We were so lucky to have Jim & Julie look after our two precious cats and our home recently. Our trip was booked at short notice and they were so generous with their time, making an effort to meet us, Zig & Zag and visit our home prior to the sitting dates. They experienced some pretty wild Brisbane weather while staying and their care for the animals first and then the house, was just fantastic. For me, the most important thing is that my animals are loved, protected and cared for and that is exactly what Zig & Zag reported back to us. They were two very relaxed, happy and well groomed cats on our return. The house was immaculate and everything was as we left it. From the moment Jim booked, to when we arrived back, they were regularly in contact with us. We were completely confident and therefore had a great holiday. I would absolutely recommend Jim & Julie for any house sit they apply for and I hope they will be back to stay with Zig and Zag next time we are away. Our very best to you both, John & Jude

2022: Want to leave a more current review - Patricia's Pampered Pets and People, LLC is simply the best dog daycare around. Not only is our Mora spoiled, so are we. Mora's doggy social needs are met in their huge play area with many different breeds and doggy sizes as well as her health with adequate rest time during Classical Nap time. Mora gets excited when we take her out and when we pick her up she is happy, tired, and healthy. We could not ask for anything more. A five star rating each time. 2019:No better doggy daycare in Colorado Springs. Their no crate/kennel policy is like Mora is right at home. She loves this place and so do we!!!
Highly recommend! Our golden (4 yr old) has been going to Pampered Pooches Playground weekly for over a year now. We’ve also boarded her on multiple occasions for up to a week at a time, and couldn’t be happier with the care and attention she receives. She’s treated like one of the family! We greatly appreciate Patricia & Oliver’s focus on “quality over quantity”, day and night supervision of all of the pups, and regular texts with updates & photos of our girl playing.
Our lab loves going to spend time with Patricia and the other pups when we are away. He has so much fun playing and being loved on that when we pick him up he comes home and is exhausted! Patricia is incredibly communicative and great about giving updates and sharing photos of the fun that is taking place on her property. I would highly recommend leaving your pups here for a peace of mind while traveling. They really are well taken care of, have access to play freely, and also have the opportunity to rest and be part of the family while staying in Patricia's home as opposed to being left in a small crate or run.
We had a wonderful experience with Patricia. She was enormously flexible with us and spent a great deal of time up front with us explaining the setup and experience of boarding with her. We felt so comfortable that our dog was in excellent hands and well cared for. We also loved the updates and pictures sent throughout the week. We can’t wait to go back, it is the perfect experience for our pup!
We take our dogs to Patricia for day care and boarding and we wouldn't think of taking them anywhere else. Our dogs are always excited to go spend time with her. She is knowledgeable and has a good deal of experience. Every dog is vetted and approved before they stay with her. Very safe and clean environment. Kennel free! My two pups just spent a long weekend with her and I never worried about how they were doing. We received pictures and updates daily. It was wonderful.
Such a great experience from beginning to end! Patricia was very accommodating. I contacted her on short notice to board my dog and she went out of her way to make it work. She and her husband have a perfect set up and you can tell that they have been doing it for many years. Patricia sent me many updates and pictures while I was away and took time to ask specific behavioral questions about my dog. She really puts in the time, effort, and love to care for each dog individually. Between play time, naps, lots of snugs, and no noisy, overcrowded crates or kennels, my dog looked like he had a great time and I felt relieved while I was away knowing he was in such good hands. It was a very low stress experience for both my pup and I. I hope to use no one other than Pampered Pets & People for our boarding needs. Thank you Patricia!!
Patricia has taken wonderful care of both my dogs that have stayed with her. She goes out of her way to best meet your dog's needs. After a boarding visit, our pup came home with better greeting manners. She gets a great socialization experience and gets some training. Our last dog had some very specific issues with timing of eating. She was the only pet boarding business willing to accommodate her needs to minimize an upset tummy. I miss my dog's dearly when I have to leave them, but daily texts and photos about how they are doing put my mind at ease.
Our dog has been to Patricia for several day visits and also overnight for a vacation. We receive pictures/updates and Patricia is always very responsive with communication. Our dog comes home happy and tired... the best combo! She loves being outside in nice weather, so the big fenced play area is a big plus. The indoor free-roaming is what we all want for our fur babies! Happy to have found Patricia and Pampered Pets!
Amazing. They have an amazing home that they have dedicated to providing the best possible set up for these pups. Kennel free, free space to run and play, and plenty of love and affection! Big fenced in back yard, dog friendly landscaping, and even dog friendly inside space. My pup had the best weekend of her life - as evidenced by the several pictures and updates Patricia would so thoughtfully send throughout the day. It made me feel great knowing our dog was being loved on and having fun while we were away. This is my first and only choice for boarding from now on!
