Cat Sitters in Bishopstone

It has been an absolute pleasure to have Ellain at home taking care of our black cat Eclipse while we were away during five days. The trust was fast established between ourselves . Ellain has been very adaptive to our timing constraints and easy to communicate with. She has been everyday sending us pictures and messages and we appreciated a lot. if possible we will contact her again and and we can highly recommend her

Corinne and Jack are a delightful couple. We had plenty of communication before and during our time away. They arrived on the afternoon of our departure so we were able to answer any questions they had about our home and pets. They kept us regularly informed on how the two cats were doing and also gave our elderly cat Lola her medication. I think Lola and Misty were very happy in Corinne and Jack's company. Unfortunately during their stay there was infestation of fleas for which we felt very embarrassed and sorry to have to leave Corinne and Jack to deal with. But they took it in their stride and managed to get the situation under control for which we were truly grateful. I hope that in spite of this they enjoyed their stay in our home. They left us with a little thank you note and a box of chocolates which were much appreciated. If you are looking for a caring and resourceful couple I can highly recommend Corinne and Jack to look after your home and pets.

Jackie and Rob are a lovely couple who took great care of our dogs. They communicated well before and during their stay. The house was left clean and tidy. The dogs were taken on daily walks even in horrible weather. We highly recommend them!

Deborah was a fantastic sitter. She looked after the house and our dog Tiger for almost two weeks and both were very well cared for. Communication was great from start to finish and she was very reliable. Sadly we didn’t meet Deborah in person as my mum did the handover but she was lovely in all our messages, kept up updated and Tiger clearly had a wonderful time with her. Thanks so much Deborah!

Georgia and Lee were absolutely brilliant! This was our first petsit and so we were understandably slightly nervous but Georgia and Lee were great from the moment of our first message exchange. As they were quite local, we were able to meet in person before they came to petsit and it was very obvious that they were both very good with our dog Brora. Before the sit, Georgia was very helpful in pointing out the steps we needed to take to make the sit go as well as possible for example, pointing us in the direction of the welcome guide. While we were away, Georgia kept us upto date with how Brora and Tigger were doing, sending us photos and updates of how they were getting on. She also asked pertinent questions showing her dedication to making sure both Brora and Tigger were looked after well. Arriving back home it was an absolute treat to find the house very tidy and clean. I would highly recommend Georgia and Lee for any housesit and would be happy to be contacted for a further reference if required.

Jayne & her friend Graham stayed her for a week taking care of my Sulis and her boyfriend Tatters. The cats were not immediately attentive to the sitters from the beginning, which they nowadays are a bit more when people come into the house. They were fed and taken care of during the week, even if it seems like some of the diversity of food which Sulis are to receive every day, were not given to her during the week they were here (written in instructions and also showed where to find more during personal instruction, so shouldn't have been any possibility for misunderstandings). As the pet-owner I prefer a more attentive communication whilst I'm away (which also was communicated by me in advance, and reminded whilst I was away), though we seem to have different communication-style. I'm use to a bit more attentiveness to details, questions if something seems unclear during the week(better ask one time too much than one too little), photos being shared, so I can see how my animals are doing. I know not all home-/pet-owners are wishing for the same. There were a few agreements/instructions that seems to have been misinterpreted as well, even if all in writing, so my learning is to make more pictures for avoiding this. Overall the cats were taken care of during the week, and Jayne and Graham are great people that will be with your animals when you are away.

Ah can’t big up Billie and Adam enough!! I was a bit nervous about everything prior as I haven’t used zeewoi before but communication with Billie on the run up to my trip and their stay completely put me at ease. Billie checked in each day with pictures of Ziggy and was just so lovely knowing that I didn’t need to worry about him whilst I was on holiday. Flat was nice and clean on my return - wouldn’t have really even known that there was anyone staying which was a nice unexpected bonus. Such a lovely couple - you’re welcome back here any time!!

Helen was the perfect sitter! Our cat Marley was very relaxed when we got home and our house was left extremely clean and tidy. Thanks so much Helen - come back anytime!!

Hi highly recommend Sam. She was incredibly diligent in knowing what both our cat and we needed. She was highly responsive to communication both before and during the sit. The house was left immaculate and, most importantly, our cat was calm and relaxed when we returned. I will definitely ask Sam to sit for us again

I would highly recommend Maura and Nick as sitters. As this is our first time using a sitter I felt the communication while we were away was just at the right level. The house was spotless on return and our ducks and hens all happy. Maura was well organised, flexible and understanding as our house is still a work in progress.

Loved having Nicky to sit again, can't fault her care for our pets and respect of our home! Hope you'll be able to help again soon. Safe travels!

Carron came to look after my dog Oscar who absolutely adored her. She is a lovely confident person and well disciplined who showed respect for my home. I hope she will come and sit for me again. The house was clean and tidy and her bedlinen has been washed ready to be hung up on the line. Definitely a 5 star sitter! Who just lives animals.
