Muriel and her mother were fantastic house sitters. They treated our dog Frankie like he was their own and gave him so much love and attention that he didn't want them to leave at the end of the sit. They also looked after the house and garden, leaving it in an immaculate condition for when we returned. On the night that we returned, Muriel had also prepared a tasty meal for us, which we shared together and got to know them a little bit better. I couldn't recommend Muriel more, what a wonderful house sitter!! I have a feeling we will be welcoming them back one day soon.
We struck gold with Helen and John. We instantly knew we were leaving our animals and home in very safe, capable and experienced hands. Helen sent a couple of updates whilst we were away just so we could keep in touch and it was obvious that everyone was having a ball in our absence. On our return, the pets were wonderfully unfazed by our being away and the house was in immaculate condition. Had our dog cared for at fairly short notice. Nicole was lovely. Came by to meet our dog. Sent us some lovely photos while we were away. Everything done as promised. When she dropped the key back to us our dog was so excited to see her.

We booked Pawshake pet sitter for our cat over the Christmas holidays. It was a real positive experience we found trust worthy, reliable sitter to come our house to look after our cat. Pawshake was a easy way to find and book a sitter. Communication through was excellent and the Pawshake website and App was easy to use and navigate.
Shadow was beautifully looked after at short notice. He came home happy and exhausted after playing with Zoe. We'd also done the meet & greet with another carer who was also lovely, but the timing didn't work unfortunately.
We loved the Pawshake experience. Reviews helped us trust the choice and the system of meeting first between booking was good. Great day care while we did tourist and family things.

Love Pawshake!! Our holiday plans changed last minute and we could not book our Pugalier into the kennels he usually goes to, or find any that had availability. Came across Pawshake and booked him a stay with such a lovely pet sitter called Amanda. He was totally spoilt, had so much fun with her dogs, had visits to the beach, and we were sent videos and photos everyday. He was very well looked after. Bou and Tiggi had a great time at Pups on Playcation. They were excited to get there and happy to stay. Rachel and the family looked after them so well. The photo updates of them having fun were really appreciated. I love that they were exhausted when I arrived to pick them up, as it meant they had an active stay. I will certainly be using this service again.
Ivy had a play-packed weekend with Rachel and Poppy at Pups on Playcation (so many Ps!). When we got home she went straight to sleep. I loved all the updates and photos through the weekend of park outings, naps (on the couch!), cuddles and good times with the other dogs. Thank you Rachel and Poppy
Very happy with the care my elderly dog received at Blayney Barkers Boutique Holiday kennels. Pearl sent me photos of my dog and gave me dog biscuits and car airfreshers when I picked him up next morning. Will use her kennels again.
I just wanted to commend Renae at Deepwater Boarding kennels NSW for the excellent care she took of our 14 year old, (very particular and fussy) Maltese Shitzu , Mr Boots. He was happy, healthy and full of beans after a three night stay playing with Renae’s other small doggies. We will definitely leave him with her again

We recently had an unfortunate experience with Adrian, who we found through MadPaws. Our 6-year-old Golden Retriever, Benji, stayed with him last week, and while the sitter had great reviews and the meet-and-greet with his Maremmano dog went smoothly, our experience was far from what we had hoped for. When we picked Benji up, we noticed a lot of blood on his thigh. At first, we thought it might be a scratch, but once we got home, we discovered five puncture wounds, which were clearly bite marks. We were devastated and rushed Benji to the emergency vet twice that night to ensure he received the care he needed. We messaged the sitter to let him know what had happened and shared photos of the wounds. Initially, he denied that his dog could have bitten Benji, claiming he always monitors the dogs. While we weren’t accusing him, we simply wanted to share our experience so he could take extra precautions in the future. Unfortunately, he did not respond to our concerns at first. After following up to express how upsetting the situation was and mentioning we would leave feedback on MadPaws to inform other pet owners, he finally apologized. However, we felt that the response lacked genuine empathy or acknowledgment of the seriousness of what happened. We are sharing this feedback not to defame the sitter but to inform other pet owners. If you are considering this sitter, please be aware of his dog’s behavior and ensure your pet’s safety. We don’t want any other pets to go through what Benji endured. Benji is recovering now, but this experience has left us deeply shaken. As pet owners, we understand how important it is to ensure our furry friends are safe and well-cared for when we’re away, and we hope this feedback helps others make an informed decision.
Dont use these services, just google pet sitters and walkers and have a chat with one of them about options, all pet sitters are different and you will be able to find someone who suits your needs without letting Mad Paws take a cut for no reason at all, they provide nothing.
Tiago and his partner were absolutely wonderful with having our puppy sleep over for a night. They were lovely to deal with and treated our little man with such care and kindness. We highly recommend Mad Paws. What an awesome and easy service to use. 🐾
Terrible company, after contacting about 50 sitters who are either overpriced or keep declining I’m still yet to find someone who can look after my pets. The app is horrid and keeps crushing and the fee they want to take makes the whole sitting unaffordable. Would not recommend

