took excellent care of my Sawyer. I was a little worried about leaving him at a new place but he did great! He honestly seemed like he didn’t want to leave! I really appreciate the care and attention that Danielle gives to the pups. Her love for animals shines through! I would 100% recommend Peachy Pets! We will for sure be using her again for our next vacation.
Danielle did an AMAZING job taking care of our kitties and doing various tasks like taking out our trash and grabbing our mail, while my wife and I were on vacation. She left the house in as perfect shape as we left! Our kitties enjoyed being with her and she even sent us pics every day as she checked in with us on a daily basis. I would definitely recommend Danielle and Peachy Pets and will definitely use again them in the future! Here are my favorite pics she sent me to brighten my day to remind me of my babies!
Danielle has watched my two rabbits a couple times now. She takes such good care of them while I’m gone. It’s also nice that the rabbits are able to remain in their usual environment (my apartment); Danielle makes home visits, so the rabbits’ normal routine is not disturbed. I also like that Danielle gives updates as to how the rabbits are doing. As a pet parent, it’s hard being away from the rabbits sometimes, so a cute photo of them every once in a while is always nice.
Hey Danielle I got my mini Doxie a cute little Warm Jacket for Christmas and it's too small. They do not take returns. It's really cute and warm. Brand new. She is 10 lbs and it's too small. Send me your address and I'll get it to you for any client who wants it. It came with a lead too. Very nice and warm. Happy New Year. Virginia Pretz
We love Danielle! So far our pug Mae-Mae has spent a few nights last December when we took a family trip to Houston, then spent a day in her care when we had some remodeling done in our home. Mae-Mae absolutely loves her and we love how convenient her services are. She does a great job of taking care of all animals in her care and our family highly recommends her services. We're definitely looking forward to using her services again.
We had such an amazing experience with Danielle and Peachy Pets. Our Labrador had the chance to stay with her for a week while our family was on vacation. We loved receiving the pictures and updates. He looked like he was having such a good time during his stay, and he made several new human and dog friends. It was as if he was a part of their family from day one. We will definitely be using Peachy Pets again!
Danielle is fantastic! She is reliable, trustworthy and keeps in contact with us while we are away. I love that she sends pictures of our pups to us so we can see them happy and playing. Our dogs love all the attention she gives them, especially all the snuggles! I would highly recommend Peachy Pets!
I absolutely love leaving Daisy with Danielle!! She has fun with her other fur baby buddies there. I trust her to take good care of Daisy and any dog in the future. Plus she updates me and responds when I have questions or just checking in on my pup. I would recommend and I do recommend peachy pets to all my friends and family! I won’t go with anyone else!❤️ Thank you Danielle for all you’ve done for Daisy and for the times you’ve watched her for us.
Danielle watched our 3 dogs while we were out of town. We have one that loves everyone, one that does not trust anyone and our foster dog, who had a tough life so is a little cautious of people. They all enjoyed staying home while we were gone and they all did great with Danielle. She respected their personalities, so they felt comfortable around her. She was at our house when she said she would be there. Definitely using her for other vacations.
Rosemary is the best!! I trust her with my 2 spoiled dogs who are getting older and need extra love and care. They come back more spoiled than ever. Rosemary even moves her furniture around to accommodate Cooper loving to be able to watch out the window. Charlie has seizures now and Rosemary takes such good care of him which definitely puts me at ease when I'm gone. She sends pictures and updates on how the day went every day. She's the best!!
Wow! We had a wonderful experience leaving our dog, Gus, with Rosemary and her husband Dave over the holiday weekend. They took great care of Gus and sent us daily updates and pictures. We could not have asked for better care and highly recommend KC Pet Nanny! Thank you so much!
Rosemary at KC Pet Nanny is the absolute best! She and her husband Dave went over and above to make sure our cats, birds and flowers were well cared for while we were gone. We loved their frequent texts and daily pictures! What great people. Highly recommend!
