Wonderful home! Allie is such a sweet gentle pup, she was so fun to be around. She is very good with others and other doggos! John and Grace's home is so beautiful and was such a lovely place to stay. Close to the bike path and incredible views of the surrounding mountains

I used to travel to Buffalo frequently for work, now that I'm retired, it was nice to experience the city on a casual, relaxed schedule. Brandon and Michael's historic, comfortable and spotless home was the perfect base for exploring the nearby Elmwood Ave district, including a farmer's market, restaurants, great co-op grocery, breweries, coffee shops, Delaware Park, etc. as well as being an easy drive to Niagara Falls. Preparing meals in their kitchen with its great natural light was a treat and sitting on their deck with the dogs and enjoying the beautiful gardens they've created in their back yard made for some perfect, relaxing moments.

Their wonderful dogs Dolly and Peter were great companions. Dolly is the largest dog I've cared for to date, and she exemplifies the "gentle giant" concept. She weighs as much as me, but was an absolute sweetheart. We were best buddies in no time, and she was my shadow, always having to be near me, and I loved it. Every evening after her dinner, Dolly would bring me a toy from her toy basket and want to play for a bit. Peter is the sweetest soul and so inspirational. He initially kept to himself in "his room" upstairs, but each day, he spent a bit more time with me. It was always special when he'd make the effort to come downstairs to hang out with me and Dolly. He loved being out in the back yard, rolling in the grass, chasing after the squirrels and soaking up the sun. Walking Dolly was not difficult, but as Brandon explained in their thorough sitter guide, she is strong and can be a bit stubborn. If she wanted to rest during a walk, she would simply lay down and I had to wait until she was ready to continue walking, which usually took 10-minutes or so. This wasn't a problem, just something to be aware of when walking her.

If you enjoy a walkable neighborhood with some beautiful homes and historic architecture and love being around sweet, friendly dogs, then this sit would be a perfect fit for you. Many thanks to Brandon and Michael for allowing me to care for their sweet pups and giving me the opportunity to enjoy their lovely home.

Sarah
A last minute sit turned out to be one of our most memorable with Bella who is sweet natured , intelligent and well mannered girl 🐶

Correspondence with Sarah was great from the start.

The location was excellent and stunningly beautiful.

The lounge and our bed was very comfy. We had an interesting & comprehensive selection of books to read .The wildlife & birds also kept us fully entertained through the windows as we sat in front of the log burner in the early evenings.

We loved every minute here and feel so grateful for the experience. It's been amazing, especially the Gill which is an enchanted woodland area with 2 waterfalls and bee hives.

Our dog didn't want to leave.

We've had a wonderful experience and would return within a heartbeat .

I had a short but sweet stay at Trish and James’ home. Dobby and Baloo were very sweet and easy going. We had a nice little afternoon in the back garden in the sun where they could have a run around. They were very well behaved and enjoyed a pat. Trish and James’ home was very clean and tidy and I felt right at home. The bed was very comfy which I loved and it had all the amenities you could need. The communication was great and the key hand over and drop off was easy. I loved my stay and hope I get to see Dobby and Baloo again soon.