Patricia runs a top notch business. She evaluates every dog before accepting them into her home. My dogs love going there and my GSD has really come out of his shell since being introduced to that environment. He has become so much more confident and both dogs continue to thrive with their socialization skills. The environment she has created both in her home and in the play yard is fantastic. I love the pictures she send and the updates provided on how they are doing. I highly recommend her services.
Anyone who loves their pets and considers them a huge part of the family should love this sitter. We have 2 rescue corgi mixes that have a really hard time getting know people and not being scared to death of new unfamiliar surrounds. That being said we had to leave them for a week and I was so impressed by other reviews I had read about MIss Ashley. I contacted her and took my 2 girls for a visit. She made me feel so comfortable, she was so in tune to my doggies feelings and needs. She kept us informed all week with what they were up to including pictures. When we picked them up they were happy to be coming home but very spunky and comfortable with the new surroundings. This was the first time since their adoption 8 years ago we have left them anywhere. I would highly recommend.

Polly was absolutely awesome! We have a farm of animals (horse, chickens, dogs, cats) and have had difficulty getting a reliable pet sitter to care for our menagerie. Polly was prompt in daily communication and took the initiative to go above and beyond! Watering plants, gathering mail, picking up packages and even cleaning up after our furry friends - she did it all! We would recommend Pollywog's Pet Sitting without hesitation!!
She is seriously amazing! One of the best sitters I have had. She takes the time to make your pup comfortable. My dog like ice cubes in his water and she even puts a couple pieces in his water before she leaves. Every time I get home after she walks my dog he has a full bowl of water and it is clean! We have a lock that attached outside our door and she is always careful to make certain it is locked securely. Extremely pleased dog owner!
The best pet sitting experience that my wife and I have had. Very easy to deal with, administered our cat's medication (oral liquid), and gave us email/text updates. A+.
We used this service for our 4 big dogs (3 Newfoundlands and 1 elderly Lab). The dogs responded well and seemed quite contented when we came home. Will use this service again when we are gone for overnight trips.

In just three hours, Marley was showered with belly rubs, had a blast playing fetch, and enjoyed a nice walk. They even sent me updates throughout (images attached), so I got to see all the fun Marley was having. We came home to a happy dog ready for cuddles and sleep. Honestly, there's no better pet care service (or people) out there. As a dog mom of two older dogs (14 and 8), I've experienced a LOT of pet care situations over the years, and usually only trust family/friends to care for our dogs. We have used them twice now, one of which was for a week-long trip across the country. It was so nice having one less thing to worry about while we were gone. I read another review that says Meemah and Bone has set a NEW standard for pet care - and that couldn't be more accurate. ALL AROUND INCREDIBLE! They are caring, communicative, and go above and beyond to provide top-notch care. I'm thankful and won't ever use anyone else! YOU WILL NOT REGRET HIRING THEM. As a life-long pet owner I've never entrusted my dogs to a pet sitting service, instead I've always had close friends or family watch my quirky little rescue dogs. This year, with family and friends unavailable, I needed to do so for a 10-day vacation, and reached out to Danielle with Meemah and Bone Pet Sitting Services. From start to finish, the entire experience was absolutely amazing. Here are just a few things that kept me in awe throughout the entire process. * Pre-consultation - both individuals who would be caring for my dogs visited for a meet & greet, to cover the logistics, and to discuss my rescue dogs' quirky needs. * During this visit, they provided me a secure door lockbox (which they told me comes with the services and to keep). * Communications were absolutely perfect. I contracted for three 30 minute visits/day and after each of their visits, I received a timely, lengthy & extremely detailed report. I have home cameras and each report perfectly jived with each visit (not that I ever had any doubts that they would). They also took multiple photos during each visit. They maintained meticulous documentation of medications administered. Meemah and Bone's online communications portal/app was very easy to use. * While I was away, there was a report of a house fire in my general area. Danielle raced out to my home to assess the situation, called me to let me know and to not be worried, and she gathered the supplies necessary should she need to evacuate my dogs to her home. Although evacuation wasn't necessary (as that fire was quickly contained), I was comforted to know she kept my dogs proactively top-of-mind! * One of my dogs is on medications for seizures and during one visit he was exhibiting signs that a seizure might be forthcoming, so Danielle stayed longer to care for him and to ensure he was OK (he was). * Most importantly in my mind, Danielle & Brittany took the time to really learn about my quirky little rescue dogs (and taught me a few things in the process). For example, I now know what specific type of music each dog prefers, that Norman likes to have his no-hide chewy held for him while he's working on it, that he likes to be hand-fed, and that both boys enjoyed Danielle's Mexican-themed little indoor pool party in honor of my vacation destination (Danielle's photos and commentary were hilarious). As a pet parent, there is great comfort knowing you can leave your dogs in qualified, flexible, committed, loving, and caring hands. I have already planned another trip in the near future and have contracted their services again. I will never use anyone other than Meemah and Bone Pet Sitting Service, they are just that good! Thank you so very much, Danielle & Brittany . . . Norman & Peanut miss you and can't wait to see you again!