Rosemary was amazing with our baby, Tucker! Because Tucker has the run of the house and is never kenneled, we wanted someone to be there a lot, to play with him, to love on him, and to sometimes just watch tv with him. Every picture and video Rosemary sent us during our vacation showed Tucker’s tail wagging and it was clear that he was completely relaxed and comfortable with her. We came home to a very happy dog and we truly appreciate the wonderful care he was given! THANK YOU, Rosemary, for giving us peace of mind during our vacation! We appreciate you!
Rosemary is a great pet caretaker. We used her services when we were out of country. She sent us pic of our cats every day and even brought my plants in off my deck when an unexpected freeze hit. I would definitely recommend her services.
Every time we go out of town and can’t take our Golden Retriever with us we call the Pet Nanny. Rosemary, the owner, takes care our furry family member as if she is her own! For a very reasonable fee she stays with our dog at our house which makes our dog feel at ease while we are away. Our dog loves all the extra attention Rosemary gives and when we return to our home it is exactly as we left it. In addition to taking our dog on walks, to the dog park and lots of play time in the backyard, Rosemary texts us lots of photos and videos of our pup throughout her stay. We love the Pet Nanny!
Rosemary is absolutely awesome. Her husband Dave assists her with animal care. Rose had to medicate my digs with antibiotics & Dave medicated our horse Sassy who has Cushings disease & needs meds daily. She took care of my flowers & fed the birds too! She sent pics & updated me daily on text. Really appreciated that. The house was left clean on our return. Recommend them highly & they’re worth their weight in gold!!
Rosemary and Dave are excellent with our pets. Two things stood out during this visit. First, we have a puppy who is just under six months old and a lot of work. Didn’t seem to be a burden for Rosemary and Dave. He got plenty of attention, exercise and even learned new commands! Second, our flight was canceled and we had to delay our return one day. Fortunately it was no issue and Rosemary was very accommodating with keeping them an extra night. We are very happy with the care our babies receive.
The sweetest person ever. She takes so good care of our little boy. Would 10/10 recommend her! Great communication, always on time, goes out of her way for our 6 month puppy. On Valentine’s Day she even brought him a chew toy (which he loves!). Rosemary is great!
Georgie loved her stay with Rosemary!! We were a bit nervous since Georgie was only 4 months old but we met Rosemary prior to boarding Georgie and we knew she would be the perfect fit for our pup! She followed our schedule that we have for her at home and continued with the training we were working on with her as well. When we picked up Georgie she was happy and tired out from all the play time and one on one attention she got during her stay. She actually has behaved much better since getting home and has been better about getting in her crate. We are so happy with Rosemary and she will be our go to pet sitter for our pups!
Our dogs always get the greatest care here! When we arrive they are quite excited, which can relieve a lot of stress of leaving a pet for an extended period of time. When we pick up our dogs you can tell they have had the best time and were loved on all week! Tail Wagger also provides grooming and does a good job for a very reasonable price! 10/10
Our pups love Tail Wagger's! They go to day care every week and we've boarded them as well. The play yard is large with lots of room to run. The groomers are awesome...I get compliments on how great they look.
Friendly people that love the animals they care for. I feel confident my dog will be in good hands every time I bring her to stay or get groomed.
We used Tail Wagger's daycare services for our Corgi Reggie for several days a week for at least 2 years. He LOVED it. You won't find a gem like this place anywhere else. The price is amazing, especially for how much interaction the dogs get. They have a nice field, they bring out little doggy pools during the summer, and we frequently got a surprise dog treat or bandana for our boy. Honestly, it was like dropping your dog off at kindergarten. If you ever have the opportunity, please make sure you give business to Tail Wagger!
I Love Tail Wagger Inn. They really care about your dog's and cat's. Very friendly staff knowledgeable about dog breeds. They have a great groomer on staff named Henry that has done an excellent job on my rescue dog named Chester. Their grooming department is able to do large breeds as well as small breeds. The grooming and boarding book up fast and at times it is hard to get in especially on holidays. If you are able to get in for grooming or boarding it is well worth it. They are Wonderful!!
Emily took great care of my dogs! It was there first stay but they did great. I called 1/2 way through their stay and she reassured me they were fine.
