Oh my word… I felt so very honoured to be left in charge of the darling Ghost and Shadow whilst Yvonne was away swimming with sharks, riding the dunes, zip wiring Rio and god only knows what else was left undiscovered! Meanwhile….. cats were taking advantage of the calm, which is exactly what this beautiful home is all about. I spent 3 glorious weeks, really not wanting to leave the house, enjoying my yoga pract, whilst feasting upon the most exquisite views , feline company and constant amusement and trust provided by the dear darlings, Ghost and Shadow. Communication was absolutely spot on, and despite the astonishing house being very high tech, nothing was a problem in the day to day running. I have been lucky enough to stay in some fabulous places through THS,but this sit is right up there as an absolute 5* I would jump at the chance if lucky enough to be invited back!
I enjoyed my stay at Deanna’s house, it was such a beautiful home and the cats warmed up to me quite quickly! Athena is feral so I didn’t interact with her much, but I could tell she grew more comfortable around me as she would make herself more visible. Rumi is the sweetest to cuddle with and very affectionate once comfortable around you. I would definitely sit for Deanna again!
