Let me try to define the best that there could be in a house/pet sitter: it would be "Charlotte and Jeff". These two stayed at our home for two months this year while my wife and I traveled out of the country. We had a Zoom meeting that we had allotted one hour for a few months prior to our departure and found ourselves talking for two hours. We would have been happy for more. They arrived at our home the day before we left and our feelings from the Zoom encounter were confirmed within a few minutes. Charlie and Jeff cared for our home and our beloved dog Calvin beyond expectations. We like to have frequent contact by texts and pictures and they did not disappoint. Our enjoyment of our trip was so enhanced by the frequent texts, reports and pictures of our dog clearly very happy and comfortable. We loved how Charlie and Jeff were so active with outings (that included our dog) with some of the great activities that one can find in our area. They really took advantage of their time in our region. There was one unavoidable mishap with our garage door and they took complete care of the repair of the door, reporting it to us promptly once all the repair plans were paid for by them and in place. We consider Charlotte and Jeff our go to housesitters, when it fits with their schedule, but also friends that we will remain in touch with, outside of zeewoi. We would highly and enthusiastically recommend them as house sitters.
We had a great stay at Fiona and Simons. They were extremely welcoming and friendly hosts, we were given lots of helpful information on the house, dogs and local area. The house was really clean and comfortable, with an incredible garden set up which was great on sunny days The house had everything we needed. Magic, Snoop and Milo were a dream to look after and we would definitely go back!
Gemma was so clear and helpful with briefing me before the house sit. Reina and Larry were a total delight and full of personality! They will keep you entertained and they both love a cuddle. The house was in a peaceful location and easy for getting into town. A lovely house sit. I’d love to sit for you again. Thank you for the opportunity!
Tania and Andy are lovely people who made us feel very welcome. We loved looking after Mabel and Archie. These dogs are super friendly and a pleasure to be around. There’s a beautiful country walk close by, and the house itself had everything we needed to feel comfortable 😊
My son and I had the loveliest week with Nona. She is the sweetest cat ……. playful, friendly, lovable and easy to look after. She loved playing with her fishing rod, chasing for treats, drinking from the tap, and chilling out at her window. She would often come hang out with us, and cozy up with her sweet little paw on me. She slept by my feet at night and wandered off in the morning. Karine and Jo were so friendly and welcoming. They left the house clean and cozy for us. We loved all the books and music and the plants really made it feel like a retreat. They gave us all the info we needed and stayed in touch while away. We had a wonderful time sitting for Josie and taking care of sweet Muffin. Communication with Josie was very easy, and she gave us a warm welcome to the flat when we arrived. Everything regarding home and pet care was well explained. Muffin is a wonderful dog and is very well behaved, we loved taking her out to explore Budapest and hang out in the lovely parks around the city. Josie's flat is very well located and made a great home base to explore. We highly recommend this sit and would love to return ourselves someday!