Left my dog while I went to NC for a week. She was happy to see me but I know she was well cared for. They obliged to her finicky ways, lol. The kennels are clean and the yards are roomy for them to play. Very nice staff!
No better place to leave your pups! Our three dogs have been staying there every time we travel for the past 11 years! Geralyn is simply the best!
Oscar loves this place. he goes for day care. grooming and boarding. Best people ever.
Tail Wagger Inn is seriously the absolute best place to have your dog. It's affordable, and I feel totally safe leaving my dog there. He comes home exhausted and happy and it is perfect for what we need.
Our cat and dog were well cared for. Both happy and healthy when they retuned home. Owners put us at ease and made the separation easier. Family had more fun on our trip knowing all was well with our pets. Appreciate quality care. Would recommend Mystic Acres.
Blue and Bear were first time pups away from home and they did great once they got settled in to their new home away from home. Jay and Stacy did a great job introducing themselves to our pups. They sent us text updates on how they were doing and even sent photos of the two of them having outdoor playtime! We have already booked follow up stays!
Jay and Stacey are the best! They took the best care of our boys in 2018, and then our dog in 2021. We have a German Shepherd, and a Tabby cat. We were at ease both times knowing our boys were in good hands. They offer playtime, and allow you to bring your own toys etc to make your pets more comfortable. They are the most patient folks, and understanding as our German Shepherd can be overly excited. We are using them again for an upcoming trip soon! We had no doubt who to call to take the best care of our animals.
We returned from vacation to find our dog with a severe bilateral conjunctivitis. When I arrived to retrieve our dog, I was told that he had some "goop" in his eye. It was clear immediately that this was more significant than "goop" as referenced in the photos below. These were taken immediately after returning from home the kennel. I called the owner to discuss what I had found and was told they only noticed the issue this morning and that they had put saline drops in his eyes. This amount of swelling, and inflammation does not occur over night. It was clear to me that no one had checked on him for what might have been several days. We were never notified that an issue was developing. My dog was bleeding from his eyes when I picked him up from Mystic Acres. He had a severe infection that required parenteral antibiotics at the veterinarian. Had this gone on any longer this infection could have resulted in significant harm. We had used Mystic Acres for several stays in the past, and until now have not had any issues. However; it is clear to me now that our dog was not being adequately cared for, and I suspect had not been checked on for more than several days on end. It is truly heart breaking to me that an infection of this severity went unnoticed, and no attempt was made to contact us so that we could intervene.
Highly recommend! We recently began boarding our two dogs at Mystic Acres Kennel. Everything from customer service to caring for our pups has been great! The owner truly cares about animals!
I cannot recommend this place enough. My dog has never been boarded before in the 5 years we have had him. This place is beautiful. Stacey was absolutely amazing and she calmed my nerves and let me know my baby would be in good hands. I gave her the run down on what my dog struggles with and she was very kind about it. When I went to pick him up, her son was there. Her son told me my dog did great. I was shocked. They said he had a great time and I believe it! He looked so happy when I picked him up and he definitely played hard because he slept for a long time when we got home. I will definitely use this place for my baby from here on out.
This is our favorite place to board our dogs. Plenty of room for them, plus some outside area to play. Staff is great of course too.
We took our dog Dexter to Mystic Acres, and he had such a good time! The staff was amazing and gave us peace of mind when it came to leaving our 2 year old son with them for a few days. Thank you so much for our experience, we will definitely be using this boarding facility in the future! :)
We have been long-time customers of Mystic Acres but I wanted to share a recent experience we had with them. My father had a long-term hospital stay which requires us to board his dog for several months. They stayed in constant communication with me during his stay and kept me updated as to how his dog was doing. When I finally was able to pick up dad's dog, it was obvious that he had received the same tender loving care he would have at home. He was clean, well cared for and happy. I cannot recommend Mystic Acres highly enough. Their facility is immaculate, Jay and Stacey are amazing and we literally would not board our pets anywhere else. If the kennel is full, we reschedule our trips! They are THAT WONDERFUL!!
They did a great job both times they took care of our dogs.
Super caring owner who our dog loves! He can barely contain himself to get in the door before he starts barking with joy!!! Hi Friends, I'm here to party!!!