I love how well my dogs respond to Ally. She comes over at lunch time to let my rascals out and they get to play with short bursts of training. I must say they are the best!! From my initial interaction requesting information, to the meet and greet with my pack, the women who run this company are organized, methodical, and on top of their game. What I didn’t expect was how amazing they were at handling last minute changes during my trip. They went above and beyond to extend my services, and make sure my pack was well cared for so I could focus on family when it really mattered. I will continue to use Meemah and Bone, and recommend them to anyone who asks me about pet sitting services, because they are just that good.
My dog Kekoa loves Danielle! He looks at her with so much love and wags his tail until she gives him more snuggles. She is very patient with him when he gets overly excited and loves to go on walks with her. She is great!
We’ve used another pet sitting company for years and after being less than satisfied during a recent visit - we decided to try Meemaw & Bone, and so so happy we did. These ladies are absolutely spectacular and personable. We had zero concerns the entire time we were away as they provided reports and pictures during each visit and went above and beyond to make sure our Bandit Boy was comfortable. We returned home to a very happy and well cared for house. Will be using this company exclusively for our future pet sitting needs. I can’t thank you ladies enough! The entire team is phenomenal! They are always reliable and very flexible with my schedule needs. We have used PlayTime several times, most recently over Labor Day weekend. Scheduling their time with our pets easy and they sent sweet, thorough updates and photos with each visit. It really eased our mind and helped us enjoy our family vacation knowing our fur babies were so well taken care of.
PlayTime Pet Sitters is fabulous! We have a high anxiety pup that we were very nervous about leaving with anyone....they came in and met with our girl so that we would be comfortable before leaving. The text updates with pictures reassured us while we were gone that our baby was having a great time and was very well cared for! We had overnight visits and the sitters took care of our home as if it was their own. Susan and her team are wonderful!!! PlayTime Pet Sitters are amazing! It was my first time using their service when we were out of town for 6 days. They sent text updates with photos everyday, they were very informative everyday of how my pets were doing and it really helped put me at ease. Every single person I worked with was professional and a pleasure to work with. They had no issues giving my cat her meds everyday, and they did all the specific things each pet needed. They also fed my strays for no extra charge and I can't recommend them enough! Thank you so much for looking after my pets! :)
After trying (unsuccessfully) to find a reliable pet sitter on Rover, I was so happy to work with Play Time Pet Sitters. This was our first experience using a pet sitter for our two dogs and it was a wonderful experience. They were professional, paid attention to details, always on time, and best of all… the dogs were at ease and got lots of care and attention. They were always in communication with us and we enjoyed the updates and photos sent. They go above and beyond to help bring in packages, water plants, etc. I was very impressed that even our shy dog allowed them to pet her. They got lots of play time in the yard, went for walks, and got treats while we were away. I highly recommend and will be using them again in the future.
Based on her past history with her previous owners, we were concerned about leaving our kitty girl, Gis. We were afraid she would feel abandoned...again. Kayley and Anne took such good care of her. The ladies from PlayTime sent us texts and photos every day! Gis was one happy cat. We are very happy owners and will most assuredly use PlayTime Pet Sitters the next time we travel.
Playtime Pet Sitters is a great company to take care of your precious pets. I have had great experiences interacting with several staff, from asking questions about signing up, website bookings and service outline, to showing off our old cat’s hiding places and sleep spots. Each person took our feeding and care routine seriously and asked several times if medications were needed or other household tasks could be done. This service has really put our mind at ease for making sure our Archer is looked after while we are out. It seems no task is too small, and we look forward to using them more.