I left my cat with Paws Galore over Christmas for nearly a month while travelling overseas. I liked the idea of Milo not to be trapped inside the cage like in most of the other boarding places, but to stay in a similar to home setting. The pet sitter (Marina) had a very good care of Milo! I enjoyed getting the daily photos and videos from them seeing him relaxed and enjoying himself. The pick up and drop off experience was excellent too, as I didn’t have to leave home and travel, which is a great bonus! Thank you Gina for your business!
Paws Galore were great from start to finish, not only will I be using them again but would highly recommend them. Holly was fantastic in keeping me up to date on how my cat Spencer was getting on when he stayed with Janelle, from the photos and videos they became fast friends and he returned a very happy chap. The pick up& drop off service they offer is very convenient and supplying your pets things ensures they have all the home comforts in an unfamiliar environment. This was my first time using a pet sitting service opposed to a cattery, and I wish I tried it sooner!

Gina and the team looked after our beloved Harry on several occasions. What we love about the service is that Gina matching the right dog sitter with the dog. Harry has stayed with a couple of different sitters, and each time he's had a wonderful holiday. Moreover, the communication from pick up to drop off has been exemplary. I searched and contacted many services to find an option for my puppy for an upcoming holiday and Paws Galore were just amazing from first contact to post the return of my puppy. They went above and beyond from the moment I made contact searching for someone willing to take a puppy on and from there they took care of everything including scheduling pick up and return. During her stay I received regular photos and updates giving me peace of mind and enabling me to relax during my puppies first stay away from me. It could have not been easier for me and it cost less than a boarding service for such a premium opportunity. It was such a well executed service from beginning to end which shows how well managed and operated this service is. I don’t usually leave reviews however this was a truly impressive service that I can not recommend highly enough. Paws Galore is a fabulous pet sitting service that goes above and beyond. They are so helpful, reliable, and professional and bonus - they even include pickup and drop-off services. I was really nervous leaving my dog Rory the first time as he’s a rescue dog that can get anxious at times. I couldn’t have been happier - The pet sitters treated Rory like their own, provided daily photo updates and messages which really put my mind at ease. Now when I go away, I can travel guilt free knowing that Rory is on holiday too. He’s since gone back at least six times, all of which have been fabulous. If you're looking for a pet sitting service that offers reliable, fantastic care, and peace of mind, then I cannot recommend Paws Galore highly enough!
We have been bringing our dog here for years and he always comes back really happy and healthy. Staff here are fantastic in both their care for the animals as well as communications. Our dog had a minor health issue (completely unrelated to boarding!) while we were away a few years ago and and I cannot thank the staff enough for how well they handled his care while always keeping us up to date! I regularly recommend Spoilt Rotton Dogs to other dog owners and I will keep coming back!
Thank you to the team at Spoilt Rotten Dogs for looking after Toby who has just finished 3 weeks boarding. Toby is a 9 year old spoodle who has stayed at Spoilt Rotten Dogs, from time to time since he was 1. He has always been very happy staying there. It was great being able to check in on instagram to see how well he had settled in and that he was having a good time with his doggie friends. It was reassuring to know I was leaving leaving Toby in such excellent care.