This kennel is truly the only place I would trust with my dogs. We have been using them for years and send all of our friends here as well. My dogs absolutely love it and all the pets we have referred to them have had a great experience. The animals are kept very safe and loved on and the prices are affordable.
Absolutely unacceptable conditions and care. The kennel reeks of feces and urine and my dog came back smelling the same. I gave him a bath right after we got home because the smell was intolerable. In addition to the nauseating scent, he is limping and had pooped 3 times consecutively as soon as he got out of the car. I believe the limp is from irritated paws which is likely a result of the extremely unsanitary conditions. Believe me when I say I should have went with my gut on arrival, turned around, and found an alternative. I strongly discourage boarding your pets here. If there are no vacancies in the area (which was my case), consider a mobile pet service or another kennel.
I was temporarily homeless and staying at a friend's house where I could not take my 2 dogs. I could never surrender my dogs and I couldn't find anyone to take care of them while I was looking for a place to live. I decided to put the dogs in boarding. I was very nervous because they have never been away from me for a long period of time and they have never been to boarding. Kate the owner took amazing care of my 2 babies and kept me updated on their stay. They were there for almost 3 months. Every text or concern was addressed almost immediately. She loved and cared for my dogs as if they were her own. I highly recommend Kerry's Kennels to anyone looking from just one day to long term. It's the best price in Johnson County for one dog or multiple dogs with the best quality of care. I'm so grateful for her help during one of the most difficult times of my life. Highly highly recommend.
She was very friendly and had open hrs for drop off and pick up. However, the kennel had a very strong cat urine smell. The dogs smelled like cat urine when we picked them up so strong that we gave them a bath. Not my first rodeo with kennels and not one I would recommend.
Kerry has been watching my parent's dogs and now my own dogs. Best part is they actually care about your dogs. The pricing is great. They get your dog out frequently, walk them, play with them, run them and feed them. I have never had a doubt in my mind that the dogs were never well cared for. Me and my wife always refer Kerry's Kennel to all our friends and co-workers and have never heard of a bad experience with her.
Kerry's ia a wonderful place. Kate is very personal with the animals and gets to know each one. The kennel is clean and cooled in the summer. I highly recommend Kerry's.
I would never bring my dog here. My friend’s dog was injured to the point of needing stitches. No attention was given to her wounds until she was picked up by her owner and taken to the vet. She was also covered in feces upon the owners arrival. The kennel refused to take any responsibility or provide any financial compensation for vet bills.
If I could put no stars I would. Very negligent, smelly, and pets boarding seemed uncared for. I've boarded my pet in many places and once I walked in this facility, I walked back out. Prices seem like a dream but I will gladly pay more to ensure my pet is in a clean and safe environment.
There are no proper words to express my distaste for what transpired with one of my staff members' pets at this facility. I consider my staff members my family, and was vehemently appalled at the images I viewed when my dedicated and extremely hard working employee called in at work. NO living creature should endure whatever occurred to this helpless animal. If something this horrific occurred in my own line of work, I wouldn't have a job. To add to the terrible experience, the facility owner fails to take accountability for the incident, and furthermore refuses to pay for veterinary bills (which unfortunately is likely to result in surgery). Situations like these are why I will never trust any "professional" service with my fur babies, regardless of positive reviews. Hopefully this review will help prevent other animals from suffering abuse.
We had to leave our pitbull for the first time and he can be extremely reactive to people. We were nervous at first but the staff reassured us that they work with dogs of all levels of temperaments and that he would be in good hands. They weren’t lying! He did great! By the time we picked him up they said they were able to get him out of his kennel, loved attention from staff and even gave him his bath prior to pickup. We are so thankful for this facility and the amazing staff! 10/10 would recommend to anyone that believes their dog has reactivity or aggression.
Elkhound Ranch is absolutely amazing! I have a large, reactive, dog and I fully trust this facility when I board her. The staff at Elkhound work closely with each dog to make sure they are playing well with each other. I trust my dog is safe in their hands! Elkhound ranch also provides grooming and they do a great job! Over the summer, I did a two week board and train for my dog here and I was so nervous at first to leave her but it ended up being an AMAZING experience. I would give this place 10 stars if I could!