If you're on the fence about using a pet sitter... Book this one. We had never left our dog with a sitter or a kennel before and a last-minute trip out of town had us needing to do so on short notice. After talking with the wonderful office staff I already felt better about hiring these guys vs. dropping our beloved girl at a kennel where we would be all extra stressed. The first meeting with the sitters made us feel even more confident in the decision to have them come take care of her at home. You can tell the sitters know how to interact with dogs and they were stellar during our thirty minute preliminary meeting. Went over everything they needed to know, made sure they knew where her food and water was, etc. Were very patient and professional, which we really appreciate since the four-legged kid can take awhile to warm up to new people. While we had a whirlwind, hectic, sometimes stressful trip, we had one less thing to worry about knowing that our dog was being well looked after and wasn't upset in a strange place. The check-ins and photos we got just lifted our spirits during such a tiring trip. Everyone was great about updating us, and making sure our girl was fed and walked and given treats. Most of all, it really feels great knowing that they're not just caring *for* your fur family, they care about them too. Our dog wound up getting along with them so well, which would not have happened if they weren't kind and respectful to the animals they look after. Such a great staff working for this business, we would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to anyone.
Easy 5-star review. After a rough boarding experience at a different facility, we are so happy to have found Pup Club. The facility is very clean and it is obviously well thought out with the best interest of the dogs in mind. The size of the runs is bigger than a lot of yards. Duane definitely takes very good care of the dogs, and it is evident by all the happy dogs and wagging tails. Our dogs were calm, relaxed, and happy when we picked them up. They very obviously had a great time at Pup Club and it was obvious that they had been well cared for. We received clear communication the entire time they were there and photos of our dogs playing and enjoying the peaceful setting. Pricing is very fair and there were no surprises. You cannot find a better facility than Pup Club! Jack & Poppy agree.
We couldn’t be happier to find the Pup Club! Easy 5 Start Rating. I had visited the Pup Club before booking and was immediately impressed by the owners and the pristine set up. This facility is family owned and your fur babies will be treated with lots of love and care. Our husky really enjoyed the large spaces provided, both inside and out. Other kennels only had a small caged area for your pet and only allowed a short outside time. This facility has long runs adjacent to a doggie door for your pet to go inside when they want. More freedom to be outside or inside at their leisure. Love this! You will be at ease leaving your pet here. Highly recommended!
We’re so happy to have found this facility! The owners are communicative, professional, and kind. It’s obvious they love the pups! They sent periodic updates and awesome pictures throughout our Max’s stay. When we picked Max up, we could tell she was happy and had a great time. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place.
A beautiful location with extremely caring owners! The runs are huge and the owners take time to play with the dogs and let them explore even bigger outdoor areas. I always worry about leaving our old lady when we have to travel, but we could tell she enjoyed her time at Pup club- She even looked like she didn’t want to leave! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a caring, family-owned facility!
Our dog Athena stayed for almost a week. She had a private kennel and dog run, with her own green space time! Duane sent us some great photos while we were away and Athena came back happy and healthy.
I am so glad we found the Pup Club, after our dog boarder had closed its doors, we had such a hard time finding another place that we trusted for our dogs Gus and Tito. After speaking with Duane I had such a great feeling about this place. Not only did we receive great communication and updates (with pictures) our dogs came home happy and well cared for. The Kennels were very clean and the runs were very well maintained. It is exciting to know we found our new boarder!
I used this kennel for thanksgiving break and they were the best! It’s a nice family owned business with a large bit of land and nice indoor and outdoor accommodations for the pups. I left my two dogs when I went on a cruise and felt secure the entire time! They sent tons of pictures and updates, my dogs were playing and I could tell they were happy and well taken care of. They could stay together in the same kennel and were cozy together the whole time. The price was super reasonable and I will 100% use them again for my next out of town trip!
AMAZING!!!!!!!! We have a father and son and our boys had their own vacation!!! Pup Club is BEAUTIFUL!! The owner Duane is so kind and he has a love for animals!! He often gave updates and shared pictures and I could instantly tell our boys were LOVING it!!! There was toys for them to play with!! There were beds for them as well!! They had freedom to go in and out on their own!! Our dogs love the snow and outdoors so this was perfect!!! They have a choice of being inside a warmed LARGE kennel area too!!! Previously we have taken our pups to other dog boarding facility and I knew they were not happy, because they would not get out of my car freely!! But at Pup Club they were so excited to be here!! And let me tell you!!! It was so clean!!! I am sorry, but I did not bathe them before, because in the past they came home so smelly and I always had to bathe them immediately!! NOT here!!! It is so CLEAN!!! I am beyond grateful for Pup Club!! There is no one that has ever made us feel that our pups were so loved and well taken care of!! Thank you again Duane!!!
Our dog Lola loves going to Pup Club! They have a great setup for all the dogs. We love getting all the photos during her stay, and at pickup I can tell she had a good time. Duane is great to communicate with and does a great job with all the dogs.
Pup club was a great place to take care of our aging English bulldog. Our dog requires a lot of care, including eye medications, and careful attention to make sure she doesn't overheat. The owners at pup club made us feel right at home and took great care of her. She was very obviously happy when she returned from their care. We will use them again!
