It was an absolute pleasure taking care of Zoe, Phoebe and Monica. Loved all the snuggles every time we sat down! Honestly the best little fur babies. Naomi & Alex were the best communicators and they made us feel at home right from the start. The house is so beautiful and could not ask for a better location. So close to Ambleside beach and dog park. We loved our morning walks with Zoe along the ocean and taking in the amazing sunsets in the evenings, so stunning. Can't thank Naomi and Alex enough for everything. Thank you!! We would love to come back again soon!
Nicola and her Partner Sam were incredibly accommodating to us. So kind and hospitable made us feel really comfortable and at home. Their doggos and cats are truly the sweetest. Very easy to look after and extremely loving, all four of them just love cuddles. We will miss them lots. We enjoyed our stay in their beautiful, clean house and there was lots of lovely walks (and pubs) to visit in the area.
Frannie and Cameron’s home is in a nice, quiet neighborhood. It’s very comfortable with plenty of natural light during the day. It’s a short drive or an easy 2 mile walk to downtown Anacortes where there are a bunch of cute shops, pubs and restaurants. The kitties are adorable and fun to play with. Odie is a chunky boy, but he can jump and chase after toys like a kitten. Bubba also likes to play, but he’s a bit shy. Both like to spend time outdoors during the day, but stay indoors overnight. Frannie was great about keeping in touch before and during the sit, and had detailed information prepared for our stay.
I loved looking after the charming feline quartet of Sterling, Poopi, Pickle and Fruit. They are very characterful beasts: Pickle the archetypal curious kitten, ever-ready to jump into the bath; rescue cat Fruit having taken to a luxury housecat life in style; Bowie-eyed Sterling a great sleeper; and fluffy-footed Maine Coon Sterling a regal, calm delight. At meal times I felt like the Pied Piper, in a good way. Lewis and Sarah adore their clan for obvious reasons, were extremely amiable and provided ultra-clear instructions. The apartment itself is spacious, stylish, and ideally located between the centre and beaches/calanques with plenty of books (not least their own).
Such a pleasure watching Kari's cats! They both loved their morning cuddles and playing chase but they were happy to just veg out in the sun receive as many pats as you can give. Communication with Kari was seamless. She provided detailed instructions on feeding schedule and her home. Kari's house is close to lots of amenities and very safe for a solo female traveller like myself. Thanks for having me!
We are so lucky to have had the opportunity to look after Ruby, she is absolutely wonderful! Martin and Fiona made us feel at home from the very first moment, welcoming us into their home as if we were long time friends. They are so kind, friendly and warm, it was a pleasure to spend the first evening chatting and getting to know each other. They gave us lots of advice on walks and activities to enjoy in Taunton during our stay. The house is so beautiful and has everything you could possibly need, with an amazing garden that we enjoyed so much. And Ruby, she is such a gem of a dog, she is very well behaved, taking her for walks is very relaxing and watching her enjoy the activities, which can vary from walking in the fields to cuddling or playing catch with the toys, is just a delight. We can't tell you how lucky we are to have met and spent time with Ruby, we miss her so much already! Hope to see you all again soon!
