Rey is such a sweet and adorable cat. Shy at first, he warmed up to us quickly and treated us to lots of headbutts. Hoon was great and left us very helpful instructions for Rey and everything around the apartment, as well as restaurant recommendations. We couldn't have had a better cat sitting experience in Boston.
Alfie and our little family had a great time during the housesit. The friendly and positive contact with Donna and Peter via mail and face-to-face, gentle and playful Alfie, the welcoming guide with important and helpful information and some time to get everything shown made it quite easy to enjoy the housesit completely. The spacious house and garden as well as the lovely walking possibilities near them with a huge dog field and a lovely countryside are absolutely recommended. We even couldn't discover all the interesting local possibilities and dog friendly trips. We can just say ... Alfie, thank you for the joyful time and thank you Donna and Peter for the warm and kind welcome and trust!
Wow, just wow! We loved staying at Joan and Eric's place in Mcgregor! It was the perfect experience for us. Rasty is the best boy, we really bonded in our 17 days together and I'd be over the moon if we could look after him again some day. Waking up each morning to the beautiful garden to feed the chickens was a treat and spending lazy afternoons in the hammock or pool topped it all off. On top of all that Joan and Eric were kind and helpful at every turn and made us feel truly at home when we were together and how they communicated while we were sitting. If we're ever unavailable ourselves, then we highly recommend this stay to anyone else! Anna & Ed

I had the tremendous honor of being Ladd and Carolyn’s 1st pet sitter through THS, and it was a blast! Taj and CousCous are two wonderful cats who are equally sweet sisters despite having opposite personalities. Couscous is a curious soul who is always ready to greet you at the door with affection. Taj is shy and takes a few days to fully warm up to a stranger handling her routine, but once settled she’ll happily agree to lots of cuddles and will even sit in the chair next to you while you work on occasion. Both cats have an easy routine and made the sit a breeze. Carolyn and Ladd were very welcoming and communicative. They were easy to reach if I had any questions, and made me feel right at home. They have a lovely, spacious home that has lots of neighborhood paths for walks which was great on a sunny day. Their home is also not too far from a metro with easy access into the city or to grocery stores. I had a great time with Taj and CousCous and I would be happy to return anytime!

She doesn't just rush in and feed our cat. She takes her time to stay with our cat for a while. She is highly professional and attentive and takes her job very seriously. Weeks before her first cat-sitting job with us, she took the time to come to our house to meet our cat and get familiar with our home. She follows up before each cat-sitting job to ask about updates or changes to our cat's routine and well-being. Another nice touch is that she will text about how our cat is doing. We feel so fortunate to have found Leilani and highly recommend her.

I have tried Country Inn 2 times and have been very impressed by the care and concern of the staff. They are very dependable. They offer their own food and keep the dogs apart, which was very important for me as my dog doesn't do well with other dogs. They let them out in the sun frequently, when the weather permits and dogs also have a little outside area they can walk to from their kennel that gives them access to the sun.
The staff was exceptional during the devastating wine country fires! They boarded and fed our Coonhound and would not accept any payment. Thank you for helping us!

So grateful for Park-a-Pup! We adopted our sweet, yet anxious, hound mix about nine months ago. They were so helpful in the rehabilitation of our girl. They were also amazing at helping ME feel comfortable letting her go. We worked really hard with helping our pup gain confidence and feel secure, and Park-a-Pup helped so much with this. Within no time, she was able to walk into the play area on her own. We have also had to board her overnight, and I felt extremely confident in her wellbeing. I love how they check in with updates and photos, and will always answer the phone to answer any questions. Super grateful for Park-a-Pup and all of their amazing dog loving employees. You have made adopting a pup so much better not only for Lily, but for us, her family, as well. Thank you! I left my dog, Rainbow, who has anxiety and very shy, from 8 AM to 5 PM for a trial day and I couldn't be happier with the experience! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel at ease. They took such great care of her, ensuring she felt comfortable and secure throughout the day. They massaged me throughout the day with updates and cute photos. When I picked her up, she was relaxed and happy, which is a result of the wonderful care and attention she received from the staff. The facility is clean, safe, and filled with enriching activities that kept her engaged. This doggy place is very well managed. My 19 month old Jack Russell has not had a lot of socialization with other dogs. Park a Pup makes sure their furry guests will play well together. Unfortunately my dog was overwhelmed by being with many other dogs and hung out in the corners of the play yard. The handlers wisely put her back in a nice large crate and called me to take her home. We will get her more play time with other dogs and take her back to Park a Pup when she is ready. C. Peck

Our dog loves Park-a-pup in Novato. It is clean, well organized, and very safe. We use both the daycare and boarding services for our 60 lb German shepherd lab mix and he is always so excited to go there. The communication is great and baths and nail trims are free for every 10 days of care. Highly recommended!