We really can’t say enough positive things about Debi! If you are looking for a superior option to a “traditional” boarding facility, at an affordable price, don’t look any further… We have been using Debi for about a year now. Our dog Atticus (Atti) gets so excited when we say “want to go to Ms Debi’s?” Or if we ask him if he wants to go visit her dog “Jaspy”… Where as he used to be scared to death going to a boarding facility. Originally, we started using Debi as we lived in the same neighborhood. We have since moved but gladly drive Atti to Ms Debi’s. Zero hesitations in recommending Debi’s Dogs to anyone!
I scheduled to have our dog Nugget stay w/ Debi because of all of the amazing reviews, but was still nervous as this was the longest we would be away from our dog. Every review is spot on! She was AMAZING! If I could give more stars I would. The pictures she sent made enjoying our vacation so much easier, we got to see Nugget having fun, being relaxed, enjoying his time. It really was an incredible experience. He was spoiled, he loved getting to have new dogs to play with. He was happy, we are happy and Debi is just truly incredible.
I would give Debi more than five stars if I could! Our golden retriever stayed with Debi while we were on vacation and had an absolute blast. He is usually very shy and timid, but had no problem making himself at home at Debi's. Our dog hadn't stayed with anyone besides family before and we were very nervous about boarding him. After meeting Debi, I knew he would be very well cared for. Debi responds quickly and sent us pictures every day to let us know how our dog was doing. Debi truly cares about the dogs she takes care of and it's so nice that she is willing to take them into her home and treat them like family. Highly recommend Debi!
We have loved having Debi care for our dogs. Our 3 dogs - Piper, Gracie & Scout - have stayed with Debi multiple times. From a long weekend to over a week, they did great. She treats them like family & spoils them more than we do! It’s like their own personal vacation. And Debi is great at communicating often & sending lots of pictures, which are always a highlight of the stay. Our dog Piper is a very very nervous dog. We were worried how she would do staying somewhere that wasn’t home, but she did great for Debi. Still timid, but good! I cannot say enough good things about Debi’s services. We are so sad to have moved away because we won’t have her to care for our pets when we travel.
Debi takes excellent care of dogs. She truly loves boarding them and treats them like they are her own. I got daily photos and updates of my pup while she was staying with Debi. I highly recommend using her home for boarding if you want the best care for your pup.
Debi has cared for our dog, Bailey, several times when we need to be out of town. She provides us with photo and text updates several times per day. Working with her has given us great peace of mind and we are actually able to enjoy our time away. Bailey has a home away from home when she stays with Debi. Bailey stays in the house with Debi (and not in a kennel), has access to a large enclosed yard, and a large play room with toys and sofas to take a nap! Debi is dog-smart and very caring. Her house and yard are dog-friendly and very clean. I completely trust Debi looking after Bailey. And more telling, is that Bailey gets excited when we go to Debi's.
Our girl Matti takes a while to warm up but to our surprise, she immediately warmed up to Debi and loves Jasper. Matti absolutely enjoyed her time at Debi’s and we have peace of mind knowing she is having a great time and well taken care of in our absence. Debi is amazing and sends us pictures and updates throughout the day. We highly recommend Debi.
Debi has been a godsend. I didn’t think we would be able to find a petsitter that we could trust with our senior dog but she is fantastic. Michou jumps for joy when we get to her house. There is routine so pets feel safe and secure but also play and fun with other pups. They live life like they are in their own home. They are treated like her very own, as she loves having dogs around. She is responsible, knowledgeable, caring and always stays in contact so you know your pup is doing ok. I don’t think there could be a better petsitter.
My older and shy dog - Ray had a great time staying at Debi’s house. She is great about sending pictures and updates so that you know your dog is doing just fine while you’re away.
Debi took wonderful care of our dog! It was such a relief having our doggie stay with someone who cares and knows a lot about taking care of dogs. Highly recommend her.
Our boy Toby loved this place. While on vacation this summer we dropped him off daily while we went and did our thing for a few hours. He absolutely loved it. It was very clean and the staff was super friendly. Huskies are escape artists and we never felt worried or unsure of his safety. We wouldn't hesitate to come again when we're back in the area.
They are best in business.. we visited Colorado Springs with our dog(who rarely goes to dog daycare). We needed a daycare for few hours to visit pike’s peak and double J pet ranch came to our rescue. My dog loved his stay and came back so happy. They went out of their way and waited for us a little extra to close. I felt like I left my dog with a family member. Thanks a lot Double J pet ranch. I would recommend it to friends and family back in Texas ❤️.
