Paul and Ej have a modern, comfortable home in Hadfield with views of the hills from the back and when the weather is good, a sunny patio to sit out on and enjoy the peace and quiet. Conveniently situated within about 12 miles from Manchester, but also with easy access to the Peak District for drives and walking, National Trust properties and characterful market towns.

We were left with comprehensive instructions and, apart from missing one recycling pick up and setting the alarm off once (Jane taking pity on Yeti's insistence that he really couldn't use the cat flap to come in for breakfast!), everything went smoothly.

The cats come and go as they please, always appearing in time for food in that uncanny way that cats do. They have various beds and sleeping spots around the house and come in and out via the cat flap, operated by dongles on their collars. The flap is timed so that after a certain time at night they can still come in but, once inside, can't go out again until early morning.

Toby sleeps on the landing and will let you know when he thinks it is breakfast time. Always with an eye on each other's bowls, we did supervise mealtimes, particularly as Yeti tended to be shy and would move away if Toby or Tali showed interest in his bowl but, in all other respects, they are easy-going and good company.

Toby loved being groomed and falling asleep on your chest, Tali was more of a lap cat. As mentioned Yeti was quite shy but happy to be around us, just not too close; his favourite spot was snoring gently underneath the sofa.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Hadfield (the location for the TV Series 'League of Gentlemen', so familiar to some) and hope that we gave Paul and EJ to have housesitters again.

We received excellent communication both before, and during the sit, and an exemplar pack of information.

Shai is a quiet dog, very educated, who likes to walk, play and sleep a lot😊 It was a pleasure to walk with Shai and get to know Chamonix.

Marcelle is a very nice person willing to help us with any inconvenience. It was a pleasure to be able to take care of Shai, we were super fond! It's a love♥️♥️ Thank you Marcelle for the trust!

Brooks
Brew was a brilliant boy to take care of during our stay on JeJu Island, we were trying to work out ways to pack him up in our bags and take him with us on our onward journey - being so handsome and having such a placid temperament.
His dad, Brooks wasn’t bad either, good communicator, quick to solve accommodation matters and really helpful with things to do during our stay.
We look forward to keeping in contact with Brooks and Brew and hope to see them both in the future.

Peppe & Peter were lovely hosts: organised, prepared, thoughtful and welcoming ...
Doug & Coco provided warm, loving & very interested company each & every day and night. Driving out for Puppiccino's, walking through nearby greenbelts while watching out for koalas & kangaroos or even just sunning by the pool, the two furry friends provided joyful company for me while I was far from home base. Thank you all for sharing such a delightful opportunity with me. I'd love to be asked back at anytime.

Sweet, communicative, and beyond pleasant. This goes for both Nyala and her parents. Nyala -super cute and breezy to care for. Angela-might have made one of the most thoughtful house sit instructions I’ve seen.
Would highly recommend
