Megan and Max were such welcoming hosts, everything you could think of was catered for and the house is beautiful! I totally fell in love with Jefferson and Franklin! We had so much fun together; and with the exception of 30 mins when I went out to buy food, we spent the whole sit together, walks and runs in the sunshine and in the rain, plenty of ball and stick throwing and laughter at their antics, cuddles were my favourite time Jefferson is like a big soft bear with a heart of gold and would cuddle you back, Franklin was the same on a smaller scale in size, but with a large character, both are totally adorable! Evening cuddles on the sofa with them both were the best; I have to admit I had a little tear in the car after saying goodbye to them, i hope ill see them again, I would totally go back...it was the perfect sit 🥰
This was a great sit with a very friendly dog. Shelby and Jared have an awesome home in a nice location. Shelby was great at communicating and very easygoing. Roo is a sweet girl, she loves to cuddle and follows you around. Their neighborhood is perfect for walking and Roo is good on the leash as well.
Really thorough instructions and great communication, as well as being incredibly friendly! Stuart is a little Rockstar, very friendly and great company. Their home is lovely and near to downtown Ottawa. I would highly recommend!
Helen was the most welcoming and friendly host I could've asked for! She very generously took me on for my first official housesit, and she kept in touch with me regularly prior to the sit to make sure I had everything I needed. Upon arrival, she showed me around her flat, and introduced me to Mimi. She wrote down a super detailed welcome pack which had everything I needed to know about taking care of Mimi, getting around the neighbourhood, and also about the flat. I felt very taken care of and comfortable from the get go :) Mimi is a very sweet, very beautiful, and peculiar cat. We became very good friends by the end, although it certainly took her a couple of days to warm up to me. She doesn't like being petted much, so you just have to let her do her thing most of the time, and she'll come to you. Mimi always liked to be in the room with me, and was always very curious with whatever I was doing. She loves her food and her treats, and is very playful when she's just woken from her nap. She loves to go into the garden as well for some playtime. All in all, Mimi was very easy to take care of, and I had no issues at all. Compared to all the cats I've encountered, Mimi is one of the most easy going ones :) She really grew on me, and I miss her as I am writing this! Anyhow, I can't recommend Helen and Mimi's house sit enough. I would give higher stars than 5 if I could!
Isabelle and Jack were fantastic hosts with great communication both before and during the sit. Their flat was welcoming and very comfortable, in a great location in the heart of Birmingham. Public transport options were great (although we mostly walked everywhere given how central they are), and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring Birmingham. Milly and Eddy are wonderful little cats. We had great fun playing with them and watching their antics. Despite being half the size of her big brother Eddy, Milly rules the apartment but they're both very affectionate and have big personalities. We'd sit again in a heartbeat, we miss them already!
We had a lovely time at Graham and Maggie’s, they made us feel very welcome in their quiet and comfortable home, with its wonderful views all around. Bertie is a gorgeous dog and we enjoyed walking him in various places. Feeding the sheep was fun and easy, likewise the chickens - we enjoyed their eggs too. Nice to look after Minnie, my first cat sit! All in all a relaxing few days on Exmoor.