My dogs love Double J Pet Ranch. They are SO excited when I tell them they are going to Dbl J. They play all day with their "friends" and come home tired. The people that work there are awesome and love all the dogs they care for. It's the best!
If you’re looking for the best place to board your dog in Colorado, look no further!!!! This is hands down the best boarding location we’ve ever taken our dog! Not only was she excited coming into Double J Ranch for the first time but she was smiling and even attempting to leave our car when we left!? The level of care the staff provides is incredible! They learn about every dog who comes in and they are practically family now. We left our dog for over 9 days and usually we’re hesitant (especially from past experiences at other Boarding locations in the area) but it was clear from the photos and report from the staff that she had a blast. We will never take her anywhere else and I can’t recommend them enough!
I have two dogs, one of them very friendly, but one of them really only likes her brother. Despite this, Double J made sure to take the time to spend a little extra time with my “trouble girl” to make her feel more comfortable until she could fit in with the other doggies. Not only is this great for my dog, but it’s the right thing to do for the other dogs there too. You never know what happens if a dog feels threatened. Great job by Double J taking care of all of your clients’ dogs, and THANK YOU for making my “trouble girl” feel at home while I was away! And thank you for easing my mind! It’s a bit of drive for me, but I will be returning as a customer when the situation arises.
We left our Daisy for 9 days and picked her up a tired and happy pup. We loved the Facebook pictures so we could check in on her and each picture her tail was wagging and she had a huge “smile” on her face. The facility is large and the kennels are clean! Love knowing our fur baby is well cared for while we are away!
Our collie Max enjoyed his stay at Double J Pet Ranch and really loves the spacious outdoor playtime they provide with other friendly dogs! The kennels are clean and the pets are well cared for.
Best in class staff that genuinely cares for every dog and dog owner. Blizzy LOVES going to daycare at Double J she gets to run, play and socialize. Hands down recommend this for your fur baby, I live down south and commute 45 minutes during the work week to get there that's how incredible this place is.
Great facility, great employees. We love Double J and so does our dog. They take great care of him and make sure he gets his allergy meds whenever he boards. Highly recommended.
First time boarding with Double J Kennels, the girls must've had a good time, cuz they weren't in a hurry to get in the truck to go home! The staff there is super friendly, and let me know that my pups behaved in group play time, which is always nice to hear that your kids played nicely with the others! Will definitely go back!
We needed someone to watch our dog, Titus, at the last minute when plans fell through. PlayTime Pet Sitters was able to help and made the process so easy! They were quick to respond to our last minute request, friendly, and easy to work with. Titus got his food, his walks, some love, and all was right with his world! My 3 month old kitten had a great time hanging out with the sitters from PlayTime this past weekend while I was out of town. Deb and Sara sent me several pictures and a text about everything they did each time they visited. It was great to see he was well loved, taken care of, and had plenty of play time while I gone. It was also nice to come home and see that his litter box was fresh, the area around his box was free of all the litter that usually follows him out, and his food and water bowls were clean and full. I know he's looking forward to the next time he'll get to hang out with his Deb and Sara and I'm glad there's one less thing I have to worry about next time I travel.
My dog loves her PlayTime walkers! They have been really responsive, easy to schedule, and reliable. They always send text updates with cute pics after the walks, and leave a "report card" for how the walk went. I would not hesitate to recommend them.
Where do I even begin? Susan and her staff have been quintessential for my family’s well-being. My husband and I are both officers in the Army, and we frequently deploy to training rotations and have recently had a nine month deployment overseas. PlayTime Pet Sitters has been a pillar of our pet care while we are away at work. We have an assortment of pets, which includes three birds and two dogs. I simply would not trust any other business to take care of my animals in my absence. There is a lot that I could write about the special care and authentic love for animals Susan and her staff have, but, I will instead summarize it with a single event. In January of 2022, our beloved dog swallowed a plastic squeaker that became lodged in her small intestine. I was alone, as my husband was deployed to a training center, and it was the middle of the night when I took my dog to the Emergency vet. About $7000 later, my dog underwent emergency abdominal surgery, and was recovering well. It was about 9 PM by the time I got her care plan, and I was overwhelmed with anxiety about how I was going to manage her post-operative care, as I had a week-long field exercise starting the following morning and I would not be home. I contacted other pet sitting businesses in Colorado Springs, and they all refused to schedule visits so last-minute despite my desperation. I contacted Susan at PlayTime that evening around 2 AM, in tears, desperate for a sitter that could care for my first and only dog as an adult at the time. Susan could not have been more superb; she reassured me that she would help me, and provided me with caretakers that gave my dog the best post-op care. Including feeding her baby food three times a day, and administering all medications with only written instructions from me on a letter I left for them in my home. PlayTime Pet Sitters has taken care of my family for well over a year. Their care is unmatched, and their dedication to animals is admirable and almost unbelievable. I have had a wide range of pets my entire life, including iguanas and a variety of farm animals. I am passionate and serious about my pets receiving the best care possible. I do not and will not give my business to anybody else in Colorado Springs. I would pay double the fee if it meant I could guarantee Susan and her team would look after my pets. If you are looking for a business that will love your furry, scaly, and feathered family members as much as you do, look no further. Thank you Susan, Linda, and every other incredible caretaker that has been a part of our pets’ lives. You have made our oftentimes challenging and unpredictable lifestyle more secure.