I've been boarding my dog Leany here for years. She absolutely freaking LOVES it. To the point her tail starts thumping the car door when we get close. It's a nerve-wracking experience to trust someone with your fur baby, but they make it SO easy. They even provide baths and nail trims! Look no further than Elkhound Ranch Kennels.
This is an amazing facility for your lil furry friends. Our two dogs enjoy their time spent away and always come back home smelling fresh and ready for a nap. One of our dogs requires a bit of space and is very wary of strangers. So far, he has been doing wonderfully and slowly coming out of his shell more. We are very grateful for the patience and kindness the staff continues to show our dogs. They are willing to work with you on what is best for your dog as to make the experience more enjoyable + safer for them. Scheduling is never a hassle, communication is clear, and pick up/drop off is easy. We look forward to the next time our kiddos get a “weekend at camp” and will continue to utilize their services for all future pets. Thank you always!
Nothing but exceptional service! Our 150lb Rottweiler, Chief was treated so well. The staff is great. Paid the extra for daily walks and he was in a suit that was great for his size so he could run from inside to outside! For a pawrent that has never kenneled their dogs this turned out better than expected. He was so happy to see me after a weeks stay. Thank you again! If services are needed in the future we will be back and definitely referring you to those who ask.
We took our two dogs in for boarding and training. We have been pleased with the results. One of our dogs is a rescue who was abused; and we are going to follow up the boarding training with some one-on-one sessions. We are especially pleased with the trainer, who took a lot of time explaining the training to us; but everyone was knowledgeable about our dogs, and could share information with us when we called or came and dropped of a prescription refill. We feel confident in recommending Elkhound Ranch for either boarding or training, or both.
Elkhound is amazing! I always feel safe leaving my pup there! The staff is super sweet! Never have they had a problem with my dog even though other daycares have told me he has “gate aggression.” They tell me there’s no such thing and most dogs act that way when overstimulated. I will always bring him here and no where else!
I did a 2 week board and train for my 12 week old Bernese Mountain Dog Poodle Mix and it was amazing. I got videos of all the progress she was making on her training. When I went to pick Penny up all of the staff were incredible and I was extremely impressed by Penny’s training progress in only 2 weeks. When we were getting ready to leave the Trainer was genuinely sad to say goodbye to my girl and all the staff came out to give her pets and cuddles. I walked away knowing that she was truly taken care of and loved. We are a couple weeks out from when she left and I’m still impressed everyday by how obedient she is for a puppy with boundless energy. We will definitely be booking here again!
We have used Elkhound Ranch for about a year now for our husky Khaleesi. We did the one month training with Josh and we could tell a significant difference in behavior and listening. We constantly bring her to doggy day care and all the staff know her by name, she is thrilled to see each team member. I love being able to get her bathed and groomed there, she smells wonderful and they do a way better job than Petco or Petsmart. I can tell they even do some training work if we board her for several days. Any questions or thoughts I’ve shared are always considered and Josh is quick to resolve any concern. I love that she always comes home wore out, (picture of needed nap), it’s especially important to us since we don’t have a fenced in yard. They know us by name and that makes me happy to be there. We plan to be loyal customers for years to come. I feel happy and confident that I have a safe place for my puppy. They did have a management update and I have been happy with things.
Brought my two dogs here for training because the new "adoptee" wasn't getting along with first dog, and there was a sizable size difference between them. Returning new dog to shelter wasn't an option for me personally, so training was last resort. While the communication was a bit sketch at first, the end results are exactly what my dogs needed. They are now living harmoniously, eating together, walking together and even occasionally playing together, but definitely not being aggressive toward each other. I liked the fact that they were honest about not guaranteeing they'd learn to get along (because they're dogs and you never can tell). I enjoyed watching the videos they sent of them training each week. And, I like that the trainer checked in after they came home to see how they are getting along.
