Claudia and Andreas are gracious and kind hosts with a lovely house in a safe and beautiful neighborhood with a large natural greenbelt. Shops and restaurants are 6 blocks away, an easy walk. Denver and the surrounding area is great fun to explore. It was a wonderful petsit for me!
We had a lovely time house-sitting for Susanne & Hugh. Spice, Sugar and Dusty are great cats and easy to care for. Spice was our lap kitty almost immediately. She loves the attention and snuggles. Sugar and Dusty took a bit more time to warm up to us, but they eventually did and also loved the attention, scratches and brushes. The kitties are in their own room, with everything they require, from multiple cat trees to play toys, bright light and lots of furniture to relax on. We never had any issue with any of the cats during our stay. Susanne & Hugh’s house is large and comfortable. The bedroom has a dresser, two night stands, shelf and a large closet with a comfortable bed. The ensuite has a shower, toilet and a large sink with a bit of storage. The kitchen and home are equipped with everything you need and all the tools necessary to make your stay comfortable. They also provided a spot to park our vehicle in the garage which was nice during the colder days. We were there in February thru April and yard maintenance was minimal. Thanks to mother nature, we had a bit of snow to remove, however, they have all the gadgets to blow and shovel it away; there was even a neighbor that came one time to do it for us - Thank you! Something to note; the clothes dryer was not operational during our time, however, they did provide racks and a room to hang our clothes inside, so we managed fine. The yard is expansive and the view is calming and lovely. We enjoyed sitting and playing with the cats and just admiring nature outside. They live near a few trails (within driving distance) and you can go for long walks around their area as well. Shopping and amenities are within a 15 minute drive. Communication with Susanne & Hugh was great from the start and we did not have any issues at all. Directions were clear and information and instructions were left for us outlining all we needed to know. They left plenty of fridge space and pantry space for all our food. Thank you both for your kindness and for leaving us the little extra amenities during our stay. We would definitely come back and would recommend this sit to anyone.
We had a great time looking after Tea and Andrew's place. We shared some days before and after the sitting and we really enjoyed them, as both were warm and made us feel comfortable and welcome. The neighbourhood is beautiful, calm and very safe. There are many green public spaces around to visit. Andrew and Tea left everything organized, paid and solved before leaving, so we didn't have to worry about anything in the house. We'd definately sit for them again :).
I had a great stay in Feock, and Bagel was such good company! He is extremely well-trained and lots of fun. Louis and Anna were very welcoming hosts and only ever a text message away, and their house is cosy and in a fab location. Thank you Anna and Louis!
A delightful weekend having adventures with Dudley. Despite his age he has stamina for nice long walks, as long as you let him stop and sniff..he is a Basset Hound..he must sniff!! We got over 12,000 steps a day walking at the beach and in the beautiful Golden Gate Park. He joyfully greeted all people and dogs on our walks. He slept in after a very active day and let us have our weekend coffee leisurely! When we were ready to get out and about, he was too. Shannon and Beau have a beautiful sparkling clean and well appointed home in an amazing neighborhood. It was quiet at night. I opened the bedroom window and could hear the ocean which was so restful. There is a Safeway grocery store, and many cafes and dog friendly restaurants within a 15 minute walk. Dont miss the pastries at Butterfly Joint on Cabrillo one block away. We went the last day, and I am somewhat glad, I would have had to do MORE walking to burn off those calories if I had found it sooner. We even met some neighbors who knew Dudley and offered him a treat as we walked by. The bus service is fantastic so you don't need car if you want to go explore the sights of downtown San Francisco. We hope to see Dudley and his great family again!
Tesla is very sweet and well-behaved. Dan and Poshan greeted us warmly and gave us comprehensive directions making it easy to care for him. Their home is in a nice suburban area and convenient to Boston.