We had a great experience with PlayTime! In the past we’ve boarded and had friends watch our cats, but this was much better for the cats and us. They are very thorough, attentive, and professional. We felt good knowing that some of the people watching our cats actually had experience as vet techs or were studying to become vet techs. We got pictures and messages at each visit and it was nice not having to worry about the cats at all while we were away. And when we got back the cats were completely themselves! In the past they’ve had about a 2 day period of being mad at us.
We just had our first experience with Playtime Pet Sitters this weekend and we are amazed! Susan is incredibly responsive and reliable, and Sara and Deb took great care of our sweet Indy. I was impressed with their punctuality and their communication, and when we returned home we couldn't see any signs that anyone had stayed overnight that weekend. They took great care of our home and possessions, and we are very thankful to have found Playtime. Loyal customers from here on!
Playtime Pet Sitters is the best pet sitting company in Colorado Springs! The prices are reasonable, but that’s definitely not the only great thing. They truly care about your animals, and isn’t that the most important thing? We hired them to care for our pets during a weekend away, and I will never hire anyone else. They came ahead of time to meet our dogs and see where the dog food and crates were. They were polite and thorough. I made a mistake in the scheduling, but they were happy to work with me and make sure the pets were cared for. They came each day at the scheduled time and took lots of pictures! They even leave a little handwritten report of what happened while you were away. I never worried about the dogs because I knew they were in the best hands. If you’re on the fence about hiring them or still looking around, you’ve found the right place. You will not regret it! You won’t find a company that can give you as much peace of mind while you’re away from your fur babies!
Loved my experience with PlayTime Pet Sitters! I went on a last minute trip out of town for a weekend and they were able to accommodate my request and were very professional which I appreciated. My cat and I got to meet my sitter (Susan) before my trip and it’s clear she has a lot of experience with pets and is very trustworthy. She made a lot of effort to understand my cat, his habits, quirks, favorite toys, and so on, which made me more comfortable with leaving him for a weekend because I knew he would be in great hands! It’s a little pricier compared to getting a pet sitter from a site like Rover but at the end of the day, I want to hire people I trust with my pet and will continue to use PlayTime Pet Sitters for my pet sitting needs. 🙂
We had the best experience with PlayTime Pet Sitters. They looked after our two kittens over the Christmas holiday. We loved how they sent us a message update after every visit and how sweet the sitters were to our kittens. Our sitters were Amy and Laura - I highly recommend them to anyone!
We needed a pet sitter to care for our new cat and they took such great care of him while we were gone! Followed instructions to a T and sent lots of cute photos from the visits. We came home to a happy kitty, a nice report card of how they spent time with him , and all of our mail stacked neatly inside. Prior to the first visit, we had a home visit where the sitters met us and learned where everything was. Easy to book and pay online and the sitters were kind and professional. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a great pet service!
My dog Bailey absolutely LOVES Black Forest Dog Resort. She always comes back so happy, and you can tell that all of the staff really care about each dog that stays there. I’m a single dog mom and travel quite a bit for work, so this is definitely my go-to boarding facility.
Megan and all the staff at Black Forest Dog Resort are amazing.! We boarded our 2 eight month Samoyed puppies for 2 weeks. They also received 6 training sessions with videos that we can refer to- and they both made great progress. I highly recommend this boarding, grooming and training facility. They treat your pet like one of their own and you can board with complete confidence and peace of mind.
We've had a hard time finding a reasonably priced place to board our small dogs for many years. Discovered this resort that is very close to our home. Our dogs loved it. Staff is very welcoming and took excellent care of our elderly dogs.

