Teresa and George were wonderful house and pet sitters! They took great care of our 4 house rabbits (including a senior bun who gets daily meds), our senior cat, and our veggie garden. The house was spotless when we came home and they even left us some flowers! Importantly all the pets were very happy, healthy, and relaxed when we got home, so we know they were well-cared for. They asked great questions and sent us just the right amount of "check in" texts so we weren't worried at all. We would be happy to have them pet sit for us again anytime!
Nathalie is an amazing and wonderful house and pet sitter! For week/weeks at a time she keeps my house warm, the woodpile stacked and my dog happy and exercised. Gracie (Tibetan Terrier) is glad to see me when I return, but has a happy, healthy glow about her that speaks of the care she has gotten from Nathalie in my absence. My house never looked better when I returned. It was tidy, spotless and my bed was freshly made for me-what a welcome home. I recommend Nathalie unreservedly!
Before Kaymaria messaged we had received lots of interest in our position, and I was already in contact with several different dog sitters. However, as soon as she messaged I knew we had found a match. Kaymaria was upbeat, enthusiastic and easy going, and it was a breeze to organise the details for the sit. She booked her flights without hesitation and kept in contact every step of the way. And what can I say, my initial instincts were right - Kaymaria was the most fantastic dog sitter for our girl Alfie! We were, naturally, nervous to leave Alfie but the instant bond they had was strong, and it only continued to blossom. Kaymaria was keen to know about Alfie's routines, exercise habits, her personality, no detail was too small - she arrived a few days early so Alfie had time to get to know her before we left, which was very reassuring for us. Alfie was Kaymaria's number one priority whilst in Lima, and I know that her day was spent stimulating and exercising Alfie, and exploring the parks around the city together. Without a doubt, Alfie was more loved and spoilt than ever during the 3 weeks we were away (we were even a little worried that Alfie would forget all about us!). We were updated daily with messages, photos and videos, and Kaymaria did an excellent job at keeping up with established routines (such as doggy play dates in the park) and giving her lots of exercise and play, which she needed. Kaymaria even bought Alfie several new toys, which of course were not necessary, but really showed just how much she cared about her. I know that Alfie missed her when she left and every now and then she will pop her head into the spare bedroom, just to check if she is there. Aside from Alfie, we also completely trusted Kaymaria in our apartment, and she took great care of the place. She took all the worry out of our trip, as we knew that not only was Alfie happy, safe and stimulated, but that our apartment was being looked after too. Because of this, we were able to really enjoy our 'once in a lifetime' trip around South America, and for that we will always be hugely grateful. We continue to remain in touch and I hope one day our paths will cross again. I couldn't recommend Kaymaria enough :)
Taking care of Charlie was a delight. He loved to play and cuddle and we bonded quickly. Bill and Chris are amazing hosts, offering me everything I needed, including a generous supply of food, kayaking nearby, going to the beach, using the grill and hot tub, watching the birds, and relaxing in their comfortable home. They were very communicative and helped me out when my schedule changed unexpectedly at the last minute. Charlie takes medication. They were totally up front with his needs from the start and gave me thorough instructions. I would love to care for Charlie anytime.
Naya was an angel. She is very sweet, gentle-natured, and secure. She never caused any trouble, except for crying a little because she missed her dad so much. Naya will bring you her toys to play with her... such a lovely pooch! Zach was a pleasure to work with. He left great instructions and maintains a very nice house. The neighborhood is also very convenient. 11/10, would sit again.
