Molly and Jasper have perfect kitten energy. I loved my time with them. They love endless wand toy play, jumping on their climbing walls for treats, and winding around your ankles when they come in with cold wet fur. And, they are mighty hunters so listen for Maya's big meows and look before you open the door for Jasper. Lori and Duncan are wonderful helpful hosts who took time to roast some beans for us. Their home has a magical view - without power lines - full of birdsong. I completely agree with Roger's review in August and recommend them to sitters. We hope to sit with the kitties again as they are quite adorable. Thank you Lori and Duncan.
We had a great time looking after the sweet dogs and taking them to the riverside for a morning stroll. The dogs were very well behaved on walks. Hugh and Dee made us feel comfortable and were very good at communicating, answering any questions we had. We enjoyed relaxing in their home and playing with the dogs in the spacious garden. The area is peaceful and a short drive from the shops and city.
Elizabeth is a wonderful host! She made us feel welcome since we arrived, showing us the neighborhood, Mollet and invited us to dinner! She also provided us a lot of info about the house, details about caring for Biscuit and was very communicative during our stay. Her house is a lovely space with all the amenities, big yard and close to supermarkets, restaurants and train station ( Barcelona Sants is just 30 minutes away by train! ) Biscuit is the sweetest dog we have ever met, pure love! He loves cuddles and play with his ball while wagging his tail. Biscuit needs pills for leishmansis but he take them without any problem. He also needs bathing but he loves It, so It's very easy to bathe him. We highly recommend this sit! We would love to sit for Elizabeth again!
House and pet sitting for Linda was a wonderful experience! You are disconnected from everything else and connected to nature as well as the horses, kitties, and their dog are in tune with their natural self. It was beautiful to see and experience it. The kitties Willow and Whitefoot are loving as well as the dog Mina. We also enjoyed feeding the horses and watering the plants. As well as walking barefoot on the grass and enjoying the beauty around us! Communication with Linda was wonderful! We would love to be back.
Dream house. Beautiful warm caring dog. Amazing generous and big hurted owners. Snooks is a very docile dog, literally lap dog. He loves company, once he warms up to you he will follow you around everywhere. Loves company, loves people, enjoys the company of other dogs, and if he sees a dog being reactive... he just walks away. Very vocal. If he needs to go to potty or pee, he will ask. He loves playing fetch. He knows where he wants to go in his walks. Many times I would just let him walk and decided the route for today's walk. Beautiful being. I loved him Miriam and Doug were always in the other side of the line. I sent them pictures and they will respond very fast. They were generous, caring, fun and kind. They needed to return a few days earlier, yet they insisted on me staying until the end of the sitting. I still decided to leave, and I felt lot of gratitude. The house is in a very nice quite neighbor, I was able to park my car inside the garage, which for the snow was great, and I enjoyed the hot tube. Their house is a museum of art. all the rooms are big enough and more of a house that I really needed. One inconvenient for the sitting is that the back yard is not fully fenced, and is not visible. Also it seems that there's a stunk in the yard so, yard walks requires fully attention and proximity to snooks. Over all, It was such a pleasure to be there and get to know Miriam and Doug. I hope to go visit them to cook them one of the breakfast I was sending them with my pics. And yes, is a high recommended