TLC is a life saver! I had a family reunion planned for this weekend and my cat was seriously injured a few days ago. I was able to drop her off and know that she would be in good hands and get her medications on time, so I didn’t have to worry about her during my family event. The facilities are modern, clean, spacious, and perfect for my baby to be safe and comfortable. I will 100% use their services again in the future and recommend them to anyone in need of special care for a beloved pet.
I took my first trip after getting my two dogs, Ollie and Jasper nearly 5 years ago. They had never boarded anywhere and I was really nervous about leaving them. I called my vet’s office and found it would be super cheap to board them there, but they’d be in a small kennel all day long and only go out twice a day. My dogs are smaller and there’s no way my little Papillon could have handled that. I looked at a couple of other options, but they allowed dogs to play together and it just made me nervous as I have a semi reactive Aussie. He probably would have been ok there, but I really wasn’t feeling great about that option. Someone mentioned the TLC Pet Nursing Hotel and I called them right away. Just talking to them on the phone brought a lot of peace about the decision and I felt like I had found the right place. The staff were super friendly and helpful and answered all my questions. I even went to visit the facility before committing to it. It is on the pricier side, but Ollie and Jasper had a blast and I do not regret taking them there at all! They had their own suite where they could stay together (it even had a tv to watch calming animal videos), went out every two hours, did enrichment, had a bath and nail trim, and received a lot of love and attention. They even had someone come read them a story! I cannot recommend TLC Pet Nursing Hotel enough. My boys were so pampered while they were there. The staff is amazing and really helped put my anxious mind at ease so that I could be fully present with my family and enjoy my trip. I loved getting their report cards each day with photos. I will definitely be back!
Recently took our eldest to TLC for a 36 hour stay while we had company. We have used TLC with another elderly dog, and we loved it. Milo isn't exactly a dog's dog, but he loves people! The picture we received with him getting some loving from the dog cuddler was just adorable. He told us he felt safe, was well taken care of, and is willing to go back if the need arises. Thanks, TLC!
I cannot say enough to convey how wonderful TLC is and has been for our 3 dachshunds. We had two go over the rainbow bridge this year, Ginger and Sparky Bob. They both had illnesses that TLC was able to deal with in their care. My husband and I never felt uncomfortable or frightened when we left them there. We were one of their first customers and so want them to continue their success because they truly are amazing and comforting people who absolutely love animals. We recently had to take our last and oldest (17 years old) dachshund to stay for just a few hours. Zoey has been devastated with the loss of her siblings. We knew they would give her special attention to get her through her grief. And, that they did! We love you TLC! Deanna and Jamie Wright
Both of the cats were well taken care of. They were full of energy when they got home. The staff took very good care of them! We really appreciated the pictures of them over the period of stay, it really kept us from worrying about them and made the vacation much more enjoyable.
As new pet parents we were nervous when traveling with her for the first time. Everyone at Tender Loving Care was amazing to deal with and they truly went above and beyond for our sweet puppy! I can’t recommend them enough!! They loved on our sweet puppy like their own and took such great care of her! Thank you again!
Update: We've since housed our three senior pups with TLC three times, and they still amaze me with their level of communication, attention, and professionalism. Our dogs enjoy their time there...almost not wanting to come home after their stay! --- This was the first time we've ever boarded our three senior pups, so we were nervous about how they would respond. Our worries were quickly settled when we got the first report card with pictures and saw the literal smiles that they had. They were well taken care of, and all their medicines were administered as requested. We'll definitely be going back. Thank you to the entire staff at TLC for taking such good care of our pups!
Tender Loving Care Pet Nursing Hotel kept my miniature dachshund from12/26-1/10 while we were on vacation. My dog Maui suffers from IVDD and needs special care, including bladder expression and medication administration. I was unable to keep her with our other dogs (watched by my brother) while we were gone due to her needs. They took excellent care of her while we were gone, and even were accommodating when our trip was unexpectedly extended by 2 days due to severe weather. Highly recommend and will use again for future overnight stays. Thank you all for taking good care of her!