The property is beautiful, clean, well cared for, and we loved getting to see pics and videos on IG while we were away! My boys settled right in and loved their visit - like the best summer camp! I can't recommend Black Forest Dog Resort enough! Upon my return, I picked up a happy, clean, and fed dog. I appreciate how Megan posts videos and pictures to the company's Instagram as I enjoyed seeing my dog run and play while I was away. The facilities are clean and calm, and the online booking was a definite plus! My pup will be back! Thanks! :)
Took my golden with wavy hair in for her first grooming (we were both anxious). Toni, the groomer, is wonderful with a knack for making the pup feel calm. I'll make it more regular since I found such a wonderful business. Great facility layout for both boarding and grooming!
This place is fantastic! The owner, Megan, is such a sweet individual. Michaela and the staff are extremely friendly and treat every dog like their own. It is clean, well ventilated, and spacious, and they provide enrichment stuffed Kong's and toys for the pups. You can tell they are passionate about dogs. It's the only place in town I would trust my own dogs to board. If there are closer options to you, Black Forrest Dog Resort is well worth the tiny extra drive to ensure your pups are in good hands. They provide dog boarding, dog grooming, and dog training.
We have 2 mid-large breed puppies, and we tried boarding at other facilities but ran into problems with our dogs picking up new (and bad) behaviors, being overstimulated when they got home, getting sick, etc. We found Black Forest Dog Resort on a Reddit post a couple months after they opened, and decided to try it out since we had a trip coming up. WOW - this place is incredible! The attention they give to the dogs is amazing, the staff are all SO friendly, prices are outstanding (even with upcoming rate increases, this place is worth its weight in gold), and when we’ve had subsequent day trips or even just need a weekend away we have always felt comforted knowing our pups are staying here! Our dogs love the staff and whenever we drive up, the pups are excited and ready to play - unlike at other facilities, where they immediately got nervous and overwhelmed. It’s a great comfort to know the people taking care of your dogs are professionals and can still be so personal. They’ve been so kind even with our pups going through their adolescent stage (sorry again about the blanket fiasco, Megan!). I can’t say enough good about this place, truly. Black Forest was absolutely amazing with my German Shepherd who has balance issues due to a disability. They took wonderful care of her even though her condition definitely puts her in a bit of an odd spot as far as dogs go. Megan and the staff sent over constant updates which helped keep us reassured that our girl was doing well and had a great time with the staff giving her lots of care and attention. Can't think them enough!
I am so grateful I found Black Forest Dog Resort. Historically, I’ve used a wonderful in home pet sitter wherever I’m away. However, this time, as I’m selling my house, I needed to find a place for my dogs away from home. I was so worried about boarding my dogs. However, I’ve been very pleased with my experience here. They actually evaluate each dog’s needs and provide them with what they need during their stay. My dogs are happy to return when I pull up and that’s all I need to know.
Leona has been great figuring out our dogs who are all rescue with issues. I like a trainer that can work on issues and not just sit. She has such calm demeanor that dogs are attracted to her and listen to her. She truly in this for dogs and to help their owners.
I have worked with Leona on multiple occasions. My dog was originally signed up for group classes with Spruce Mountain, and after one class, he had a hard time with being around the other pups. After speaking with Leona, she offered to switch him to individual sessions and we would revisit group training later. Due to my schedule, and living 45 minutes away, this was greatly appreciated. Leona has always been flexible, worked with me, has even boarded my pup with her to do some extensive training that I have not been able to do myself. This is my first puppy, and the work Leona has done, continues to do, and I am sure I will continue to work with her has been nothing short of fabulous. Leona not only trains my dog, she cares about my dog, his well being, and gave me the sweetest gift after he was boarded with her. It was a collection of pictures of him in various mediums and it melted my heart. I love working with Leona and so thankful she is such a pleasure to work with!!!!
Leona is the ultimate dog trainer! Hands down, she is the best animal trainer - I have had the privilege of knowing Leona for over 6 years and she has trained my 2 dogs expertly and compassionately. My dogs ADORE her yet they respect her authority. If you love your dogs (and who doesn't?) you won't regret hiring Leona for all your training needs.
Leona has helped with both our 9 month old puppy and some walking issues with our 9 year old dog. Leona is always patient with both the customer and their pups and does a great job providing positive reinforcement. Additionally Leona is passionate about helping the families that come to her for help and she provide external resources for information. My pups love Leona and we will be going back for any training needs!

Leona, shes kind and very knowledgeable and is extremely trustworthy when it comes to talking about my dog and just in general... and was extremely helpful and superb with training & regarding anything!!! We have been clients of Leona since early 2021. No complaints until our cat died under her care. At first, our cat’s death seemed from natural causes. However, upon returning to our home, there were things found in different conditions than when we left them. What was found in our house makes us question the care of our cats and we will not be trusting Leona again with our pets.
