We recently had the good fortune to have Ken and Jane sit for us for two whole months. They slipped seamlessly into our lives and became our second family. It was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend this couple.

They are both communicative, caring, respectful and resourceful. They exude such a sense of ease that I put my trust and faith in them immediately. It was a blessing to be able to focus on work versus worrying about the welfare of our four legged family.

Ken took fantastic care of our two calves and bonded very well with them! There were a few house repair situations thrown at him and he responded immediately and with great competence. Jane settled into the household routine and even took the time to sew presents and bake home made pies for us! Emma had a rough time with her arthritis and she was treated with extra TLC via hands on massages and quality time engaging her mind with new games.

Between wind storms and frozen winter conditions, these two trucked on without batting an eyelash! As a matter of fact, they took advantage of their environment and Ken was out riding the winter trails on a regular basis.

Ken and Jane are a couple we should all aspire to emulate. They have mastered a shorthand between them and know how and when to divide and conquer!

They treated our animals and home as if their own. Everyone misses Ken and Jane and we can hardly wait until they return to our neck of the woods!

A lovely housesit, set in a cyclist dream area of Provence.
Alison & Nigel were friendly, welcoming, and very easy to communicate with before, during & after the sit.
They provided a detailed welcome pack, which was great, and helped to ensure a very enjoyable sit with Poppy.
Nigel had said let Poppy come to you, and within half an hour, she did, then stayed close to us throughout our stay. Poppy loves company and is an ideal companion while sitting under a tree reading in the very pretty garden. In the evening she will sit very close and likes some fuss, she's a low maintenance, lovely, funny girl, we really enjoyed her company.
Alison & Nigels' home is very pretty, and they had thought of everything to ensure we had a comfortable stay, a lovely bedroom with wardrobe & draw space, very thoughtful.
They even introduced us to their lovely friends, whom we spent a lovely evening with.
Thank you Alison & Nigel, we hope to see you again in the future.
We definitely recommend this housesit

Bess and Jam made my house-sitting experience an absolute delight.
They are a bundle of joy and their boundless energy kept me on my toes. Running and playing with them was not only a great workout but also incredibly fun.
The house itself is a true gem.
Edna, it was an absolute pleasure to interact with you!
Your boundless energy and friendly demeanor made my stay all the more enjoyable.
She surprised me with a homemade tiramisu (very good btw), which was a delightful treat!
She also allowed me to use her car during my stay, I think no other words are needed to describe this sit.
Without a doubt, I would jump at the chance to do it all over again.
And frankly, I already miss Bess and Jam, but I am sure we will meet soon.

Abbot
Abbot and Carol are wonderful! They were really helpful in getting to know their home and their dog, Bear. They are also wonderful human beings.

Then there's Bear. What a treat to sit for him. He is super smart and attentive, loves to be near you and to join you on the couch – he kept my toes warm! – and let's you know when it is time to play ball-toss again. A mensch of a dog!!

I'd absolutely sit for them again should the need arise.

Justine
Justine's home is stunning and her cat Chloe was an absolute pleasure. I loved the sit and Justine left great instructions and was very easy to communicate with. We enjoyed the paddleboarding and the golf course, what a beautiful location. Would happily sit again if needed.

Jodi
We enjoyed our sit in Jodi's lovely home and the cats are easy and friendly. Shakti is quite senior (22) and doesn't get around much but she likes her food and kitty corner and will welcome a few pats and loves. Doogie is more of a Doggie in our opinion! He is a hoot. more dog than cat. So much personality. He also likes to eat and get attention. LOTS of it! That said, he is super easy. The house is beautifully decorated, not far from the beach and shops and all around comfortable. Jodi is easy to reach, very hospitable and fun to talk with. Great stay.

Incredible house sit thank you so much! I made a new best friend in Frank and went on so many beautiful walks, picked berries every morning and explored the history of the house. Forest walks and countryside footpaths, so close to Tyntesfield. The summerhouse with garden games, peace and quiet, and I felt like a queen dancing around in this home! Such a wonderful family who all made me feel so so welcome and comfortable. Would sit again in a heartbeat.