My anxious and energetic Jack Russell left TLC happy and worn out. This is the third facility I’ve tried for her and is the first one she didn’t care to leave. It really showed how much love and attention she got from staff! The report card was worth the $3; I got several pictures and notes from a couple staff members about my dog. I also greatly appreciated the detailed intake form so they could really get to know my dog. Leslie, the owner, even called to go over the form with me incase they needed any clarification. Thanks TLC for the wonderful experience! We will be back!
My 2 dogs, Cooper & Ozzy, have spent time and TLC Pet Nursing Hotel and I feel that have been well care for. Cooper is old and not very active, but Ozzy is 1 1/2 yrs. old and very active. The enrichment program has been good for Ozzy. He loves the games and the interaction with the staff. I feel comfortable leaving my pets at TLC and their care is very important to me. I feel comfortable recommending TLC to my friends and family.
This is a narcotics anonymous meeting and a very good one
Deb Sue took care of my fur-babies for over 12 years. She had my entire trust. I highly recommend Deb Sue's Services.
She is awesome with animals. Is very campassionate and adjusting to their individual needs and has been doing this forver, you can tell as her life's passion.
A great place to take your dog if you are going out of town or your dog just needs a play day. Clean, friendly staff, fair pricing and great hours. A place you know your dog will be taken great care of and be happy while you are gone.
I don’t want to throw anybody under the bus, but we had a bad grooming experience there and it didn’t seem like anyone competent was on staff. They used their knee to hold our old arthritic dog against the wall while they brought another dog out. Then said he needed a muzzle, which he’s never needed for any vet or grooming service. We also heard staff yelling at dogs in one of the rooms. I think the layout is part of the problem. There are a lot of blind corners in the service area, which is very stressful for dogs, and I don’t like not being able to view where they’re grooming.
💯 on 99% of all counts, huge thumbs up!! Kind, knowledgeable, efficient staff and a very well-run business! My dog loves going there! I just wish they stayed open til 9, and later on Sundays. It's hard to get there by 7 if you work and do errands after work, and the climate often doesn't allow for leaving the dog in the car while you run into the drugstore etc. So you have to pick up your dog, take them home first, and then go back out to do errands. Not the best use of time, or gas. On Sundays if you go out of town for the weekend it's nearly impossible (at least for me) to get back by 4pm, so then I have to board overnight. Not a huge deal, but not ideal. This is all part of having a pup, sure, and the other stellar services HSW provides are more important and I'm so grateful! But staying open later, even at a premium price, would be a huge help.
We are from Arizona and were in town for a graduation. Took care of our pup and were 100% organized/attentive to our needs. From the first phone call to the day we picked our pup up, these folks were professional, VERY organized, attentive, and treated our fur baby with care. I would use them again in a heartbeat and wish they had a location closer to where we live!!
We were traveling from another state and needed day care for our pup. Staff was so friendly and accommodating. Would definitely go again.
I like home sweet home. It's a bit dirty but what can you expect from a big dog boarding daycare. The staff is always friendly and helpful. This is where I take my dog and they usually always have a spot for her. My dog seems to always enjoy her stay!
Last minute reservation for nail clip and Dremel on my large breed (Dane & border Collie mix). She’s fidgety but they had no problem working her in and did an excellent job on her nails!! No more scratches…Definitely got our $$ worth! We’ll be back!!
Amazing service! Friendly staff and very understanding of all my dogs needs especially as a first time boarding. They have multiple play areas dividing dogs by size, temperament and spaying. Staff is with the play groups at all times and their boarding costs are a fantastic price with different sleep options to help make your dog more comfortable. They allow you to bring in your own dog toys and bed along with their food. Will definitely be coming back!
My dogs love it here and the staff is amazing! I never feel worried leaving my dogs in their capable and caring hands
I might be able to give a five star rating in the future, but as of yet, we have only visited the facility. It's required that you bring your dog(s) for a get acquainted visit, and you are giving a tour of the facility. I find this reassuring that they want to see that you're pet is socialized and can get along with other critters. While the dogs are playing, you're given a tour and thorough explanation of their services, rates, policies, etc. All the staff we met were kind and thoughtful and worked there because of their true love of animals. Unfortunately, our planned stay was cancelled because one of our dogs injured his back and needed surgery. Hopefully, we'll be using them in the future.