Best place to board our labradoodle, Olive. She loves it there and always comes home tired from playing with all the other dogs but happy. Owners and staff are really wonderful and caring. Also, very helpful and flexible where possible when we needed last minute changes to the boarding schedule.
The team at Spoilt rotten dogs are fantastic. Very professional and at the same time very comforting too. AJ was amazing, kept us updated throughout our whole break. Gave our boys and the other dogs all the attention that they need. Followed our routine to suit our boys. We are always using them for day care and long stays and I would highly recommend them. A huge thank you for taking a load off our shoulders and making sure our dogs felt like they were at home.

Everytime l checked instagram he was happily running around with a bone in his mouth. The staff are friendly, quick to reply on emails and instagram. I felt at ease knowing l was leaving him in good care. He has been home now 2 days and still looks exhausted!

My little Chewbacca has moved from wine country to city life. He is a very anxious and a high strung dog. After denial after denial from doggy daycares saying he is “too much to handle”, Spoilt Rotten dogs took him in and catered his needs with open arms!!!! He has separation anxiety and the staff take him of a morning and holds him to calm his anxiety and make him feel safe. For this, along with keeping a close eye on my little boy and providing updates of him on social media throughout the course of the day, he has flourished into the daycare world. I could not have made his transition to the city any easier without this company. The fact that on top of this, I can get him groomed WHILE at daycare, and getting my Pomeranian actually groomed PROPERLY and the most PERFECTLY that I have ever gotten at the most AFFORDABLE price, is something that will always leaving me and my little guy feeling so looked after. The hand over from morning to afternoon on how his day went really shows that they are keeping a close eye on the furry friend I love most! If you are thinking of giving this place a try for your furry friend, it would be the best choice!
My little dog Scruffy has been going to Spoilt Rotten Dogs for over four years now and he absolutely loves it. It is great that he gets to socialise with other dogs every week. Scruffy has his regular dog mates that he plays with each week. He always come back tired after a full day of play at Spoilt Rotten Dogs. The staff are always friendly and professional.
Paulette is the only person I would trust outside of my family to look after my fur baby. My little toy poodle (9yrs old) absolutely LOVES her and the other little dogs she looks after! He loves her so much that we ran into her on the street the other day and when it came to saying goodbye, my dog wanted to stay with her instead of coming with me hahaha! He stayed with Paulette for a couple of weeks when we went o/seas last year and he was soooooo well looked after! He also does daytime doggy daycare visits which he loves...he drags me toward her house when he realises where we are...definitely a good sign! If you have a small dog I would highly recommend Paulette...she’s such a sweet person and gives nothing but love to the doggies in her care!
I am really happy to have found Paulette and her doggy day care. She is so attentive to Howie, who was a shy puppy when we first took him. We get regular updates when he's there and his socialization has improved immensely! I think we will going for many years to come.

I had a 'high needs' older dog, Simba, who I had brought home from Europe at 13 years. Paulette was Simba's [and my] guardian angel. I do not know how I would have managed a busy, demanding job and cater for Simba's needs. Paulette was loving and attentive, and trust worthy. Simba loved going to her place and I could go away and know he was loved and cared for and safe. I cannot recommend her enough.
My cats were so well looked after Paulette! They are normally so fussy but when I got back after a week they were all over her. I would trust her again to look after my cats anytime. :)

