Jessica and Kelton are ideal pet and house sitters. They communicated promptly from the beginning of our interview process and throughout our vacation. Our two dogs were well cared for, and it absolutely ensured our peace of mind while we were away for three weeks. Upon returning home, the house was found exceptionally clean, probably cleaner than we had left it! They even offered to grocery shop us before our return. Their thoughtfulness stood out throughout the entire pet-sitting period. We are looking forward to having them back on our next adventure away!

I was so lucky to get to meet Rachel before I went on my two month trip. I will for sure. Try to work with her again if things if it’s possible, what do you want a pet sitter you want someone who loves your cat and you want someone who is reliable ultra reliable so that never on your trip. You have to worry about what’s happening back home. This is what we got with Rachel, she’s disciplined and mature and low-key and we corresponded throughout the two months and she did some small things above and beyond her assignment and I literally never had to worry about my house and I never had to worry about my cat. I would hire her again in a second in fact, you would be smart to do so , honestly there’s no downsides. I would say so believe me and I think that this service is so great and I’m so lucky to get her and I think she has something like 55 star reviews now she has 51 so definitely hire her. She’s amazing.

Akasia is a clear and effective communicator. She kept in touch and responded quickly to arrange the details of the sits and have any questions addressed. Krista and Tom were simply lovely and above and beyond house sitters! From the beginning communication was a breeze, and they were happy to come by the day before the sit given they were in the area to meet the kitties/chickens and get a run through of the routine. I was able to really enjoy my week away knowing my animals were being loved on and well taken care of. I got lots of updates and photos from Krista. Coming back, I don’t even think the cats missed me 🤣. The house was spotless, everything cleaned, linens washed, and the animals happy. They even went above and beyond and fixed a few things around the house and worked on the front yard!! AND left a delicious loaf of fresh zucchini bread which was such a treat, omg. Thank you both so much, you are always welcome back!!

There are not enough words to explain how good Maria and Dan are, they are the best! They care deeply for the animals they sit with. We know this because of the way our dogs react when they come into our house. The communication is outstanding. We could not ask for better sitters than Maria and Dan. I try to meet my sitters before I leave town but that didn’t pan out as Micha was flying in from Cali and I had an early flight. But she hit the ground running and figured everything out seamlessly. Pets were happy and well cared for, Finn’s complicated meds went off without a hitch and the house was tidy when I got home. What more can u ask for?

I just returned home from another trip where Roxanna and Rick cared for my dogs while I was away. Just like the first two sits earlier this summer, they were consistently fantastic. I appreciated the pictures and updates from Roxanna throughout the week. The pups were well cared for. The house was spotless when I returned. They were so kind and considerate and I would welcome them back to stay at my home again anytime. We miss them already!

Dana and Damon were a pleasure to have on our property. We are an off grid farm of 52 acres. Ducks, chickens, turkeys and cows. With all of the water and power being delivered by solar systems. Needless to say very few people have experience with this. Dana and Damon showed up early so we could go over the routine together. They did very well. Any unusual events that arose they either handled on their own or they would call for guidance. The property and the animals have been well taken care of. I would be pleased to have them return.

Lisa was an incredible guest and animal caretaker, we hope to use her again in the future. If you have the chance to book her you absolutely should! She took great care of our two dogs and cat for four days, and walked the dogs 3 times a day on her own will. She sent us pics and videos each day, and when we got home the house was sparkling clean, our pets were very happy, and she left us a note detailing how her stay was. 5 stars!

The most adorable dog + the most generous hosts ever!

We had the opportunity to spend 10 days with adorable Mochi. He is extremely well behaved, extremely sweet and enormously cute. He loves to be around people (or in your lap) and at night he will sleep with us in the same bed! It was a joy to wake up and see his little face every morning! We’ve enjoyed every single moment in his company :) 

We were also lucky to meet our dearest hosts Alex and Jon as they kindly invited to stay in the previous night. When we arrived they took their time to patiently explain everything about the house and cute Mochi besides already a very extensive and clear welcome guide previously provided by them. Communication was very easy from the moment we’ve connected and Alex and Jon were always available to answer any questions we had and as generous hosts they made us feel home right away! 

The house is very big with lots of natural light, comfortable, cosy with a beautiful decor and is set in a great location for walks and views!

Gillian and John are kind and supportive hosts being very welcoming . The house is lovely and the garden is really beautiful .  It’s a lovely creation. The bedroom and bathroom are also very comfortable and attractive .

It’s very clear that Gillian wants to really care for her cats and the garden teeming with wild life of many varieties . I do a daily bird survey and Gillian and John’s garden gets the prize for the highest bird count in one hour and the prize for the greatest variety of birds . Just amazing .

Sadly this sit was not suitable for me . When I agreed it I was in great health . However an injury was triggered which meant firstly I needed much more sleep than usual and the stairs without a hand rail were really a challenge especially if the cats sit on the stairs . 

I wish I had given back word on this sit as it’s full nature of variety , it’s secluded aspect , location and my own capabilities meant that on both sides there were disagreements.

I really enjoyed the wild life , seeing the foxes up so close to the house and sitting in the sun. I am rating this sit 3 stars because it wasn’t suitable for me NOT because there is anything wrong in any way with it .

If you are able-bodied , love wild life , enjoy beautiful gardens and history and industry close by then this picturesque and thoughtful sit is for you.