All the staff are AMAZING and go out of their way to help. We have 2 large dogs and both my dad and I have health issues the staff comes out to the car and gets the dogs out for us. The dogs both love going there and its great socialization skills. They run a top notch business and I don’t hesitate to refer people….
Unfortunately, we received a call from Park-a-Pup that our sweet boy wasn't doing well. They rushed him to the emergency vet the moment they saw something was off. We were across the country but received prompt notifications and updates. Following our phone call with the vet, it was determined we would be losing our angel in a very close undetermined time. As we rushed home that day, I requested to pick up our dog kiwi from the facility after hours so that she could be with her brother, should he not make it through the night. Maxx, the general manager, offered to open the doors for us to grab her at almost 11 pm that night after traveling all day with numerous delays. We offered to pay for his time, but he refused. He was so kind. Park-a-pups' kindness and swift actions allowed our baby to receive quick care and be put in a stable status to spend his final moments with his family. I cried so much, and I can't thank them enough for their kindness and the final moments their care gave us with him. They wouldn't let us make a payment that night and urged us to simply focus on luigi. Following his service, we stopped by to make our final payment, and they removed the charges for luigis' stay (we didn't even ask). I don't think I've even been so lucky to have my dogs at a boarding facility that truly cares this much.
Pippin runs into the building to greet staff every time we return for boarding. For me, that's the ultimate positive review and what -- along with lovely service and great rates -- keeps me coming back, despite living pretty far away (SF)! Tip: Ask for a "report card" to receive a batch of photos of your pup occasionally during a long stay. It's such a sweet and reassuring service. FWIW: Pippin is a 3.5yo 25lb female corgi. She's stayed here maybe 15-20 times in the past few years.
I am VERY protective of my little boy - 15mo old while lab, named Atlas. He’s high energy & needs lots of exercise, not a crate. After much review I settled on Bridewell Day Care & Boarding in Novato. The staff @ Bridewell is professional, genuinely love our 4 legged friends & take great pride in keeping to their “guests” (their words) dietary or special needs. The property has a large yard for Atlas to run & play. Most importantly, our pups go out in small groups & are carefully supervised by a staff member. Thank you Bridewell! Julie Daly (Atlas’ mom)
Great kennel with very reasonable prices. Our dogs have stayed there tons of times and they always get so excited when we turn onto the road that leads to Bridewell. They clearly love it there. Staff is great, really friendly and knowledgeable.
I've taken our dog here for over a year now. Always very friendly and adaptable. Our dog has gotten to be rather unfriendly and difficult in his old age but it hasn't been an issue for Bridewell, as they are able to cater to his "No Contact" needs. They are actually the only place we've found who are willing and able to bored him. I'm very grateful. Good spot.
They can handle cats and dogs. Very nice staff who are members of the community and remember you, your animals, and your general routine. Such as asking if I brought my specific green container with food this time. My dog 🐕🦺 was scared at first (as with most things) but now enjoys going there. My cat is meh about it. 😺 Highly recommend. Note, they are on a single lane private access road with deer and other animals roaming the area so drive slow. Not my favorite thing but luckily no curb your enthusiasm situations yet. Highly recommended
I checked out this facility and you can hear the dogs barking and crying from down the hill. The staff were friendly enough but the conditions looked sub par and the dogs seemed intensely unhappy, more than normal separation anxiety from being boarded. Yelp was overall favorable but there were a few horror stories I should have taken more seriously before coming to check out the facilities. 3 of their previous 4, now 5 including this one, reviews on Google+ are from people in India, and within the past month. Not a lot of vacationing in this part of Marin, and I bet people wouldn't bring their pets from India to board them while on vacation. Disingenuous, and a little alarming at how those reviews came into existence, I would imagine you could buy reviews fairly cheaply from people overseas.
I read about this place and thought it had good reviews. I brought my Guinea pigs there and left the people with veggies, food, hay and strict instructions for each day. When I picked them up I found them without hay (terrible for a grazing animal) and there water bottle had a different drink lid than the one I brought. Which means they switched with another guinea pigs. Fatal mistake as this could cause my guinea pigs to get ill and potentially die. I will NEVER ever leave any pets here again. From my point of view my pigs were not fed correctly and could have been killed due to contamination of water bottle lids. STAY AWAY! I am not sure how these people are diamond certified but if you care about your beloved furry friends (dog, Cat, guinea pig, etc) don’t bring them to this dungeon. I have another trip coming up and have chosen to take my piggies elsewhere and pay twice the price as this place does not understand animal care.
I really, really wanted to like this place as the staff seemed really nice. My dog was stressed being in a small kennel and unless you pay extra for them to walk your dog, that's where your pet will stay. At least that was my understanding. I paid for the extra walk a day.