The only place I trust with my many puppers
This pet sitting platform is seriously broken. I spent 3 weeks trying to withdraw my money from my pet sit. You can't speak to anyone. The 1300 number goes straight to voicemail and NOT one person calls you back. You go onto the website and it says request a call back at a certain time and date. NO ONE calls you back. You email and you just go around in circles. IT issues that never get resolved. You even try and delete your profile yet another IT issue. You can't escape even if you try! The only way I got my money back was I researched the CEO and guessed her email address. Low and behold I got an instant response and withdrawal straight away. I paid 19% commission to this company that did absolutely nothing!
This is such a poor platform compared to Madpaws. Every time I do a sit for them I have to chase and chase them for payment. It's ridiculous. The platform has extremely poor functionality when compared to its rivals as well yet it charges the same percentage. If I charged admin fees on top of each sit I reckon I'd be around $150 a night. It's a complete joke. Seems I'm not the only one who has experienced problems with chasing Petcloud for payment on multiple occasions either (refer to Product Review for other sitter experiences!). Furthermore, the app is completely useless, it doesn't work at all. I have to log in via a PC every time I want to check messages or update anything, which puts clients at risk of not having their services filled to their specifications (it could actually cause a life and death situation for a pet!). Oh and suddenly when I've become so frustrated with them that I write a one star review, I'm paid in a matter of minutes (after five working days' wait and much obfuscation saying there's nothing they can do) and I'm booted off the platform and have no record of my income from them for tax purposes. Thanks Petcloud!
PetCloud service was easy to use and we found the perfect sitter last minute. After the initial meet and greet, we knew our beloved hound was in very good hands. The sitters were kind and welcoming and they took lots of pictures and kept us updated. There are many reputable sitters on this platform so you'll be sure to find someone compatible for your pet and budget. Highly recommend.
PetCloud = peace of mind. We needed three dogs cared for in our home for a week and finding Cassandra via PetCloud was a godsend. We certainly didn't have time to advertise and vet potential house and pet sitters, so knowing the sitters were endorsed by Deb and her team was very reassuring and time-saving. The customer service from both Cassandra and the PetCloud team was helpful and prompt.
Great experience from start to finish, can not fault the sitters I booked on PetCloud :) They were very accommodating, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone! The sitter I booked had their own pet labrador who made a great little playmate for my dog - makes it a lot easier to leave your pet if they are somewhat anxious about being left home alone..this was the first time my 12 month old pup had stayed away from us, and she was so happy I don't think she even noticed when I left!.
I highly recommend PetCloud - it was so easy to find a sitter for my dog Luna for 6 weeks - daily visits and walking. Julie's care for Luna was above and beyond what I could ever expect. Luna just loved Julie's visits and it totally settled her and helped her not to miss me whilst I was away. She looked after Luna like she was her own - that's great piece of mind. I would thoroughly recommend Julie if you need someone to look after your pet - Luna does too.

We came home to a very happy doggy and received lots of photos during Chloe's stay. Chloe has a natural and kind approach to animals, which is why our doggy was super happy the entire stay. Would highly recommend Chloe and we will be using Chloe again to pet / house sit for our gorgeous doggy.
This was the first time we used a pet sitter, my partner and I were worried to have someone we don't know stay in our house but we saw Anna had really good reviews so I thought she would make the experience easier, she did! Anna house sat for us for a week to look after our beautiful old girl, Bella. Anna did such a awesome job, I don't know why I was so worried! She sent us pictures and kept us up to date while we were away, nothing was to much trouble. She even cleaned the house when she left! Would definitely recommend Anna to look after your pets and look after your house, THANKS ANNA!

Had an excellent first time experience with Petcloud. Emmalyn and Alison house sat Milly and Moki while we were away. We felt very comfortable when we met them and made leaving our dogs with them so much easier knowing they were going to be in safe hands. They did not disappoint and even messaged us while we were away to keep us informed. Would definitely recommend them, and we would be more than happy to use them again.
We are so happy to have found Sydney Bark Rangers! We use Kate weekly to walk our blue heeler puppy and he now waits by the door daily to see if she’s coming. He comes home happy and exhausted which is exactly what you want! Kate and Jo have also done overnight stays with our pup and it was great knowing he (and our house) were in such good hands. Kate and her team at Sydney Bark Rangers are fantastic. We recently moved from the inner west to the eastern suburbs and had some concerns our dog might struggle given his separation anxiety. Kate provided guidance on this and the doggy daycare/boarding she offers has really helped settle our pup into his new home. Our dog adores her and rushes to the front door whenever he hears her footsteps.
I’ve used Sydney Bark Rangers since August 2019 on many occasions including one 5 week period while I was in hospital. My dog, Summer, was very well taken care of and has since then had lots of walks and been minded in my home for the odd weekend and 10 days over Christmas. Everyone very happy. 🐾🐾 I would highly recommend SBR to anyone.
Very impressed with Sydney Bark Rangers. Kate came over to meet us and collected Twix and her things for her over night stay. I was sent photos of her in the park then later tucked up in bed. Kate brought her back the next day happy and you could see they were great mates. I'll be using Sydney Bark Rangers again to look after Twix.
I can't recommend Bark Rangers highly enough! Kate and team have looked after my Staffy on several occasions for the day and also overnight when I've had to travel. They are reasonably priced, respond quickly and seamlessly fit around my sometimes awkward schedule!

Nicola at Watley House has been absolutely amazing with our Jack Russell, Honey. From the very first meeting, it was clear how much Nicola genuinely cares for the pets she looks after. Honey is an anxious and “challenging” dog, but we’ve been blown away by the way Nicola was able to connect to her. The regular photos and videos Nicola sends are such a thoughtful touch - we could see how much Honey enjoys her time there and how well cared for she is. Nicola has such a wonderful vibe! You can tell she adores animals. We are proud cat mums of two rescue cats who have an abuse & neglect history. Due to our cats trauma & fear around men, we were seeking someone who was not a man who could show patience to slowly earn our cats trust and give them TLC. Nicola did just that, understood our needs and really went above and beyond! :) Our cats have separation anxiety so we were concerned they could have thought we were abandoning them. To our utmost relief, they warmed up to Nicola quickly. Nicola sent us regular daily updates & comments (photos & videos) of our cats. We were so very grateful as this put us at ease being away from them for a week on our first couples holiday. We had many worries since it was our longest ever time away from our fur babies. All our worries were quickly replaced with relief with every cat update she sent us. We highly recommend Nicola, especially to other rescue pet owners!! Our new re homed 8 month old Parson Russel Terrier Atlas recently attended Watley House for doggy day care and also weekend boarding . Nicola is fantastic , she is a true puppy whisperer and extremely experienced with all kinds of dogs and their behaviour . She is passionate about giving the pooches a great experience . Atlas didn’t have that much experience with other dogs and Nicola was very good in matching him up with the best play mates that could match his energy level . Watley house is much more than just daycare and boarding . Atlas lived going and can’t wait to have a play there again . Huge thank you to Nicola and team !
I just had my golden retriever stay at the Wately House for 2 nights and I can’t thank the team enough. They were so welcoming with us and Brody, they kept us well updated with photos and videos. Watley House is truly an amazing and loving place. The team are so kind, gentle, and clearly have a genuine love for all animals 🙏🏼 I was a bit uncertain bringing in my Shiba Inu puppy Ryu, who can be a little fearful and aloof, but Nicola went above and beyond to help him settle in, even taking him for a walk before his first day. Now, Ryu busts himself into daycare and has no hesitation whatsoever- instant play! 🤪 probably a little too much play at times too 😅 The team regularly provide photo and video updates and only look after a few dogs at a time, ensuring each one gets the attention they need 💙 It’s been wonderful to watch Ryu’s confidence grow, and we are so grateful to have found such a wonderful local daycare 🐶
Nicola is an absolute gem! We can tell that she has a genuine love and care for animals. From our very first meeting, Nicola met us at the park nearby, talked to us about expectations and allowed our (usually anxious) pup to smell and get comfortable. She then took our pup by the leash and we went for a walk together before leaving. Throughout the day, Nicola sent us regular updates and photos. It’s really reassuring and lovely to see our boy having so much fun. This is evident, because he beams with joy when we see him and he comes home tired from playing all day. We highly recommend Nicola’s pet sitting services. If you are after an authentic home experience, and not a commercial kennel environment. We’ve had our pup stay at Watley House for both daycare and boarding overnight. Keep up your amazing work Nicola! ♥️
When my home was scheduled to be sold via auction, I was incredibly anxious about finding a safe place for my precious cat. Thankfully, I reached out to Nicola of Watley House, Ashfield, and my worries were immediately put to rest. Nicola's positive, friendly, and professional demeanour, combined with her outstanding customer service, reassured me that I had chosen the best pet boarding service (Cat Day Care) in Sydney. Knowing my cat would be well cared for alleviated a significant part of the stress that comes with selling a home. Although we sold just before auction, and my cat didn’t end up going to Watley House, I have no doubt that he would have received the best care possible. I highly recommend Nicola and Watley House to anyone in need of exceptional pet care services.
Nicola and her husband were amazing. Helped me with a very last-minute dog sitting request for our Roger and Kevin. I received updates several times a day, letting me know how they were going. I've just picked them up and they are relaxed and not so happy to see me, I think they'd prefer to stay. I can't rate this business highly enough. I felt so at ease leaving them in the care of people who really know how to look after our fur babies. Thank you so much for all the love and attention you have given my boys.
Wonderful service! I’m so grateful to Nicola and Bennett for the attentive and compassionate care they provided to my anxious, senior poodles throughout their boarding experience. They quickly understood my dogs’ unique needs and ensured they felt comfortable and safe. They kept in touch with me throughout the stay, providing updates that gave me peace of mind. Nicola is amazing with my dog. I was quite anxious at the start, as my dog had never been alone at another location before. Nicola sent me regular updates with photos and comments to keep me posted on what he was doing and how he was settling in. She continues to do this even now, which I very much appreciate. My dog has become so much more comfortable around other dogs, he was quite timid before. Nicola picks up and drops off my dog. She is ALWAYS exactly on time for pick ups, which I very much appreciate as I am getting ready to leave for work. My dog also developed Epilepsy this year, which was the whole reason I contacted Nicola. And I have to say, she was not scared off when I told her about his pills and described what kind of seizures he might have. I had contacted other businesses and they turned me away! Not Watley House though! We had a huge conversation over the phone so Nicola was confident with what to do. Thankfully his meds are doing the trick and he has not had any more seizures since starting at Watley House. I highly recommend Watley House to anyone looking for a doggy day care service. I am very protective of my dog, and I would only trust the best to look after him. My mum, and Nicola!
Margaret and Jenni were so helpful in finding the right minder for our dog, given the short notice. The minder was always open to hear our dog requirements and provide so many updates during the time we were away. Our dog never felt alone. Premises were amazing and the opportunity for our dog to feel in family without missing us were great too. Definitely we will be using Don't Fret Pet again for our upcoming trips. Highly recommend this service for your loved fur-baby. Don't Fret Pet (Margaret & Carole) were so very helpful in finding a carer that was conveniently located. Helen the carer was just a pleasure to deal with and we felt very reassured leaving Sassy with her. Helen was obviously experienced looking after dogs and Sassy was very happy and relaxed when we picked her up!

She was so kind and caring and we knew this was the right home for Ruby for the 3 weeks we were away. Ruby loved being at Christine and Billy 's. She was so well looked after and she just loved Billy and they became best friends. This was just the best outcome for Ruby. We knew we could go on holidays and not have a worry. Christine sent us photos and updates so we were really happy. Ruby had a wonderful holiday, she was loved and cared for so well. "Don't Fret Pet" is an amazing service! The team was wonderful in finding the perfect sitter for our 9-year-old anxious fur baby, Mylo, who doesn't do well in traditional boarding kennels. We have used Don't Fret Pet for many years. Unfortunately our previous minder was unable to look after our 2 small dogs. Margaret and Jenny we fantastic and found another minder for us, only 10 minutes from home. We had the meet and greet and were happy and confident the new minder would be able to look after our boys as we do. We are just home from our 4 week holiday and our boys had been very well look after. It was certainly home away home for them. We will definitely be using Don't Fret Pet and our new minder again. Working with "Dont Fret Pet" was an easy and reassuring way to leave my pet whilst we head off on holidays. Jane our carer was lovely and I can see took good care of Heidi with regular updates. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending "Dont Fret Pet" to anyone.
Butler loved his stay with Maya and her children. They took him on several outings and gave him heaps of cuddles. He was clean and pampered when we got him back which was lovely. Would highly recommend the service and Maya.
We were lucky enough to be paired with Elizabeth who looked after our 2 x Jack Russell’s while we went to NZ for a wedding. One of our pups has epilepsy and requires a strict medication schedule and a bit of extra TLC, and it was no problem. Will definitely use these guys again!
